Is there such thing as a "one size fits all" door knocking approach for roof sales? Take a listen. www.ROOFSALESMASTERY.com - becca@roofsalesmastery.com
I knocked on 1 door today, and I was able to get on the roof, and give an estimate on the spot. Spoke to the customer in depth, and left her the estimate and company marketing materials and my card. That produces closes, 80% of the time, over a pretty big sample. I am a top, doorknocking sales pro. I find a need and I fill it. Believe it or not, I give people a warm hello, then tell them my name and my company name, and I use a very simple, quick and to the point style. I smile big, pet the dog, complement on their home with sincerity, and then mostly I get down to business. I don't mind some humor, or whatever the heck is natural. I really do not care if I am ignored or rejected, because I'm the authority, and for them not to listen to me, is Chosen Ignorance. Anything else besides me and what my company offers, is a lesser deal. Confidence, sure footedness, and expert knowledge sets me apart, and my customers soon realize that. I always remember that I am a customer service professional, and my customers are the boss, but I make the rules. I also close the business at 80% +, and I manage my projects and order materials and fill out subcontractor pay sheets, and submit invoices, and always make collections ASAP. I have had my boots on the ground knocking doors, more than any other 5 salespeople you know. I have knocked doors for over 11 hours at a time many times. But over time, you get better, the main thing to overcome, is FEAR
Hi Gary. I was wondering if you would be willing to have a 20min chat with me around the industry? You seem very knowledgeable. My email is roxy3014@aol.com I am hoping to start a door to door roofing business.
Knock knock. Who's there? Claire Hasnot. Claire Hasnot who? Claire has not responded if she's still door knocking a year later ;) jk. Hope for the best, please share your pros and cons!
Thanks for the advice. I'm a canvasser for hail damage. I often find that giving homeowners a 10 dollar Wal Mart gift card for a free roof inspection works pretty good. Thanks for the video! :D
I haven't seen you for a while as I've started with a new company. But, I'm going back over some of your videos and I want you to know that your info is time tested and true. You rock, girl! Keep up the good work!
Thank you very much for the kind words Dean! Glad you're taking initiative to refresh your craft and I'm so happy to hear that my content brings you awesome value. :)
Love the video, i enjoy knocking and canvassing around neighborhoods . Started 5 months ago and we’re doing amazing . Just dislike how everyone swears they’re roof claim specialist and messing up for us that have been in this industry.
i have found my equal!! love your videos! I run a canvassing team and i find it so hard to teach good canvassing skills!! Your videos i hope are going to help me get through to them
Hey Mike, happy to help! You can start by checking out this page here -> roofsalesmastery.com/roof-sales-training-enrollment/ And also entering your email here for free weekly roof sales tips -> www.roofsalesmastery.com/intake/
I love the list of things not to do but this seemed like a pitch to your training vs giving the advice the video describes. Much love! Love the content on this channel
A door pitch is 100% a necessity! I change my door pitch with the season. Around holidays I use a pitch like Hey I’m sorry to bother you, I was actually down the street with one of your neighbors mr and mrs. Smith, they were actually putting some Christmas decorations away when they noticed a leak. We actually found some hail damage and found the leak was coming from an old pipe jack that just needed some fresh caulking. I usually offer my free service in the neighborhood if roofs have reached average age that some preventative maintenance is due. So as long as your ok with a complimentary 25 point documented damage assessment, It’s no obligation and takes less than 20 minutes, I’ll go ahead and grab my ladder and let you know when I’m leaving your property! 🙏
Yes. There are regulations around it that may vary from neighborhood to neighborhood or state to state, and of course some homeowners may put up "no soliciting signs" in their yards
Why do you think they have a pretty, well spoken chick in the SALES video. She is working you allready. 1 out of 10? If it were that easy everyone would be doing it
@@roofsalesmastery I have been selling, installing, eating, breathing and sleeping roofing before you were a glimmer in your pops eyes. How many morons actually buy this dumb ass useless sales shit from you? Lonely losers maybe who are way to used to going to bed alone.
Listen to a lot of your videos and you don’t give value. Giving value will increase your corse sales. Also your channel would grow if you said here’s how you handle this objection vs prepare for different objections. How does telling someone to prepare for objections help them? Also you cuss so much in your videos I can only watch if I’m not around my kids. Sad. Email you ? Why wouldn’t you just put it in the video? Also putting on makeup while you make a video portrays you don’t really care about making your channel a priority which makes you loose credibility as a good source of training.
Hi stranger, thanks for the valuable feedback. My hundreds of videos contain a ton of value, and my paid content - which is how I make my living - provides 100x the value I give away for free. My business does 7 figures each year, so I don't think me as an adult saying a swear word or two is really compromising my results. Me taking the time to make a quick video for someone who messaged me needing help while putting on makeup because I was on a vacation and about to go out for the night shows not only my professionalism but my commitment to helping people even when it is not convenient or when I could have made them wait a week for my help. But thanks for your input on my thriving business! Good luck and maybe you should make your own channel and do it your way. :)
I just started sales/marketing with a roofing company and Im in shock how many youtube videos you have on this field. Keep up the great work!
I'm about to start a roofing sales job in a couple of days. A year later, how did you/do you like the job? Was it as good as promised?

Tamlin Exteriors DFW
Do you only go to the fancy house, residentials homes? Or do you have to do a certain area that they assign you to do?
Did you get the roof done ????????

The whole point is that there is *no* one size fits all door pitch because of the various reasons listed.
It definitely helps to be great looking.

Becca do you have any videos on payment structures and whats standard as far as commission rates in the industry?
Thanks, Nick
I keep getting fucking renters with either god awful landlords, or uptight property managers that won't do a damn thing about it
Beautiful
GREAT WORK LOVE THE APPROACH I'VE BEEN IN THE BUSINESS SINCE 1984
YOUR HIRED

After reading the comments i just have one thing to say, get your minds out of the gutter and on to the roof ppl..
I checked Amazon for your book and it wasn't on there. Do I have to purchase it from Roofsalesmastery.com?

I do suck lol but I want get better
Is it legal to go door to door?
Yes. There are regulations around it that may vary from neighborhood to neighborhood or state to state, and of course some homeowners may put up "no soliciting signs" in their yards
@@roofsalesmastery so like did you look up every neighborhood. Or just kinda go and say screw it
Generally speaking, it's legal most areas. I didn't waste much time worrying about that -- I just took action and learned as I went!
I love your swag ;p
I love you
A true sale person, also door knocking sucks, fuck sales in general did it for 10 years. Happy to never have to do it again.
You guest it
Marry me
Damn woman :O
Your gorgeous
Thank you :)

Would be a whole lot better if you didn’t talk to people like they’re stupid
You'd enjoy the material a lot better if you didn't listen like you were stupid. xoxo
Wow how beautiful super hot sorry
I saw the whole video because shes hot lol

“They?” This is my company, bud. If you aren’t getting 1 for 10, you’re in the wrong business.
@@roofsalesmastery yo budette, sell that shit to someone who is buying.
Lol good luck. Try serving.
