I have one. Didn't have any issue putting it on ( I am an experienced computer tech though). No problems with the provided buttons being flimsy either, and they had a smooth finish on them. I use fingerless MTB gloves with mine - like I did with the stock wheel. I don't have clammy hands, but prefer to keep it clean that way. I am quite happy with it over the stock wheel in most situations.
I have one too. I love it. Obviously not perfect for every situation. But it works in most of them.
I feel like it makes it look less like a toy.
is there a way to swap the stock wheel back on and switch them intechangebly? ive never seen anyone mention it.
@@randocontent3628 @randocontent3628 You could switch it back, but not interchangeably. You can get mods that change the mount and will let you swap out real steering wheels. But it isn't advised as they are heavier which would lower the already low FFB. The formula rim I have is made from real carbon fibre and is roughly half the weight of the stock wheel. So, I get more FFB. Most of these aftermarket rims are plastic with carbon fibre stickers on them.

picked up a g920 a month ago, racing mx5. Feel's good to go from not knowing how racing works to winning races, running consistent laps in the period of a month. Oof a tx gsw would be amazing.

What a good looking rim. I will probably buy this rim because personally i am looking for a gt3 rim, and this rim is a really good looking rim. Also the rim looks that is made with really good materials compared with other rims. Good video, i liked the rim.

This is pretty cool and all but stilling going full YOLO and modding my Logitech Driving force GT to add magnetic paddle shifters, a much more powerful motor and converting it to belt driven.

This is very easy to install, or at least that is what my child said when they built it. I did have a go and the buttons and grips feel really nice, but yes, the grips get dirty a LOT. Unless you are wearing gloves.

By the time you buy and install this mod on your logitech wheel you could have purchased a much superior product from Thrustmaster. The difference is night and day going to a T300 wheel or better.
No matter what mods you put on these logitech wheels, it is still just a 3 NM wheel with plastic gears inside.
I know, I had the G920 and wasted my money buying the adapter for other wheels and it still felt like a cheap bottom of the barrel controller.
Sell it, go buy a Thustmaster or Fanatec. Unless you live in a market that you can't get the other brands. Then, I am sorry for you.

G29 or T248?
G29 is better for customization but t248 has MUCH better ffb. Personally I would go with t248
