- I install custom shollow water anchor's on my little jon boat. this video is showing all the problems that I had while making them. hopefully this video will help you when you build your own!
Always Remember - “A BOAT IS A BIG HOLE IN THE WATER THAT YOU POUR MONEY INTO” - that said - I went 50/50 with my youngest son on a 14’ 1966 Appleby Aluminum V-hull boat with a 1950 Johnson Seahorse 5hp outboard and a Minn Kota 55lb thrust trolling motor - we plan to implement your design - thus - pouring MORE money into our “hole in the water” (aka - Our Boat) - great video !!!
I just seen the TBN video the other day and was like thats a damn good idea. Now I come across this, and its a better idea. Ive spent 2yrs redoing a 19ft Stratos, so my next idea is to make my own set of poles. Thanks for the info.
Wooooooow what an awesome job my friend. I definitely agree with you on making this out of wood first. You would be able to tweak and modify before buying the metal needed to make these. Kudos to you dude. Steve
Those were some awesome engineering on your part. Taking work of others and improving it or adjusting it for your needs and applications, is DIY at its finest! Nice job and hope you get some nice fish because of it!
Great job. I'm interested in making a set for my boat instead of buy pre-made ones
Early 70’s power top motor and hydraulics, I used the exact same thing to trim my 35 hp Mercury on my bass boat back in the 80’s.
That's AWESOME.. I could use this on my john boat... Keep up the great work man🎣👊🐟
Awesome content love the videos
Welcome back. Let's see some videos on the water.
Man That's awesome! I appreciate you taking the time to show off your craftsmanship... Great job! If there is anyway you could share with me what brand and length of actuator you used, that's pretty much what I am stuck on which one to buy how deep I want them to go I am usually no deeper fishing than 6 ft I would appreciate it 👍. I am a fabricator/welder my self and your right definitely start with wood 1st. get all your key measurements then buy the metal measure twice cut once 😂. Thanks again for the amazing video.
WHAT ACTUATORS DID YOU USE
I have the Roy's "anti power poles" and they flex with waves, do waves put stress on the actuators?
I can’t find the link for the linear actuators. So many questions with this one. First, I love what you did here. Wonderful job.
Questions:
1. Where did you find (2) actuators for $80.
2. How did you get them to work off a remote switch and foot switches?
I have additional questions but this will do for now. Thanks in advance and keep it up!
Can you do a video of installation of the bronco mulching kit?
3.35k congrats
I miss working with ya, if you need that crash test dummy I got you
And how’s the knuckle made do you have pics of them
I’d like to make those is there a blueprint of any sort that you know of to make those
I’d like to see the foot buttons you have at the bow
About to build my 15ft semi v and getting a lot of plans and ideals from your videos. Do you have a Instagram or Facebook? I’m also from Kentucky.
Dude . . .aluminum is a metal too.
I kept gettin confused when you would specify 'metal'.
So it's 'steel' vs 'aluminum', yes?
Where’s the link for the linear actuators?
dont know if you guys gives a damn but if you guys are bored like me during the covid times then you can watch pretty much all the new movies and series on InstaFlixxer. Been binge watching with my girlfriend lately =)
@Maximiliano Aarav Yea, I've been watching on instaflixxer for since november myself :)
Did you get the link
When you say “metal” are you referring to “Steel”. Asking cause aluminum is also a “metal”?
Wanna sale one of these?
