    I saw this at the right time! I just uploaded my first video on UA-cam in quite some time. I’ve been practicing on TikTok over the past 4 years working on content, storytelling, scripting, editing and getting comfortable filming myself.

    Hej! This was really good. I've filmed for four plus years and you are the first to show what the DJI pocket 3 looks like pointing out into the world.
    Loads of great tips. ( I still film out of o sequence and without scripts and make a complete mess of things )
    tHanks for the video!

    Thanks for sharing Allen. It's always interesting hearing the process and thoughts behind how others record, edit and create.
    I've picked up some DJI gear over the last month too. I've got an office setup for most videos but used GoPro for other videos in the past. DJI's audio system is a major game changer though.
    Thanks again 👍
    Kevin

    • @LifeAsAllen
      @LifeAsAllen  20 днів тому +1

      @KevinMuldoon I agree and the prices for a lot of the equipment has become very affordable, especially wireless microphones thanks to all the competition between all the companies.

    • @KevinMuldoon
      @KevinMuldoon 20 днів тому

      @allenreid62 Agreed. I've had the Rode Wireless Go II since launch. Before that, I used lavs into audio recorders.
      I got the DJI Mic II with the Osmo Pocket 3, but bought the new DJI Mic Mini package last week too. As you rightly say, there's great competition now from other companies such as Hollyland.

    • @LifeAsAllen
      @LifeAsAllen  20 днів тому +1

      @KevinMuldoon I just received my mic minis this week as well! I have the Rode pros that I really like, but I wanted something I could pair with my pocket 3 and something smaller than the dji 2 mic. Probably overkill for what I do.

    • @KevinMuldoon
      @KevinMuldoon 20 днів тому

      @allenreid62 haha yeah I'm the same. I want good audio, but once something is good enough, I value ease of use and speed of use more.
      From what everyone says, the Rore Wireless Pros are still the best by a wide margin. I just love how DJI has simplified the whole process.

      @@LifeAsAllen I am still fumbling with the camera, and which setting to use when outside. The camera always seems to go to the wrong area, haha, I am not used to a gimbal. Will watch some more tutorials on UA-cam and I saw your mention in another comment that you will post some affiliate links, which I will use as I am looking for accessories.

    Hello Allen….. it’s probably a daft question…… do you edit the filming footage on a laptop? What software do you use? Many thanks. Mike

      Yes, I edit on a laptop using Adobe Premiere Pro. I get it through my school. I hear CapCut is really good, and they have a free version.

    How did you do that at two minutes 13 seconds? Do you have two DJI threes

      No. That was the same camera. I made an edit there and matched my head movement.

      That's understandable, but the more you do it the easier it becomes. Keep the shooting simple and that'll help when you edit.

    My videos seem grainy using my IPhone 15 plus, not sure if it’s my phone or camera handling?but maybe I need an actual camera, I just don’t know who to ask about it 😂 thanks!
