This marks my almost 2years of getting my stem cell transplant and I feel so lucky and blessed to be alive till now. God is Good indeed. He healed me..I can't thank him enough
Hi, glad to hear this. But could i ask you a question about stem transplant. my brother had a bone marrow transplant and it’s two months now and his immune system goes higher and other days goes down .is it normal for that to happen.
Thanks for the inspiration! I have a BMT scheduled in 5 days. I am nervous, but ready. Thanks to you and everyone who has gone before me, paving the way for the rest of us. I have plans to pay it forward in some way. Not sure how, yet. Perhaps donate some time to the cancer treatment center that did such an amazing job to get me to this point. Praise the Lord for giving me the strength to fight. Life is so precious and I can not wait for the rest of my life. Dec. 21, 2023 is my 2nd birthday.
Praying that you are recovering well. Stay strong and continue to fight! My beautiful mom is recovering from her BMT. Her second birthday was 1/3/2024. Thank God for that she was able to get the gift of life❤.
My mother will be doing her transplant on Tuesday 09/15/2020. We where just searching about bone marrow transplant and bumped into this video. My mom saw the whole video with me and I have to tell you that you have gave hope to my mom and you have become her inspiration. Thank You for sharing your experience.

What a beautiful vlog. I was annoyed that you apologised for missing 10 days of video…… dude! Don’t apologise!!! You’re a rockstar for the video and incredibly strong (mentally and physically). All the best to you!
I am preparing to get my bone marrow transplant later this summer. When I found out that I was eligible for transplant... i was scared and nervous. I still am if I am being honest. This video has really inspired me to have a different outlook going into it. Your positivity through the whole process is truly admirable. This is the attitude I want to have. Thank you for making this video, it truly was exactly what I and so many others needed. I hope you are still doing amazing post the BMT and living your best life!
I was diagnosed with AML in September of 2018. I was given 7+3+Mylotarg induction which was mostly uneventful aside from an infusion reaction to the mylotarg. My day 28 biopsy had 6% blasts but the cytogenetics came back negative so we tested again a week later and they went to 1% and very low pcr levels (0.013%). I had t(8;21) so I got HiDAC consolidation for 4 cycles. The only real toxicities I had were mild transaminitis and e coli bacteremia after cycle 4. After the 3rd cycle I was MRD negative but after the 4th cycle I became MRD positive again at a very low level (detectable but not quantifiable). I was tested again at a new hospital a month later and it had gone higher (0.3%) but it was a new lab doing the testing so my new doctor decided to wait a month to test again and it remained stable (0.2%). We tested again 3 months later and it back down to a non quantifiable amount and my last test was negative so hopefully fingers crossed it stays that way indefinitely.

I appreciate this uplifting video. It's heartwarming to witness your positivity. I await the results of my biopsy next week, possibly facing a bone marrow transplant. I'm doing my best to reassure my family that I'm not afraid, but the truth is that I am terrified. Your strength and your willingness to share your journey is inspiring. Knowing that you've faced similar challenges and have emerged with such resilience gives me hope and encouragement. Thank you for making this video. I’m actually pre-transplant, with probability of getting the transplant within the next 12 months. It’s good to see your success and I hope you will keep us posted. I’m fortunate to have low risk MDS and have gone through the gauntlet of treatments but am on the last one, Azacitidine. So it too will quit working and it will be transplant time. Again, thanks for letting us have a sneak peek of what to expect.

Hi, could u please tell me for u when it was detected? How long was the treatment duration... Chemo Cycles..and how's ur health after transplantation...
Wow it was so good to see you do so great and so quickly. Last Friday i celebrated a year since my BMT. I’m still on a lot of medication, and have fatigue and nausea. But about a month ago I started going back to my old job in childcare just to volunteer for a couple hours a day a couple times a week, and started doing some more walking. Fatigue played a huge role in my recovery. I plan to return to study next year too. I remember how bad it was around the time of getting chemo and BMT so I’m surprised you held the camera for that much and don’t blame you for skipping 10 days or so. So much positivity from this video
Thankyou for doing this. This video was very educational and best thing to show to caregivers and family members so they know what to expect and it is also hope for people going through the transplant process that they have a second chance at a normal life. Wish you good luck!
Hello. Thank you so much for sharing your journey. I'm a caregiver for my life partner and this is so very helpful. He doesn't express how he is feeling about the whole issue, but I think he's internalizing everything and he is becoming so mean. I think he needs to seek help from a psychologist (I'm already seeing one, and have for years) but he says he doesn't need any help.😥 But I'm emotionally drained.
Tyler, your story is amazing, you're so brave and thank you for sharing this. Your videos have helped me so much these past months after my diagnosis. Thank you for being a positive beacon for all us blood cancer patients.

Hi. I hope everything went well. Can you please tell me how is your mother doing right now? If its okay.
@@muhammadnoman1616 Hello. My mom is almost 60 days post transplant. She was just discharged from the hospital on Fri Nov 11 2022. She has adenovirus and currently being treated for it. As a result of the virus, she cannot keep down food and very weak. She also requires physical therapy and IV nutrients. Her medical team has been amazing. While this has been a bumpy road, she is determined to move forward each day in her recovery journey. It is amazing to see how strong she is.
@@shyninstar83 hi. Sorry for late reply. It's good to hear she is pushing through. I hope she is much better now. My father has just gone in for his transplant. Hoping for the best. I'll pray for your mum's health as well. Thank you for the reply.
I am 3 months or so from beginning stem cell transplant. Newly diagnosed Multiple Myeloma. Thanks for your video!!!
All my strength to you in this Tommy. Make sure you’re eating lots of food 🥘 👌👍💪

Good to see you again mate

Hi Taylor my brother is going to have a bone marrow transplant on November 2020 ...can I talk to u?
Pls give your contact details
Thanks for sharing, miracle happened in your life. Godbless always🙏🏻🥰
Tyler, your story is amazing, you're so brave and thank you for sharing this. Your videos have helped me so much these past months after my diagnosis. Thank you for being a positive beacon for all us blood cancer patients.

It isn't easy, I'm still worried because is my lovely 10-year-old son, who I've never seen sick in bed or complaining about pain (only occasionally after getting an infection), always very active, clever boy. Hi Sunny, I’m sorry to hear about your daughter. I’m currently day 89 and so far my health has been good. I’m still not able to taste anything still, and my hair has finally started growing back. I’m mostly tired so I take a lot of naps. My experience with the bone marrow transplant was incredibly rough in the beginning but I knew what I signed up for. This is a big decision and it’s a life changing one. I don’t know what the future holds for me but hopefully with the transplant it’ll help keep me here with my family longer. I also don’t know how it will be for your daughter if she chose the same route as me. I hope I was able to help you out. Good luck with everything
