I own a 2007 Sonata and I have been terrified about getting to my sway bar bushings, and you just made it look so easy. Fears are gone and I know I can do it now lol

I just changed the bushings on a 2006 and after spending and over 2 hours getting the bolts out in the tight space from below, I realized is could use about 24” of 3/8 extensions and reach straight down front the top by the firewall to the bolts. If I would started knowing this it probably would have taken about less than an hour total to do them.

V6 or 4 cylinder? Should be the same but with the bigger engine just wondering if there's still enough room to do it from the top.

    Hello from Florida USA.
Can you tell me those cheaper links and bushings on Amazon and ebay are any good?
    Thanks for any answers!

My 2005 Optima is a bear to do these. The front 14mm bolt is slightly under inner tie rod boot. Any suggestions?

In that case you have to disconnect the outer tie rod from the knuckle and move it out the way enough to get to the bolt. Thanks for watching please Like, Share and Subscribe if you haven't already

Will this be the same method for the previous generation Sonata (2006-2010)?

It’s not easier, but I’m replacing mine while I’m replacing the turbo. The entire subframe has to come out, and that makes it “easy” to get to, but getting the subframe out is a chore. Going to go ahead and replace the lower arms, tie rods, sway bar links, and the steering rack. I’m at 140k miles, I have it torn apart and to the point I can get to all of it, rather do it now than have it fail in the next 5 years and be doing it again.
