    I had totally forgot this channel. It just got recommended again and I never get tired of seeing this. I mean I like cooking but have never done or seen anything more unique/ exquisite than this. I always loved seeing the lobsters ones cz I’ve always wanted to taste it. And I’ve been subscribed since 3 years ago and I still haven’t tasted lobster.

    This was absolute beautiful to watch! The chef prepped everything himself and watching him score that squid was amazing! He kept that thing intact the whole time until it was ready to be cut! And the presentation! This is why I love Japanese cuisine especially sushi!

      The regulations for sushi in Japan make ours for food safety look like a joke. To serve fugu or blowfish takes 2 years to learn how to prepare it safely and then only afterwards are you permitted.

    Fun octopus facts:
    - Rubbing a large amount of salt before prepping octopus makes it less slimy and completely removes the 'fishy smell'
    - Messaging the tentacles loosens up the tentacle muscles so it isnt as chewy when you eat it

    Wow, these chef's are so clean with the cuts iv never seen someone put so much effort in to making food like this, but where there is pride there is usaly a few years of bad mistakes previous so hats of to them all, I love cooking from fresh ingredients

    I am so jealous of whoever is making these videos. To be able to travel and eat the foods they get to eat are a dream of mine!
    Man does that look delicious! I absolutely love sushi and Sashimi. I could only wish for having access to such fresh fish and seafoods. As a chef all I can get here is frozen fish and seafood with the exception of some shellfish as well as crab when it's in season here in my state.

    That was very fun to watch. I don’t eat squid or octopus (don’t enjoy the flavor or the suction cups) but it was interesting to see how they prepared it. I was in awe at the amount of skill and control the gentleman had of what looked like a freaking sword. Obviously a master of his craft.

    Used to eat Octopus until I found out how smart they are. They can recognise faces and have high level problem solving skills. They also have an amazing memory. Hate the thought of eating something that can work out it's going to be eaten.

    Before saying this is cruel and such, just because this was captured on camera doesnt make it worse or better than what happens in meat producing farms. Even worse probably happens there, because there are no public cameras prying
