Caribbean passion is my favorite. I’ve been using up frozen watermelon we couldn’t finish with some frozen strawberries and some orange juice and it reminds me of a Jamba Juice.
Most frozen fruit/veg sold in grocery stores is also IQF. It helps maintain quality of the product (reduces ice crystal size) and prevents the product from clumping together in a huge block. I used to work at Jamba too and found that my favorite smoothie was the cold buster w/ some modifications (no banana, sub peaches; and sub the regular OJ for the fresh squeezed OJ (which is always a huge upgrade for freeeeeeee!) that with a sourdough parm pretzel with mustard is *chef's kiss*
i realized this too! when i mixed frozen mango instead of bananas into my smoothies. I get the exact same sweetness but it doesn't leave an aftertaste like bananas do which is more refreshing i believe

I really love the idea of Jamba juice! I totally wish they could use better ingredients it’s all sherbet yogurt juices and frozen concoctions. I used to get a fresh beet juice but then they got rid of the beets 😭

Am I the only one that actually really dislikes banana in smoothies? I just find the flavor of the banana overpowering. To each his/her/they’re own though 🤷🏾♀️
Just a thought for the Caribbean passion drink to maybe make your own mango passion juice and your own sherbet so you can manage how much sugar you're putting in as well as getting the flavor closer to the actual drink.

This looks so fun! I am pretty basic I go for the classic Strawberry smoothie. I agree With your preference in smoothies texture. Haven’t even tried the wild strawberry one or the others. I just made the Strawberry Wild and I couldn’t taste the banana. However, I had a banana that was just starting to turn yellow so it wasn’t sweet when I froze 6 of them. I used my halfway ripe banana and I got the creaminess but not the taste. Try it with a banana that is half way ripe and very frozen and cut into chunks and maybe that will help.
All I wanted to know what to make a Jamba Juice and all you had to do was make it to the simple but no you had to make us so difficult make your own I wanted. That's what you wanted
All the stuff you changed, are the exact things you would change in order to make these recipes into a business lol you can do this every morning… or just pay a little more to have someone make it for you 😉
They all look refreshing during sweltering summer days. I've been making mine with blueberries, bananas, mangos, and matcha powder lately. :)

When you put mango in smoothies, it has the same effect as when you put bananas in smoothies. Making it smooth and creamy.

Oddly enough, frozen zucchini also acts like a banana in terms of making it smooth and creamy. Raw frozen squash also works!
