  • R1 Concepts - one of the biggest players in the aftermarket brakes sector - only performance brakes, though, right? Wrong! R1 Concepts makes normal brakes for normal cars, just like our 2018 Mazda CX-9 Grand Touring! And today, we'll be installing them, and reviewing them. This is a fun video, with a fun install. Special thanks to R1 Concepts.

The Spacers are 25mm, and I'm not sure where I got them from... I believe from eBay, but I can't say for sure.

Dood! You should not remove the master cylinder fill cap. You can compress your brake pistons worth no more effort while the cap is in place. Just website that you have room in the master cylinder for the fluid to be compressed pushed back up into said master cylinder.
Brake fluid attracts moisture from the air, and that moisture will reduce the boiling point of the fluid, which means that the fluid can lose its ability to compress as moisture boils in the system. Moisture compromised fluid also has a much reduced ability to prevent corrosion within the brake system, as well.
It is prudent to only remove the master cylinder cap if you are adding fluid, or performing a brake bleed or a complete fluid change.
