Your food styling is OUTSTANDING. The smoothies beautiful on their own, but the glasses and accessory prepware dishes are all elegant, sparkling, and properly sized. Kudos!
This comes at such a good time! I was just saying to my husband that we need to prioritize sitting on the porch in the evenings while it’s warm but neither of us are drinking right now. I’m pregnant and alcohol keeps him from sleeping and upsets his digestion. These would be a great replacement for that end of day drink!
I'm pregnant too, my go-to drink is sparkling water, fresh mint, lime juice and some ice cubes. You could add frozen berries, it makes a virgin mojito :)
Love you, Sadia and the pick up limes team! You’ve inspired me so that even I can cook healthy meals (and they taste delicious). I am always on your website searching up recipes. Thank you so much for all the effort you put in! Wish I could meet you!
These all look absolutely insane I can’t wait to try all of them! I’m in recovery (18 months this month!) and I really appreciate these. I do miss interesting botanical/not too sweet cocktails in the summer, as most non alcoholic options just tend to be sodas or super sweet juices. I was scouring the web for drinks particularly like the first 3 so thanks so much for coming up with them!

Another great content from Picking Up Limes! 💚💚💚 Can I ask for a personal request? I had to endure cancer treatment last year. Clear now & recovering from that fight. But left my body destroyed. Particularly my stomach lining due to the medication that was non negotiable and had to take for nearly 7 months daily. I am following a very strict non acid foods diet, tons of vegetables, plant protein and miso. I love all foods, these are my best mates since last November. Can you do a series of how food can help gastritis. After this happening to me, I started hearing from way too many friends, family and colleagues how they suffer from stomach acid and pains but they just don't change their diet. I encourage them to listen to their body and eat accordingly. But ppl find it so tricky to find nutritional meals suitable for gastritis. I think you will help tons of people if you do some content focused on gastritis. Thank you for sharing your wisdom and energy with us 🙏🍏
Brilliant and very knowledgeable video! One small correction that I want to make is that "Lassi" isn't only enjoyed in India. It's a very popular drink in the entire South Asian area including Pakistan and Bangladesh.
I made the watermelon one substitute the rosemary for mint leaves it was really good. Today I made the mango w/ dates it was really good to. Nice summer drinks! 😎

Fermented foods used to be a necessity when there was no refrigeration. There is a dispute whether probiotics in fermented foods help the gut microflora. Pepper in curcuma was used in ayurveda for absorption, but there are other opinions suggesting that pepper actually acts as an irritand and can be totally avoided (info from medical medium). I like your recipes, but I try to avoid trendy traps, so I alter them accordingly. Your videos are very inspiring -thank you!

I always thought lemon and curd is not to be mixed as both are acidic and could increase the hcl level of the stomach and cause acidity. But after watching your version of mango lassi, I did some research and found out that it is safe to consume lime and curd together. Thanks for breaking my food myth!

Yeah... I was wondering about the 'erbs vs herbs thing. As an American, we say 'erbs. Brits say herbs. I don't know, for sure, what Canadians tend to do. I suspect in Quebec they say 'erbs because of the whole French influence.
Someone told me once that the mouth-tingling effect from pineapple only happens when they aren't truly ripe (as is inevitably the case with fruit grown commercially, picked early, and transported to grocery stores far away). And that if one had a truly ripe pineapple- like if you live in a place where they grow, maybe Hawai'i... that you don't get that tingling. I've never had a chance to put this to the test ☺but have wondered if it's true.
Ooff I cannot wait to try out the kombucha! Looks delicious😌 One question though: how do I make sure the fruits and veggies are properly cleaned from all pesticides/other harmful chemicals? Preferably I buy organic greens but with the inflation it has become less accesible..
