I’m never going to find out. My state doesn’t require inspections and I have no plans on going back to the dealership. Not adding more crap to make the EPA or California happy
Some states are requiring proof that the recall is done to get the truck registered. It wouldn’t surprise me if this becomes mandatory nationwide, especially since Cummins has an incentive to get the trucks “fixed.”
Why not keep the truck until the recall is done. Test 0-60 unloaded, loaded and towing, also a mpg loop before and after the recall. You guys could put some actual numbers to what everyone else suspects
It’s a total bogus government scam: The EPA /Government does not calculate total emissions per mpg per tank so when the fuel economy drops by 25% for example, one is putting 25% more emissions into the atmosphere. Owners of VW diesel gate engines apparently reported that after their diesel emissions were brought into emission compliance, in their same real world driving allegedly lost more than 4 mpg per gallon, thus per tank after the modifications, actually resulted in more net pollution increases per tank! And how does this help the environment? High altitudes, payloads and/or towing applications potentially may have the greatest potential for negative impacts after the software etc updates. If changing the software doesn’t negatively affect fuel economy and reliability, why did Cummins allegedly cheat in the first place or did they? I would like to see the testing engineering methods and conditions California used to determine Cummins was cheating and what fuel pump was in the test vehicle(s) and for how long.
TFL Truck is already done the preliminary tests with their 2022 RAM2500 6.7L Cummins. They did numerous tests on video and are waiting for their recall to be done, and by the way, 2022 & 2023 RAMs may not be included in the recall!!
I was literally planning to buy a 2022 Ram 2500 w/ 6.7l Cummins THE DAY I heard about the EPA $1.7b thing. It was a great deal w/ 8k mi for 58k w/ an MSRP of $73k. I freaked because I would have been under manf warranty and I couldn't just piss on my warranty. Plus I live in California and I'd have to comply to keep it registered. So I went for great deal #2 and got an f150 FX4 3.5l that has 400 HP and 500 ft/lb and tows 13,900 lbs. Got it w/ 3k miles w/ 100k Ford warranty for 51k w/ MSRP of $64.5k. i'd have preferred the Cummins, but not if they were going to detune the life out of it. It's amazing how they keep force feeding EVs down our throats that burn through tires and result in battery graveyards if the don't spontaneously combust first. The minerals required for EVs dwarf any ICE vehicle. We need diesels to feed people but they don't care. Democrats have literally become anti-human in the facade of "saving the planet".

I too had this calibration done, and I remember the recall referencing engine calibration, although I had no idea it had to do with this EPA thing at the time! I did notice a slight change in pedal response, DEF use, and tranny gearing changing, and I have the 2019 Limited with the H.O. And Aisen.
What would be great is that the channels following this issue, continue to follow the money once Cummins pays out the fine. What is the Government going to do with the money? Who's pockets will it go into at the Environmental Protection Agency without any positive outcomes for the health of the general public that this fine is for! I would follow that story.
Had three eco diesel and each had the recall performed and they had problems afterwards power was down efficiency way almost down 30 percent went from averaging 35 per gallon down to 24.5 per gallon. Fca did compensate me 3200$ per vehicle but still not worth it. I have a 2017 2500 crew cab with the 6.7 and I will not have this recall performed unless they can guarantee in writing horsepower’s and torque does not decrease and fuel efficiency stays somewhat the same. Also I think in my mind I wouldn’t settle for anything less than 5000$ so a good delete and tune could be done after the recall was performed
Hey Howard & Stephen, I totally agree with you on your assessment on what the consumer gets when a manufacturer does a recall. When I get my insurance bill for my Ford truck, it lists any recalls that I have to get taken care of. Implying if I don't, I could have a rate increase or loose coverage all together. Mine was just windshield wipers, so no biggie. Hope yours works out good for you.
In the US California is going to force owners to get the recall performed by linking it to your registration renewal. Hopefully other states don't follow that move.
Check this out from California ARB. It says the recall is optional and you can still register and smog without it. ww2.arb.ca.gov/resources/fact-sheets/cummins-settlement-frequently-asked-questions
@johnirwin1837 If my truck has reduced performance after any "upgrades" that would be considered harm. I would be absolutely shocked if this update didn't include a performance loss and/or a reliability decrease.
Your truck will use more DEF, will Regen more, and Dump More ERG into your engine after the recall. There have also been reports of reduced MPG and owners reporting a reduced power feel while towing their same trailers. That means YOU will have to pay for EGR Cooler and Intake Cleanings at a service Center (FK the Dealer) That EXTENDED WARRANTY is for a reason, you will wear out components faster. However, the extended warranty will be USELESS for trucks with more than 120,000 miles already! - It's a FULL Reflash including the transmission_ I read the FCA Stellantis bulletin this morning. Of course nobody want to release specifics of what they will do to your truck, Nobody want to catch a Class Action Suit! But, I suspect if FCA are the ones doing the reflash that causes the negative changes to your truck - they will have to OWN the Lawsuit.
If i were cummins, I'd make it a point by laying off all my workers and closing down shop. Make it a point that epa and carb has now made it impossible to do business in North America.
That would be massive malpractice of your fiduciary duties as executives of the company on the stock exchange. Any one of the company shareholders would be eligible to sue you personally in civil court for massive financial damages that you caused by shattering the value of a 28 BILLION dollars annual revenue company. 😃 Not to mention, why kill the golden goose? Next year Cummins will generate another $2 BILLION profits on those $28 BILLION revenues we just mentioned.
In Toronto, even before the VW and Ram ecodiesel fiascos, diesel pickups that chuffed out any coal were pulled over and any alterations or missing emissions equipment was/is caught, and required to be put back to O.E.M with fines out the Yang Yang. Still happens today. Some areas in Canada, mostly rural, do not have emissions testing. Emissions equipment cuts engine life and makes the vehicle lose the power and performance you purchase them for, but still pollute.
My 2018 Ram 2500 with 856is at dealer now waiting on new ecm. Original message received was def derate and code was for the injector. Replaced but did not reset even the dealership could not reset. So after diagnostics run for warranty and comes up that it’s the ecm and thankfully I have platinum warranty and it’s paying for it be replaced. I’m wondering if I’m getting the recall added in automatically when it’s programmed but I haven’t received recall but dealership has? And why has the ecm gone bad on low mileage cummins or is it due to the age?
That’s right. I unfortunately live in California for the time being and I own a 2018 Cummins and I had to have the recall done to renew my registration. So I had it done and so far I have noticed no change in the truck’s performance. It’s only been done for about a week so long term we will see. My big question is when I move from Cali and I go to delete my truck what will happen.
Guys over at TFL are doing testing as we speak to figure out pre and post recall performance differences on their Ram 2500. I'm curious to see if there is any performance difference as well, although I wouldn't be surprised if it drives the exact same. I'm pretty sure I heard that the fine was over NOx emissionsif I remember right so I'd bet their fix will just be injecting more DEF to lower emissions which shouldn't affect performance too much, but who knows. Like you said, at this point no one is saying what actually happened and what is polluting more so we've got no idea what the fix might be. Either way I'm somewhat invested as my parents own a '19 2500 my mom drives and they use to tow their RV.
I work for a Ram Dealership in California. We have been doing the 67A emissions recall since November 30th. Before it was announced. So far the 67A recall only covers 2013-2018 Rams with the Cummins engine. We have had no reported loss of power, performance, fuel mileage or increased DEF usage since doing the 67A recall. Also in California you CANNOT register your vehicle until the recall is done. I believe there are 13 States that have adopted California emissions standards. But I don’t know if the are doing the requirement like California. I’ve been doing at least 2 a day . Then go one with my regular work.
Without knowing what Cummins will do here's my experience with my TDI Golf. I received all my payout funds and declined to have any of the modifications done. Each time it went in for a service I had to sign a paper stating I wanted no modifications done in regard to VW's emission issues on their diesel's. So VW owner's were given a choice. Do the modifications, which made the car weak AF and fuel economy worse, or keep it as is. I stayed with the as is(well the car is tuned now) and received all compensation paid by VW. Hopefully this will be similar for the Cummins issue.
Kalifornia is refusing to process registration renewal without proof of recall completion. Seems like the responsibility has shifted to the target with the least ability to defend itself.
Can’t blame Cummins. EPA makes standards so ridiculous now it’s near impossible to sell consumers the trucks they want to buy with an acceptable level of power, efficiency, and reliability.
Can’t blame Cummins ? Actually 100% it’s on Cummins and dodge. Ford and GM followed the same guidelines and didn’t cheat. Dodge did. Now I have no problem with you saying EPA js hard standards. But truth is Dodge and Cummins cheated the same game others didn’t. All the Cummins fan boys can cry more
@@9663mu well Dodge hasn’t been in the truck game for awhile, it’s Ram, and what’s to say Ford and GM haven’t had their issues meeting standards? Volkswagen, Cummins, just another company caught up in the EPA nonsense until they force every manufacturer out of the diesel market.
If I run my lawnmower in my garage for mere seconds it nearly kills me. I can start my 2018 6.7 stone cold in my garage and let it run and not even smell it. my truck won't be in the 85%
Steve, you are very fortunate because you live in a state where you don't have to have that done right away. I am in California and received the recall right after the first of the year. In California we will be required to show proof before we can reregister our vehicle. I already have the vultures circling, I received a letter in the mail from a lawyer that states lemon law. This is just begun and there will be a huge class action lawsuit against Cummins and RAM. I tow a trailer and definitely do not want to have to pay more in fuel or see my DEF usage go up. Thanks for keeping us up to date.
Volkswagen had diesel gate. I believe Mazda many years ago misrepresented the power rating for their Miata. Some owners were offered cash incentives and the company offered to buy some of the cars back. I'm wondering if Ram will do the same with some compensation from Cummins since they are at fault.
Ram seems to be distancing itself from this. I think since this is a Cummins issue and not Ram. Plus Cummins didn't admit wrong doing and just paying the fine. So they are basically avoiding this steps. But I think a class action will force the matter. Well see what comes of it.
My 12 valve has ZERO emissions equipment. My truck makes 180 HP but probably puts out more emissions than 5 of these cheating trucks, lol. Not sure why It's a massive deal when my truck is completely legal EVERYWHERE, polluting massively as it goes. I'm not mad at Cummins. The EPA is going too far, raising costs and making repairs more expensive and more frequent.
Did a full delete of mine at 3500 km and it's been amazing so far. Better throttle response, better economy, and I have a clean (no coal) tune. My previous Ram 3500 which was bone stock was constantly in the shop for check engine lights related to emissions. Best thing of all is that I don't have to worry about any of this nonsense.
California will not reregister one of these without proof of recall being done. So thats another problematic angle current owners have to deal with on top of questions on how it will perform after recall service. Customers should not have to pay for Cummins issues with the government.
Had the recall done on mine. No difference to the power. Fuel economy and dep fuel use is still out for testing. My exhaust smells different, before the recall i could barely smell it now you can definitely smell the dep being burned.
Guys, especially Howard ,take a deep breath, get the recall done and see how your truck runs. You are more fortunate than most, you own 2 fairly expensive trucks. You can't just assume this wont fix the issue an you'll be stuck with a truck you can't sell
$2 billion fine not including the repairs ! Chances are loss of power and fuel economy ! I was a fleet mechanic for 30 years Ford did this another way on 6.0 - 6.4 and 6.7 ! Every single truck got detuned at the very 1st recall campaighn even if it was just a door handle- strange noise etc...
If everyone is having to cheat inorder to reach these goals pulled out of thin air then maybe the requirements should be questioned instead. Maybe the government should first take the vehicle and find a way to meet their own requirements to see if it is even possible
Are you kidding me? Govt is good at telling others what to do but they can't apply the same rules. Look at how many billions they have spent on the homeless in CA and they think spending more is the answer😂😂
That could possibly open up another saga as in violating your rights as an owner and could create a a counter suing against the government if enough people sign on that would or possibly could be another class action suit and there are lawyers out there that would tackle this you see it in tv commercials every day. Just playing devils advocate here in this particular case
Guys, do you also have a recall for the CP4 FUEL PUMP for your truck? l do not keep up with all of your videos so if you told us already l apologize. I got one for my 2020 Ram 2500 Cummins, with parts not yet available to change the pump. This would be another problem whrn selling the truck. Thanks for all the great videos!
I’m no scientist and no one should listen to anything I say about this, And most of us already know this but the amount of effort and energy put into creating a DEF DPF system followed by the millions upon millions of plastic DEF containers and energy creating that stuff has got to negate what we’re actually “gaining”. Plus the loss of productivity from diesel engines when they have emissions problems that shut them down. Not to mention at the end of the day, those exhaust particles come out of that system one way or another. It doesn’t matter if it comes out in the form of unburnt fuel or it gets heated up in the exhaust system and then blown out eventually or just gets trapped in a filter that later gets trashed. Either way, it’s coming out of that exhaust system…
@wiliamhsteele to add to this a few years ago Kalifornia did some testing and has said that DEF particles are killing the trees. I figured they would finally wake up and get rid of the DEF. It’s not about the environment it’s about the money.
TFL truck did then up date and tested the truck. Haven't watched the video yet. My big question is why we, as the American people and people around North America giving money to california??? Big question there!!!!
I never addressed the previous recall about the lugnuts being over torqued. The local dealer has been leaving messages telling me to come on in and get it done. And what are the odds that they would do the emissions update even if I demanded they not do it? I've got a '17 3500 HO. Non deleated because of emissions testing in my area. I am praying for a buyback. Or some major assistance on a 3500 gasser. I'd trade in a heartbeat.
Steve, always appreciated how down to earth and "calm" this channel was. The title of this is pretty sensationalized/dramatized, I expected that from TFL of course but was hoping you guys wouldn't go there.
I agree with Howard, however, Biden, Trudeau, and Newsom do not give 1 S**T about consumers or the environment. It's about the money and the power they have over people.
I think I had this recall unbeknown to me on a visit to the dealer. What I do notice is I go through def like I go through fuel. I had a 2018 that I never had to worry about def level it seemed so long between fill up’s. My 2019 uses so much def I’m gonna buy stock in def blue. I think that’s what the recall does. Pour more def into your filter. Let’s see if I’m right.
In California, the issue will be monitored by the presence of a recall sticker or the code reader the smog mechanics use will determine if the truck is in compliance. This will result in not being able to register your truck, and there are several states that use the C.A.R.B. testing system.
A recall doesn’t care what an owner does after purchase. If the recall is unable to be performed, it’s unable to be performed but that might affect vehicle registration etc.
Every Cummins owner is afraid it's going to get a de tune like the Eco diesel. Hopefully it will just use more DEF. I am all for helping the environment but this as come too much BS.
Some states, such as California, will not let allow you to register the vehicle until you have a certificate of completion on the recall. This sucks, I have a 17 3500 with 55k on it and then this issue but I am really pissed because I just found out that I have a problem with the turbo, either the VCT or turbo or both. Nice and expensive repair.
I heard about the 2500 and 3500 but i have a 2014 5500 dumptruck just wondering if my truck has the same recall i cant afford to lose any power or have a dot target on my truck
Clear the ice off your roof guys! Its so shitty and dangerous to be behind someone who has sheets of ice flying off their roof on the highway. If you cant reach, get a longer brush, a step ladder or a shorter vehicle.
If truck performance is adversely affected, owners can open a class action suit against Cummings for compensation. That's how you as the owner will be able to address you being duped as a customer and being stuck with a vehicle that nobody will buy from you. The results of that class action suit maybe money or perhaps a requirement from Cummings to purchase your vehicle /engine from you.
If I had opted to keep my VW TDI, I would’ve just had it tuned back to the pre-fix state. It was a small percentage of cars in the 3rd ranked Nox contributor: HD Trucks -> Off-road Construction-> Light Duty Vehicles. Granted, other metros are different. Realistically the VW thing didn’t do a damn thing to affect Nox levels in any measurable way. It did fund a comically unreliable charger network, so there’s that.
Oh, I had thought, and wished it was on the new models as well, because I want one of those defeat devices. Anything to shove it to the government and there over reach.

If your vehicle is not upgraded it can not be registered in some U.S. states. Once the tags expire it's no longer a legal vehicle. If it's a lottery of 85% it will be the people that just re-registered, the day before that recall, that win... or that live in states that don't have strict vehicle pollution laws for commercial fleets.
My DPF equipped 6.7L cummins already gets the same fuel economy when towing as my gas V-8 pickup....if it gets worse mileage than it already does then I think we should be getting compensation.
I had my truck into the dealer twice in 2022, no mention of a recall open on my truck at that time. Two previous recalls were safety related and clearly not related to the engine controls. If a truck was already done by the dealer the owner would not have received a recall notice for this Emissions thing on their truck.
Since your truck is a 2019, it likely already has the emissions flash completed. The flash for this issue was released under recall VB6 back in 2020. Most 2019’s got the VB6 flash done at the same time they completed the W06 recall.
You made some really good points. Personally if I didn't have to get it "fixed" I wouldn't. But on a different channel they were saying if you didn't get it fixed then you couldn't get a new registration. Now I'm glad I don't own a Cummins

An engine and vehicle cannot be viewed independently. The emissions of any motor are heavily dependent on the weight it is hauling, in other words, the truck! Why cheat? Smaller DPF and less regens. Usually running lower EGR than necessary to meet emissions, instead opting for more power / better driveability. You will get more exhaust filter regens after the recall... Manufacturers have to balance soot vs NOx. That is what emissions measure. More EGR = less NOx = more soot = clog DPF faster. Less EGR = less soot = less clogging of DPF (can fit a smaller DPF, smaller, simpler EGR valve & save money) = more NOx! So they cheat, since to meet both means engineering a solution = more money. So fiddle the software...😅
Gentlemen, you bring up the most thoughtful points anywhere with pollution, etc. Bravo! As a private owner, I care about pollution, environment, etc. But, I don’t think in terms of policy in a corporate manner. Is 10% over? 15%? 50%? I like the way it runs now. If that changes, forget it…..
Those states with emission tests during their annual state inspections may fail the truck if their computers can pick up the non compliance of the recall. It’s totally not right to not compensate the truck owners if this occurs.
TK, The old Carpenters song "We've Only Just Begun" should be suitable for the events that will unfold over the upcoming months and years. On the general subject of vehicle emissions, the last time I checked, it was not the individual's choice to determine how much pollution they felt entitled to emit but rather the responsibility of the government. For the sake of other road users, please remove the ice 1:15 from the top of the truck before setting out .
Cummins should buy back the trucks. Or pay the owners compensation. We bought these trucks with their 6.7 because of the current level of performance. If detuned, less fuel economy or worse longevity then buy it back. Wouldn’t have bought it if that was the case. Cummins guys don’t get upset (have been a Cummins owner since 1989) but the Ford is looking pretty good these days. Better transmission fuel economy and way more power!!!! Ram and Cummins really need to step it up. They are so far behind Ford now.
I still have my 2009 VW TDI, got the $5400 check from VW, $320 from Bosch, they installed a new DPF, catalytic converters and did the software update with a 45000 warranty. WHY WOULD I ALLOW RAM TO MODIFY MY 2014 3500 TRUCK WITHOUT ANY COMPENSATION OR WARRANTY? SEEMS THE GOVERNMENT GETS EVERYTHING!!!
It will burn more fuel and have less power and will have more repair cost for your doc and dpf. I’ve heard that if you don’t do it then this states will not let you register your truck. It’s just them hooking up there lab top and reprogram it no parts to replace.
I just bought my truck this past weekend and got the HO at the premium oeuvre of 13k over the regular 9k for the standard. But I got it for the powerv and torque and I'm not giving that up without a payoff
Then you can not get it serviced at dealership even for oil change because they will do the recall software update. In any case yours is most likely already updated if it’s a recent purchase. Dealers we’re doing this recall update on the new or used trucks they sold for months now.
Wonder how many people will flash back the software once recall work done. Then reflash a week before next emissions text. Basically spend time flashing the software back and forth all the time.
Something to keep in mind, Ford & GM have to play by the same rules and we're also subject to the same testing and are not in trouble for this. Ford & GM went through the time & expense to do things right from the get go. Cummins did not. If you want to blame anyone, blame Cummins for not doing things right the first time.
@HVT… Exactly. I own a 2023 GMC 3500 Duramax. I wouldn’t be totally surprised if the other shoe drops and Ford and GM trucks are doing something similar, too Especially, as they have higher power output and in case of Ford, better fuel efficiency than the RAM trucks.
I hered If you do not fix you will not be able to renew license plate and registration!!!.(a dealer issued certificate will be presented at the DMV that the truck meets emmisions) Hence, you will be running the chance of getting pulled over for expired plates.
My son had his Ram 3500 done. Nothing changed. He is doing a check on the DEF now. He figures that the recall changes the DEF speed limited feature. He ran out of DEF and the speed didn't slow down. He was able to keep speed and the speed limiting only came when he shut the engine off and restarted it. He is checking now what will happen when it runs out of DEF. He figures that the speed limiting will happen at speed on the highway. Search Aaron S. Rose on youtube.

They told Cummins make check payable to Volodymyr Zelensky is what I heard.
exactly what BS, they did the same think with Volkswagen back in 2015 when I owned a VW TDI now I own a cummins.
This old joke really applies "I am from the EPA, and I'm not happy until your not happy!"
All Canadian customers were screwed over by FCA with nothing paid out for ecodiesel owners! No more Rams for me.
In Colorado as well.
I’m sure most blue states will follow
Hmm. There are hundreds of EVs that are DOA due to -0 temps. I don’t trust the EPA. My truck runs great. If it ain’t broke….
Best discussion of this issue I've seen so far!
If I owned one of these trucks, I would absolutely not be getting the recall done, unless there was some serious compensation included with it.
A coworker of mine got like $3,500 for getting his Ram 1500 EcoDiesel recalled. He spent $1,000 of that to get an aftermarket tune ;)

Have you guys also inspect the heater grid bolt. They have a tendency to break off and destroy your engine
My dealership said don’t do the recall. Its purpose is the Government bringing these trucks up to California emission standards.
Your truck will use more DEF, will Regen more, and Dump More ERG into your engine after the recall. There have also been reports of reduced MPG and owners reporting a reduced power feel while towing their same trailers.
That means YOU will have to pay for EGR Cooler and Intake Cleanings at a service Center (FK the Dealer)
That EXTENDED WARRANTY is for a reason, you will wear out components faster.
Only an issue for people in CARB states.
If you’re not in a carb state you don’t have to get it tested so no registration issues.
I am with you guys! Great video! As usual, the small guy is getting screwed!
Emissions equipment cuts engine life and makes the vehicle lose the power and performance you purchase them for, but still pollute.
don't take it to a dealer they will do something to probably detune it!!
Not probably
Got proof to back up that remark?
So true it will happen ford did that
My 2018 Ram 2500 with 856is at dealer now waiting on new ecm.
I hear in California if you dont do the recall cant reregister your truck ! Sounds like these things are gonna take a huge hit in value

And that’s how it was always done in history of mankind. Usually.

They will not let us register next year for truck if recall is not complete in California
I wouldn’t let them update my truck. I’d never take it to a dealership again lol

If they don’t want to pay, they don’t get to use the roads 😂
Had the recall done on mine. No difference to the power. Fuel economy and dep fuel use is still out for testing. My exhaust smells different, before the recall i could barely smell it now you can definitely smell the dep being burned.

And I'm laughing my ass off on all those Tesla's in Chicago that won't charge because it's TOO COLD! HILARIOUS!!!!!

Regardless of what tuning they had, they all have exhaust filters with Def. They make it sound like they put in a filter bypass
EPA is a total crock of
How are they going to recall the trucks that owners have already bought deleted and tuned for themselves 😂
A recall doesn’t care what an owner does after purchase. If the recall is unable to be performed, it’s unable to be performed but that might affect vehicle registration etc.

What happens to those that deleted there Cummins will they be made to reinstall the system
At 170k my 2013's exhaust split from the the SCR to the DPF due to clogging. That is $10k in parts. Will they cover the cost to replace that?
Every Cummins owner is afraid it's going to get a de tune like the Eco diesel. Hopefully it will just use more DEF. I am all for helping the environment but this as come too much BS.
Some states, such as California, will not let allow you to register the vehicle until you have a certificate of completion on the recall. This sucks, I have a 17 3500 with 55k on it and then this issue but I am really pissed because I just found out that I have a problem with the turbo, either the VCT or turbo or both.
Most likely result of that after years will be owners get a small payout
It’s Cummins
Ya my experience with class action suites is lawyers make all the money we will get 300 bucks.

The settlement notice and recall was two weeks ago
Since your truck is a 2019, it likely already has the emissions flash completed. The flash for this issue was released under recall VB6 back in 2020. Most 2019’s got the VB6 flash done at the same time they completed the W06 recall.
You made some really good points.

Depends what state you live in, they can invalidate your registration till you do recall ,that's why you will have to do it

Simple fix have all effective trucks come in and have compound turbos installed for better fuel emissions, power and better fuel mileage.
You gonna pay for that?😂 Because Cummins sure as hell won’t…
Those states with emission tests during their annual state inspections may fail the truck if their computers can pick up the non compliance of the recall. It’s totally not right to not compensate the truck owners if this occurs.
By the way…your video was spot on..good job!!
Your crazy if you think the effected trucks value has only gone down a $1000.

I heard that USA customers that don't get the computer re-flashed you won't be able to register your truck ...
What happens to all the deleted trucks, that don't want to come to dealers?
I want the EPA to pound sand. This wrong
Something to keep in mind, Ford & GM have to play by the same rules and we're also subject to the same testing and are not in trouble for this.
Ford & GM went through the time & expense to do things right from the get go.
Cummins did not.
