I think you should consider swapping your stock tank for a rally raid tank. That would give you lower center of gravity, which should translate into an even easier bike to flick around. Possible you could also drop the crash bars, saving weight. I don't know if the rally raid tank is like the orange Austrian bikes, where the lower part of the tank act as crash bar but I think it does.
There are exhaust systems for the T7 that keep the slip high; in a safer place than where it is now. Just saying it cause you mention the shared fear of scratching a new exhaust. Amazing videos you do. Keep it up!!!
Keeping the muffler high doesn't put it out of harms reach. We chose the mid mount as it fits the lines of the bike better and it allows for panniers. Just FYI :)

@@MathiasKarlssonErik well since the bike consumes an avg between 4.4 and 5.5 l/100km, depending on how and where you ride it, that means there's an increase of about 50-60%. @@bradsanders6954 I like base platform bikes because they draw the most aftermarket support which makes customization almost endless to suit your individual taste/style. I also am not a fan of bikes with lots of tech as I always feel less connected to the bike and what’s going on under it. Rider aids like TC causes you to become dependent and sort of lazy as a rider. These are only my opinions but it’s just an example of why it’s great there are so many great options to choose from in terms of budget, performance and expectations and stock enhancements vs aftermarket. There is always something for everyone out there and each one offers enjoyment. That, I’m sure, is something we all can agree on. ✌️
I have the Rapid Bike on multiple bikes and love them, but you are incorrect, they do suck more fuel. That’s the point, you go from too lean (stock setting) to much fatter/ richer, more fuel. On all my bikes running Rapid Bike along with improved exhaust system, air system, decat, I was seeking richer, more fuel air mixture. Your mileage per gallon decreases.
I think you've misunderstood, I completely agree with you.. I manually changed the fulling in the software to see what happened. The auto setting is much richer as you say, and it worked much better, but you can do what you want and yes it uses more fuel. Quite a bit.

Tempo ? = Cronometrados ? É ? O = Difícil ?
Tempo !!!❤❤❤
🏆🥇🥇🥇😲😲😲😲👍👍👍👍☝️
Thanks for the review. Do you have any hp or other data you can share?
I have no data other than the Data sheet.
4:47 MacOs account for only 15,33% vs 73,72% use windows. Your statement is so wrong.
What kind of power numbers are you making after these mods?
I don't know for sure. In theory around 80hp.
@@BrakeMagazine 10-4. Any plan to dyno?
I still really want a Tenere 700! D':
By the time everything is added or changed on a T7? It will cost as much as a new 890R would have cost. But still wont have numerous things the 890 has. 90HP will be hard to come by.
I would argue the engine is much more rideable though. The power is strong but also really easy to find grip with. It's a different thing really.
@@BrakeMagazine At 7000 miles on my 890R, Its hard to imagine a smoother torquier easier to ride engine........out on road it goes really well also....the electrical package is really useful for finding traction...its a different thing for sure.....T7 is just more the built to a certain cost thing.
Great
"a lot of people don't use windows" lol, a lot of children.
4:49 A lot of people don't use windows HAHA
Where's episode three???
On Patreon 🤣 Coming some point soon to UA-cam.
T7 world rally or Africa twin crf1100 ES
Depends what you’re doing.
a little touring, day to day riding with a few trails here and there.
@@BrakeMagazine
@@gibb013 Probably the world raid. The more you ride long distances, the better the AT is. The more off-road or small roads, the the T7 is better.
"Great" off road bike ? I would agree with "good". No 450 pound bike is "great" off road.
Depends what you’re comparing it too, but I don’t disagree. It’s great for a big bike, shit compared to an enduro bike unless it’s a hill climb.
The exhaust is a really nice product, but didn't fit without bending it... I'd have sent that thing back.
I find it rare that welded products fit perfectly but I'm also not a sender backer of things!
You defiantly not a novice rider hahahaha
We’re not talking about your speedo not working? 🤔😄
If only I had AUD$30,000........
Llel.. you are anything but a normal rider.
Kind words.
WR250r would of smashed that too
Wr250r will smash anything
What happened to just going out for a ride how easy do you want it just watch UA-cam if you want it that easy
Don't poo poo your skills , you can handle most anything from the looks of it .
A lot of people don't use Windows...
Correction: 69% of the people worldwide use it....
You're just a typical Apple user still in denial you've lost the battle😅
That means 31% dont use it. The point is, its mad to not have an option. I'm really bot an apple fan boy 😂
You should turn your abs off in this environment
I unplugged it.
No dyno results is disappointing.
We can't afford a dyno.
If my exhaust is under 130db i dont want it
😂
Is Yamaha paying you? Is Yamaha supporting this channel in any way? It would be nice for you to disclose this.
I do really love these comments. Yamaha don't give me a penny. They let me use their bike and that is it.
I have a video planned about this subject.
@@BrakeMagazine Thanks for disclosing it. I look forward to that video. I question everything. Once I know that I can trust you, I will 100% be your loyal supporter.
the 701 is better. more HP weighs less.
Mmm, I don't agree. It's better at somethings and worse at others. This is easier to ride in a trials way.
@@BrakeMagazine is it bc it doesn't have the adv plastics and windshield? Can you ,elaborate thanks
I've had both as well, the T7 is better in some areas, the 690/701 is better at others. I agree with Brake, the T7 is better at slow technical stuff. The 690 is better at open field full smash type stuff.
@@MeerkatADV Interesting. I would not have expected that. (I'm a 701 owner). Thanks for the insight.
What’s the point of a clutch arm extender? Can I get your email or dm you on ig I got questions ?
