Great presentation Mark. I’ve been meaning to tell you I really like your intro. It’s got good music and a rather nice bit of scenery. I’m not much for commenting but keep it up with the information and educational vids and I’ll keep watching.
That is way more advanced than the LED light I recently bought - it's amazing the way technology has come on in the last few years. Even 3-4 years ago when I had the shop the LED lights available were either total crap or decent and super expensive.
I picked up the large one today and it on it’s own is more powerful than the 3 T8 bulbs I originally had. Also the fitting can be screwed or glued to the hood and lamp simple clips in from above.

Bought one of these yesterday for Roma 200, over the moon with it so far, I will never go back to tubes..the difference it makes is well worth the expense.
@@markc76 bloody hell that doesn't sound good, have you been in contact with fluval, I did actually worry at just how long they would work considering how long they burn for each day.
@@roarrringjones2096 no i haven't mate. I do run the light a lot, it's on for a good 14 hours a day sometimes. Maybe I've burnt it out ? My phone was recognising it's presence on bluetooth, but it's refusing to pair. The light went into a weird light mode last night when i switched it to fade out mode. I'm guessing that the light is beyond repair
@@markc76 might be worth getting in touch with fluval. I did worry myself before buying the light just how long it would really burn or work for, as much as I love the light I think I might just use it for sunrise and sunset and use the tube inbetween.

I have kept it under the hood and it's always been wet. But i can't see any signs of water getting into the unit. I'll definitely get in touch with fluval though and see if i can get a repair

Yay just ordered 48" for my 55gallon! As cool/relaxing as the lightening storm would be for us, I can't help but think it would be startling to the fishies!
cool, i bought a chinese one on amazon 3 months ago, i dropped it 2 times in the water and the third time messed it up, it s now just flashing... i m thinking about this one. can you use it as a sunrise alarm clock? tank is in my bedroom.
New to LED lights. Trying to understand this concept mate. Do I just program it once and it runs what I said to do even if I am not there with my phone or anything. I mean if I go away for a week with my auto feeder taking care of me fish, is the light taking care of me plants? Did this bit of change just come to market? Is it the best they have now at this spend spot?
I've just got one. The white light isn't bright. It looks yellow rather than bright white. Please can you let me know what I can do to fix it? I've got it on manual - pressed the white button and that's the colour I got that's just too dim for my goldfish. I'm really disappointed with it so far to be honest 😕
i just picked up the 36 inch one..puts out great light but the app wont connect to it so i cant change it or program it ..the app does see the light just wont connect.. hoping someone can help me figure out why or if its just a defective unit

Hi I have fluval Roma 90 60cm x 35cm x 72cm (L x W x H). I have some soft corals under t8 (30w total) lighting and a couple of Lps. Doing surprisingly well. but looking at new lighting. Do you think 2 of the 16w versions would be enough for my corals? So 32w total. Just worried because fluval themselves say they are fowlr tanks only.

I have a 5’x2’x2’ fresh water aquarium with x 2 fluval lights with remotes. For some unknown reason they now ( well for sometime) have a complete mind if their own and it’s driving me mad. Can someone please help 🙏🙏

Just got mine yesterday. Amazing light.
I have all 3 lengths, 2,3 and 4 ft love them all! They grow all the plants i keep with co2 and at about half the price of the 3.0 you can't beat em!

I know. When i was rearing coral lights where £450 each now they pack all the same tech in to a small light bar for £95.

There's a firmware update that adds PRO mode and sleep-mode, which makes it an even better light. Check it out. ;)

Hi. What % setting would you have the aqua sky on for low to medium aquarium plants? I want to avoid algae if I can. This is a 120cm tank.
Go for 50% and go up or down from there. 😀👍

I think the have their own Bluetooth code so one controller for one light. 😀👍

If you have fish in the tank I'd say no as all creatures need a rest cycle. Try 14 hour cycle instead.
