What amazes me is how they prepare their food with care and delicacy. They make use of every consumable part of the fish as possible. Even with simple garnishes, they make the dishes so mesmerizing.
Excellent video! I love that there was no voice over and no extraneous noise, just the sights and sounds of the movements captured beautifully. Perfect!
I think this is something that many other cultures need. Knowing and seeing where your food comes from and how it is prepared is, not only fascinating, but essential for a populace.
Peeling the scales off must take a lot of patience. I love watching these Japanese cooking videos, they’re mesmerizing To watch. I’d never have that amount of patience to take the scales off 😂
The surgical skill of these chefs is simply amazing. I wished they also showed the knifes being sharpened allowing this beautiful culinary art to make me want SUSHI during his video. I almost bite my phone 😉
This is beyond professional the way they do it. Those knives are incredibly sharp, the cuts are perfect, they put a heck of a lot of care into the process.
Esto es arte de la cocina japonesa, y ellos sus artistas, se encargan del resultado final ellos son mentes delicadas y su trabajo es excepcional, El orgullo de la comida japonesa en su mayor esplendor.
I love these kinds of video's! minimalist extraneous sound, maximum visual satisfaction... im glad Asians love using their chop sticks to eat with, because if I had to use them to eat with, i'd be looking around for Kutcher to jump out and tell me I was being Punk'd!
I can attest that this is a good chef that knows what he's doing. My father in law is a sushi chef and prepares his fish the same way. It is an art and these guys know what they are doing. I use the same knives and have the same cutting boards, etc. But he's more skilled than I am. I was drooling looking at the Kama. I want to eat that so badly.
1:14 Can we take a moment to appreciate the size and beauty of this fish?? And as a fisherman, the sheer strength and power this fish is capable of exerting! Such a beautiful and delicious creature!
I now love watching these prep videos. And watching these chefs skillfully cut these fish up like a surgeon. And I love sushi. When I look at a plate of sushi they look like beautiful gem stones pulled straight from a treasure chest. And the dishes these guys make are just art!
I can easily watch this videos on this channel for hours, I just love it❤️ My biggest dream is become a chef and this videos show me how some of them work, it's amazing!
Two halves perfectly cut. And then those halves cut into half. Truly mouth watering and fascinating to watch this whole process. Was very interesting, hi .
Incredible respect for this fish ! All part were used ! The tender parts used as sashimi.. the rest, even the head for broth and whatnot ! Nothing wasted !
What amazes me is how they prepare their food with care and delicacy. They make use of every consumable part of the fish as possible. Even with simple garnishes, they make the dishes so mesmerizing.
それが日本料理!
I love how much pride Japanese people take in their work. That kitchen was running so smoothly with everything happening at once. Incredible!
The Japanese never cease to amaze me with how they dedicate themselves to their craft.
You can see how much respect they have for food by the way they handle it.
Yes, that fish was done up right and honored.
Excellent video!
I love that there was no voice over and no extraneous noise, just the sights and sounds of the movements captured beautifully. Perfect!

breaking down fish in a restaurant environment is relaxing. makes sense that watching someone very skilled in butchering fish would also be relaxing
