The fact that she diagnosed herself faster and more accurately than so-called doctors says a lot about pathetic state of the medical profession today.

I agree, and the fact that they told her that perhaps she needed to put some lotion on for the itch upsets me so much. I remember when I went to the hospital and told them that I feel pain in my entire body and that something was very wrong, the doctor told me, Oh, your young, maybe you need a vacation or something." Still yrs later, no one can tell me why my body is in pain, and they say, "Oh, I am not too concerned about it." No, because you aren't the one with Joint pains every day. I am the one suffering everyday.
The lady is this video had to do her own research to find out she had cancer, who knows where she'd be today if she hadn't helped herself. It's so scary.

    • @xaviergough9359
      @xaviergough9359 2 місяці тому +34

She did not diagnose herself. She had nonspecific symptoms which match a myriad of illnesses in a differential diagnosis list. An oncologist is the only one who can diagnose cancer if we're strictly talking about evidence-based medicine.

@@xaviergough9359 You talk so much like those who pushed the "safe and effective" . And, just like them, you are wrong. The so-called "evidence" in medicine is too often a set of rigid rules that do not take into account the specifics of every individual. No doctor will EVER know more about a patient's body than the patients themselves.

My mom was 43 with 3 kids when she diagnosed with leukemia in 1994. They gave her less than 5 years. She said the first thing she did was pray to god and imagine that the meds worked and she was in remission. She turns 74 in February, has schizophrenia and blood clots in her heart, needs all her teeth removed, and says she wants to live as long as she can for us. There's power in positive thinking. When I lived in Iran, I got a stomach ulcer at 19 yo. As soon as I entered the doctor’s office and said “hi”, he looked at me and said “you are having internal bleeding! You probably have a stomach ulcer”. Literally just by looking at my face he knew what was wrong with me!!! Needless to say, he later confirmed it with an endoscopy.
But since I came to Canada, I have been brushed off by doctors many times because they are so incompetent. They failed to diagnose a HUGE uterine fibroid which was as big as a melon! How do you miss that?!!! 🤣
I ended up going to Iran to have the operation to remove it. Yeah here is the “advanced medical system” we have in the West.
I now diagnose myself before going to my appointment and just use the doctor to either write me a prescription or the diagnostic tests that I think that I need to confirm my diagnosis 😂

Similar situation with me, I had stage 4 inoperable head and neck cancer. I visited my family doctor for a year with same complaints of difficult to swallow and slight ear ache that never went away. Doctor checked my throat and ears took out some wax and said I didn’t have much room in my throat but it’s normal. After my 4th visit I left and the next day made an appointment with an ear nose and throat specialist and he diagnosed me within 5 minutes and made appointment next day for biopsy. I had a tumor the size of a medium egg at the base of my tongue and lymph nodes were swollen in my neck. God saved me six years out 🙏

After being misdiagnosed for 3 years, my niece at the age of 40 died within 4 months, after eventually being diagnosed with stage 4 Mycosis Fungoides, a type of non-Hodgkin lymphoma. During the years that she was misdiagnosed she had multiple blood tests, scans, PET scan and biopsy’s, all of which apparently showed nothing…. She was also suffering from severe itching all over her body, and was being given various creams to use. I now have zero faith in the medical profession. Same here last year I had horrible pain under my right rib, next to my liver. I went to see different doctors, they ordered different types of scanning and couldn't find anything. I went to google and searched for my self, and got to the conclusion that I had gallbladder stones. At the same time I got a shingles break out, because of all the stress caused by the gallbladder pain. I asked the doctor to prescribe me something for the shingles, to easy the pain and discomfort, he didn't. I called my sister in Costa Rica and she told me to ask the doctor to prescribe me a medication that is used for herpes. I called the doctor, and spoke to the nurse I told her that I was so mad, because I had been miserable in so much pain for a week with the shingles and that my doctor don't know what to prescribe. I demanded him to send an order to my pharmacy and take his profession very seriously 😅 I got my prescription and a few days later I got better; it helped stop the shingles spreading more. I don't know what is wrong with the doctors in this country. The only thing they know is charge our health insurance for killing their patients 😢

This story made me feel so much less alone!
My symptoms (large swollen left supraclavicular lymph node, itching, fatigue, weight loss, night sweats) started in February of 2023(end of my junior year) The doctor told me I had bartonella of all things! I had a gut feeling it was lymphoma all along, but felt dismissed. Things continued to get worse until November of 2023 I developed a fever and could hardly function from fatigue and back pain. I was sent to a larger hospital until eventually ending up in the children's oncology floor of a hospital 4 hours from home and finally diagnosed with stage 3 hodgkins lymphoma in multiple organs and wrapped around my spine. After months of treatment and hospital rooms, I can finally say I've been cancer free since March and am now graduated, married, working, and living a life I love. Recovery is a long road but God has gotten me through it.

It’s not the same as being sick at 20! You have such a great attitude and strong faith! So I welcome you to Waco and look forward to seeing the Miracles that our Lord will bring to your life! They took a year and a half to diagnose my Hodgkins Disease, I went from doctor to doctor, all of whom came up with all sorts of wrong diagnosis. My Gp finally noticed a lump in my kneck, and a few days later Hodkins Disease was diagnosed. The chemo and radiation was terrible and had a severe psychological effect on me, which I took years to fully recover from.
That was 43 years ago, and it never came back. I am now 72 and have lived a full and enjoyable life, I am so grateful to those doctors all those years ago.

What you said is so important because at my hospital we can get our records after we've seen the doctor and I always do and I have diagnosed all the problems I had from the covid vaccine and due to the fact that it was me who diagnosed them and me who saw them he doesn't even write it down. It's really bad because when I make a reference to another doctor I might see as to something that occurred to me what it was how it was solved he says there's no record of that in my medical records. God is going to become extremely aware that his ego was so big that my primary care doctor would never put down anything that I diagnosed and solved. That is criminal literally because there's no record of it and later doctors have no understanding that what I'm saying is actually true that it occurred and that actually is probably involved with what's occurring with me right then and there in their office. I always get a big feeling if they somewhat trust me because they know how doctors egos are so huge that unless they discover it they won't note it. But nevertheless I have no medical record of any of it.

Story after story include tales of patients being dismissed, treatment being deferred bc patients self-report of symptoms aren’t taken seriously only to have disease progress, and a suspicious amount of women having probably the toughest time being taken seriously. Medical training today is a business of turning out “hacks”, and not “critical thinkers”. So, this isn’t a matter of not utilizing medicine vs self-treating. I don’t know where you got that from. Rather, these stories provide “a wake up call”, to the greedy industrial complex of western medicine to maybe put patients first instead of profit. I’m not sure you synthesized these main themes from these personal and vulnerable stories.

It shouldn’t be my responsibility to say “ok, what’s the next step” or to search the Internet & read medical white pages. I’m almost 50, wake with joint aches (hands, feet & knees primarily). Had handle/wrist & foot/ankle ultra sound to check for arthritis. None.
I have narcolepsy & take adderall; 3 times a day (total daily mg consumed is 68.75 mg). This morning I took my first 25 mg dose & 30 min later could physically not keep my eyes open so took a 1-1/2 hr nap. Took my second 25 mg dose around 1:00 pm & was so completely exhausted, couldn’t keep eyes open so took another 1+ hour nap. I get approx 7+ hrs sleep every night.
My skin is constantly itchy esp upper back around the shoulder blades. Upper back is the most intense, all consuming itching I have ever had. Worse than shingles. It’s ALWAYS in the exact same area & it feels really deep (not surface itch). I’ve been told it’s prob a fascia bound area but I get a 90 min therapeutic myofascial release massage every 2-3 weeks; been doing that for the past 10 yrs. NOT a feel good spa massage. I have swollen lymph nodes under my jaw line & I’ve been anemic in blood work the last 3 years. I take iron pills daily.

Thank You Amanda. My sister had early stage breast cancer and was able to get away with a lumpectomy, radiation and reconstructive surgery and she has been cancer free for the past 30 years thank god. I myself have always had annual mammograms and nothing was ever found until one year my left breast became extremely itchy for no obvious reason. It was constant all day every day and for about 4 months I put up with it and then finally went and saw my GP. I had a mammogram and they found a cyst, it wasn't cancer but just having a benign cyst triggered the itching in me. I continue to get my annual mammograms and am happy to report no incidence of cancer. I'm so glad you pushed and persevered to get a diagnosis and I hope you continue to be cancer free for the rest of your life.

I had a very similar experience with the so-called medical professionals. So to keep this short, I developed a rare conditions called ‘Trigeminal neuralgia.’
This condition is a profoundly painful nerve condition that requires major surgery to correct. I suffered for a year being misdiagnosed, going to the emergency room and neurologist. Sick of the agony of watching me suffer, my wife ask me to describe my symptoms in detail as she searched the internet. After about 20 minutes she handed me a printout and said very confidently, you have “Trigreminal neuralgia.” The rest is history. You are a TROOPER! God is proud of your courage…
