You are onto something. For vlogging and talking to camera as you walk, and similar situations, in my opinion, there is nothing better than these type of cameras. And the P3 is the king of them all. Great image quality, always nicely stabilised, great low light. It does kit have the look of a camera with interchangeable lenses, but then again, it is not intended to compete against those. For what it was designed for, it does a tremendous job!
@@SamuelSotiega This camera is surprisingly good for action too. @@AStCG1989 Well, yeah, in that regard, I agree with you, you are best to stick to the fixed focal lengths. If we go into that level of quality, you are 100%, but sometimes zooming/ cropping in for 10-15% is still okay, not perfect, and ideally, you'd want that done with an actual zoom, but things are the way they are.... But like I said in the video, each setup has its strengths and weaknesses, and it is down to each person to learn and decide what they are comfortable with, all use all 3 depending on the situation and so on....
How is Hohem mt2 after all these months of usage. I heard a lot of people are having horizon leveling issue with this gimbal and some of them just stopped working.
To me, it works great. My last video was shot using the AI sensor it still works like day 1. It’s not perfect and I hope when they release follow up versions they will make the necessary improvements, but for me, so far so good…
Yes, it can be, but you can zoom in a little and get the same focal length. The image does hold up really well. It's all down to personal taste but no piece of equipment is perfect. But the great thing about using equipment is that we are all different. I know people that prefer filming on a smartphone for various different reasons, and other people don't. I have to say, if you are on iPhone ecosystem, apple log looks amazing.....
@ yes i have a iPhone 16Pro..my only filming Problem is the horizont and fine balance smoothing..this was a way better with the pocket3. iPhone has the level grid activated..but this does not help really. Is it possible to fix the zoom adjusting in the pocket 3? or have it done new on every startup to get the „emulated“ 24 mm??
It's true, a lot a people already have the best pocket camera out there, their phone. It's a lot of trouble to whip out even my Pocket 2 for short clips. Yes, if I were those UA-cam walking fools , then the Pocket makes sense, but it's definetly a niche product. If I was packing light, I would just have my phone a Gopro. All gimbals are fragile and if you are travelling fast or at an amusement park, a gimbal anything is just too fragile to stow in your bag. The only area where it might be optimal is in low light, but seriously do you even need it. My Samsung Ultra does pretty good even handheld walking down the street. So if you are an amateur, this might be ok, but expensive for limited use. If you are a pro, why bother. Totally niche product.
My phones are always the lowest possible denometer in all that i own and never a reliable option for any heavy lifting. I'd rather rock a free phone and buy a lens than pay over a thousand for the latest iPhone. Never met an iPhone without a cracked screen.
The pocket 3 is really good!! Very good indeed, but for what it is and for what it is designed for. Just as you wouldn’t use a Ferrari for farming, it doesn’t mean the Ferrari is bad, just that for farming, a tractor is better suited.

@@SamuelSotiega you can crop into your itty bitty sensors to give the appearance of zooming, but these lenses have no moving parts.
But like I said in the video, each setup has its strengths and weaknesses, and it is down to each person to learn and decide what they are comfortable with, all use all 3 depending on the situation and so on....
does the pocket 3 have a gimbal built in as part of it?
Yes, and it works very, very well!

Pocket3 20 mm Lens is a big let down for me… iPhone 24 mm better for filming
Everything has a time and a place. And not for everybody, that’s for sure.
I have all 3 devices
And which one you prefer?
My phones are always the lowest possible denometer in all that i own and never a reliable option for any heavy lifting. I'd rather rock a free phone and buy a lens than pay over a thousand for the latest iPhone. Never met an iPhone without a cracked screen.
You do have a fair and valid point....
So not good quality for the dji
The pocket 3 is really good!! Very good indeed, but for what it is and for what it is designed for. Just as you wouldn’t use a Ferrari for farming, it doesn’t mean the Ferrari is bad, just that for farming, a tractor is better suited.
