Hope alls well Bentley. Do you still recommend buldikg up lights for a new tank??? In the first part it does mention this. I took your settings for a 168ltr tank has some depth
These lights are so amazing. After 20 years of no tanks just set up a 75 gallon south american cichlid tank. Bought this light and wow so amazing. The auto mode is so awesome especially for my few plants....great stuff from Fluval like always.
Thank you! Just got this light yesterday and I LOVE LOVE LOVE it! And i was just playing in manual until now that I have your instruction on what to do with auto! My tank is new so I'm hoping this will let me have lights on longer without making an algae mess until I am able to add a pleco.
Another great video. This has got to be the best information on planted tank lighting I have found. I have tried planted tanks inthe past with mixed results, hopefully with the information you provided here I can actually have a successfull high tech tank. In 50 years of aquarium keeping I had never heard of slowly ramping the lights up like you mentioned. I will have to do build pictures as well as status pictures every few weeks to let you know how things work out. Once again thank you so much for posting your videos.
Thank you AGAIN for this educational Fluval video. I had a serious algae problem (staghorn and black hair) and it killed off most of my plants leaving just anubias, crypts and sag. I ended up doing a major takedown, removing all the water, substrate and hardscape. Poured boiling water over the lava rocks and gave them a good scrub (no soap). Of course it didn't remove the black hair algae but it did kill it. Replaced everything and bought some new plants (swords, pogostemon, bacopa). I still have the Fluval set at 50% (no blue) and will keep it there for a little while. After 2 weeks, there is new growth on the plants and no melting. Everything is doing well, no new algae growth, and I've noticed my nerite snails and my honey gourami eating the black hair algae. AWESOME! Your video has saved my tank.
A light that works entirely on a personal preference and not a manufacturers opinion/option is? Now that's a light that has gotten my vote 1000 times over! To help reduce the stress in a little water buddy is what it's really all about!
Bentley, this series has been so helpful! I wish I would have seen them sooner! If you have time, here’s been my struggle/mistakes… I started out with my 29 gallon tank I’d say, moderately planted. I have the light sitting 3-4” above the tank. I used too strong of light at 80% and it took me until more recently to realize I was also starving my plants (0 nitrates). I’ve had algae problems all along. I dialed down my light recently to 60% with a ramp up and down of an hour each, so about 9 1/2 hrs total. Still battling algae. I have medium and low light plants. It’s been running for 4 months, dirted capped with sand, fully stocked (half the fish are still babies), just switched to a fluval 207 canister filter and love it. I use thrive and aquarium coop fert products, 20% water change every week sometimes 2. Do you think I’m ok where I’m at to correct my problems or would you have any suggestions to add?
I would try dosing your liquid ferts as 1 pump every other day. Let's spread the nutrients out over the week and help the plants continuously have something to feed on to grow and combat the algae.

THANK YOU for this! A few years ago, I bought one of these lights and just used the Plant option on it. Within a couple of weeks I was overgrown with an algae bloom! I ended up sticking this light in the closet and going back to my old one. Decided to give it another try and watched your video. Now I know what settings to start with! 29 gal tall planted with anubias, some sag and pogostemon.

Great Videos ! I'm so glad I found them before I got my lights. I have a 30gal with the 36" light and set it to your recommended starting settings. I also got a Fluval Plant Nano for a 2 1/2gal Fluval Betta (actual 3gal), 12" deep. I set it to your recommended small tank starting settings also, but you never stated if the settings were for the Fluval Nano light or maybe the smaller Fluval Plant. What would be the highest setting for the Nano on the Fluval Betta tank ? Both tanks are set to 10 hours. I have all moderate light plants. Anubias, Java Ferns, Amazon Swords with no CO2. I just started using Aquarium Co-Op Easy Green and Easy Root Tabs. I haven't had much luck with plants and I'm hoping all this helps. I've learned so much already watching just a couple of your videos. VERY well produced. Thank you so much!
Thank you Bentley for your excellent tutorials on the Fluval 3.0. I recently purchased one and am looking forward to programming and playing with the settings.

Very complete series, I bought a Fluval Plant from someone that was getting the 3.0 and i love it. I will be getting a 3.0 eventually i am sure of that
This video is super helpful, been running this light for over a year. I have a 75 gallon African tank with Java and Anubis. I use the Malawi setting. I not had much success with the plants, they stay small and get brown edges. What sort of settings would you recommend for this kind of tank?
Talk about easy to operate. I started in auto mode and I couldn't believe how simple it is. I bought a Hygger originally and that was not fun setting it up for what I wanted. In fact I had to send 3 of the lights back because they didn't work correctly. So I decided on the Fluval. You can't even compare Hygger to Fluval, Fluval is miles ahead.
Just purchased three lights from the COOP! I use these already on a Dart Frog terrarium and Crested Gecko terrarium, and they grow plants awesome above water! So now for the aqua pets! Thanks!
Great video. It’s going to be a while still before I can justify getting a 3.0, but when I do, I’ll come right back here to dial in the starting point.
This was so informative and I am grateful. ☺️ Thank you once again! I’m one of those that doesn’t like yellow tint so less warm but I made the mistake of adding too much blue to counter that. Of course I’ve toned that WAY down since your first video. 👍
I just bought the fluval 3.0 i definitely like it but i also have a finnex 24/7 and i can control the color spectrum and use it on a schedule with the remote. The fluval definitely has better settings for the light on the app with out question. Just thought it was fair to mention that u can control the different colors on the finnex 24/7.
I'm not totally in love with the strong yellow that overwhelms the tank ....if I adjust the yellow down...will this negatively effect my plants. My set up is a high energy set up with co2
Love your video Bently. Im still waiting for my light to show up in the mail. But after watching your two videos I can't wait to play with my new toy. I have dreams at night about this light. Im scared someone mite rip it off in the mail. They ship it with everyone knowing what it is. But thanks again!! Keep up the good work. Cant wait for another toy to play with. 👍💖
You hoping fluval will send you a bunch of lights. 🤔 just kidding I've had two 48" fluvals for about 4 years now and just found out about pro mode because of your videos I love to hear everything you know it has helped me thank you! Heck they should send you a few.
Hey Bentley! Love your content! I have this light and am going to set up a planted aquarium (75 gallon) with java fern & Anubias (Low light) plants. What Auto mode settings/percentages would you recommend?
I would start at 50% for the whites, 35% for pink and 5% blue. Monitor for algae and adjust if needed. If plants are showing issues that are light related we can dial it up, but if there's too much algae and plants are doing okay then we can dial it down some.
Quality video once again Ive recently got my light and are looking forward to the pro review 👍 mastered the auto thanks to yourself keep up the great work ! All the best
I don't have the space for anything beyond a 5gal portrait from marineland. However, fluvals's nano light is perfect for it! It has been fun figuring out stuff. Thanks for all these videos!
Just purchased a 12 gallon long, it's 35.5 "x 8.25 " width x 9.5"height. Obviously very shallow. Will be fully /heavily planted. I'm using the 36-48" 46 watt model of the fluval 3.0 which sounds very overkill. Will be placed directly on tank /no risers etc. Are you thinking perhaps 50 whites, 40 red, 3 blue? Or even less? No c02 injection/low tech but still adding all the nutrients etc.
Looking forward to the new pro mode. I'd kind of like sunset to be more red, and am hoping for some guidance on whether a break midday is good for the plants too.
Hi I have set the lights up just need to no do I need to keep my phone near the tank or if I leave the home will the lights still work with the phone away from the tank as it is blue tooth
Once you save a program on the light it will continue to remember it as long as it has power. If the light loses power it will forget what time it is and then you just need to quickly sync it back up with your phone and you're good to go.
You stated that you have your system set for an additional 3 hours per day for allowing daylight and sunset to occur. Wouldn't the extra 3 hours per day be a concern for algae growth when the lights should only be on for 8 hours?
I enjoy watching your video next month I will be getting 125 gallon fish tank it will have low to medium plants fish and drift wood I would like to get this light but I don’t know what size I need or do I need two get of lights
Literally the best review/ tutorial on these lights I’ve seen. I’ve just purchased the 32w version for my 90ltr tank it’s not setup yet as I’m awaiting delivery of my co2 system, as a rough estimate what settings would you recommend for me, tank is 60x40x40 cm lights will be around 14/15 inch from substrate, heavily planted using co2 and nutrient rich substrate I’m looking to carpet with either DHG or micranthium Monte Carlo at the front of tank.
Great vids thanks for taking the time 👍 What % would you set 2 of them (59w version) over a 100 gallon? Lights are 21” from top of substrate Using co2 Thanks for any advice 👍
Bentley, please help me out with Fluval Plant 3.0 settings. I have a planted 10g tank. 3" riser on the light. Couple Anubias, quite a few Java Ferns, lots of Buce, Ludwiga Super Red, and Alternanthera Reineckii. No Co2. Nothing planted in substrate (all grafted to rock or driftwood). And I use Thrive and Excel. Thanks!
I would start in auto mode, 1.5 hour sunrise and sunset. Daylight for 6 hours. Set to white (warm, pure and cool) 50%, pink 30%, blue 5%. Monitor growth vs algae and tinker from there
Trying to grow wisteria, dwarf sag, bacopa, and moneywort in my 75. I’ve got Co2 injected at about 30ppm, do you think I could go 100% with the whites on this light? I’m at 90% currently and dealing with some fuzz algae on my plants and glass but I believe that’s due to lack of macronutrients. Plants seem to be growing but very slowly. Tropica ferts were low in macros so I’m switching to easy green to hopefully increase growth and beat out the algae!
Would these suggested settings be for a low tech (no co2), or more high tech (co2, dosing)? Trying to find best settings to start with on 55 gallon low tech. Great videos, thanks for making them.
I have a 20 long - 36x12x12 - low tech tank heavily planted but add root tabs, iron, potassium, excel and flourish weekly (excel daily) I've been running 75 % pink, 7% blue, 20% cold white, 75% pure white, and 75% warm white. Found online to keep cold white lower - have minimal surface algae but need some for my plecos and Otos, scrape front glass once every two weeks and that's it - I only started looking into settings again because I recently raised the light from surface about 4 inches (I had minor dark spots /could see fish colors less visible at top edges of tank etc). I was looking to see if I should increase lighting % to compensate for raising the light but after seeing this second guessing raising it and considering raising only cold white to match 75% - P.s. I have a glass cover to minimize evaporation which probably effects the light a bit/ also I have cats
I would monitor it for a couple weeks and as long as you don't see any negative impact I would not mess with the light at all. If you do see maybe plants reaching a little more for the lights or not. Looking quite as great in their color after say 2 weeks, then I would just increase the white and pink by about 5%
I have a fluvel led running and have brilliant plants my God it's like the Amazon jungle submerged but have had hair algae from time to time I think the blue was way too high I've dropped it down after seeing the vids I've started a 2nd new tank and will follow this start up with my fluvel number 2 trying to balance light fish algae step by step im in no rush
Thanks for the video :). I have a question. I want to buy the Eheim Proxima clear tank 27.5 x 19.7 x 19.7 inch. Would I need one or two fluval plant lights?
This depends 100% on your plants, if you have fast growers you can push max light, if it's mostly crypts and low demand, you might want to do less light.
Question for you: How does the time get set in the light and what happens when the power fails? i.e. does the light forget the time of day after a power failure and revert back to a specific time when the power comes back on?
When you connect it reads time from your phone. At loss if power, when power returns it assumes it is midnight (0 hour) and runs it's program from there
Thanks again for this series! great Information. I've got, um, a few, more than a few of these lights. They hit the sweet spot between the rediculously expensive lights like ADA and the cheapo lights that either don't last or don't grow plants well. I haven't seen a light with better controls. Like the informercial says- set it (well, maybe adjust it a bit over the first weeks/months to your tank needs) and forget it!
Hello Bentley. I really appreciate your videos. You explain things well. I have a 75-gallon with the entire top covered in big water lettuce with roots extending 8-12 inches. On the bottom are large Anubias, and two lily bulbs. My old light I had on Red light 8 am - 5 pm, White light noon to 9 pm, Blue light 9 pm to 6 am. But I wonder how strong were those lights compared to the Fluval %s. I am extending the blue light setting to run throughout the night as my plants are used to it. I don't know if I should do it at 20%/50%/100%. What do you think?
What I would do in your case because you're changing lights entirely is kind of use your eyes to gauge. So I would turn on the old light and look to see about how bright my daytime setting is. Then turn on the fluval and begin playing with the light settings until you get something that visually to your eye looks like similar level of brightness of light. You can then do this the same for each night setting if that's what you plan to do. I know this isn't a perfect scenario or it's not like scientific but if we can tell by our eyes roughly how bright something is and compare the two lights it should be relatively close enough to give us a pretty satisfactory difference in overall light power but getting us to a slightly better or more controllable spectrum out of the fluval.
@@BentleyPascoe I've been going with the eye test. The other light died. It was an Aquatic Life. I think this is my second or third one of those and they have died a few years after purchasing them. It looks like my plants have started to grow again, but my water lettuce started dying off in a matter of days.
@@BentleyPascoe So I think my plants are growing. But the water lettuce directly under the light is a little yellow. The water lettuce not directly under the light is green. I was thinking maybe too much light? But I'm not sure if it's too much red or too much blue. What do you think?
I have a 31" tall Paludarium, with 20" from top is non-water, lower 11" is water and substrate. 46 watt Fluval light on tank. Very often in your videos you mention height of tank. Do I use 31" as this height, or is this measurement intended to be the water depth, in my case about 9". Light going through air has very different parameters than light going through water is why I ask. My focus at this point is the underwater plant health.
Hi Bentley I purchased 2 Fluval Plantl 3.0 for my ADA 90P tank (36x18x18) . I need your advise, should I use 1 strip with higher intensity (eg. 70%) or 2 strips with lower intensity (eg.45%)? I was just thinking perhaps 2 strips should cover the area better. Thanks
If you have to, I would use two. Just keep in mind that you'll want to start a little lower and also depending on the plants you're going to use will depend on whether you need to push that intensity a little higher over time or keep it relatively low.
@@BentleyPascoe Hi Bentley, thanks for the reply. Im still learning with color spectrum settings. I read many articles, some say we need blue spectrum as much as red for plant growth (as much as 65% blue and red) and they dont seem to have problem with algae. This is the opposite of what I learnt from you which is as little as possible for blue ( 5%). Could you please explain the reason? Thanks
@@kc.collects3334 I and a number of others have observed higher rates of algae, especially Black Beard Algae when pushing blue to higher levels inside a tank.
Do you prefer your pro mode day sim or your auto settings here? I have been using your initial 1.5 rise and set from 7-6 (about a month now) but have been battling different forms of algae. I recently replanted a large portion of the tank so the plants are still young. I am using excel as a crutch until the plants grow in a little stronger. Unsure if I should reduce the photoperiod with this auto setting or give the pro settings a shot.
Curious now with the new auto mode. Do you really recommend Auto and doing the simple settings vs using the pro mode and say your day sim mode? Which i already have saved... 😊
@@BentleyPascoe I duplicated one of your modes 😁. On the auto mode I'm trying to figure out how much light is to much and when I should have sunset kick in. I have a 90gal. And currently have my tank on a 2hr sunrise. And than a 3hr sunset sunset ting at 8pm and than sleep at 835pm "moon" for 35 minutes 1% blue light only.
I think it can do a reasonable job to give you medium and like low light at the very very bottom of the tank it depends on the type of plants you're trying to keep. If you're looking to have some super high tech plants you probably want to. If you're keeping more along the lines of things like Amazon swords, Anubias, Java Fern these are all going to do fine with just one light.
Thank you. There are all the plants that you mentioned. My brother gave me a white and blue light beamswork. The light that you called the discus light 😆.
If I'm running Co2 on the schedule you recommend (40 Breeder), should I start/stop the Co2 injection with sunrise/sunset or with the main 8 hour lighting period?
I have two 48” Fluval Plant 3.0 on my 90 aquarium. They work great, but I was concerned about having too much light output on this aquarium. Bentley, what do you think?
Depends on planting and if you use co2, the simple way to look at it is this: are you getting a ton of algae? Too much light. Not much manageable/expected amounts of algae on glass/rock/wood then you're doing fine.
Help! I have a 10 gallon with 3 anubias and a fair amount of Pogostemon Stellatus Octopus. I am having algae issues not bad but they are covering my pogos and they are starting to look sad. I readjusted my lights to this setting.. Sunrise 8-10 daylight pink at 15 blue at 1 all whites at 20 sunset is at 16-18 no night is that a good setting for my 10 gallon?
What do you suggest my max be for this tank? I liked the lights higher cause the tank looked nice and bright instead of dim. Thanks for all the advice. 🤗
@@CheriseBarbe-cs1bv I would think those settings should be ok, is this tank near a window? How many fish are in it? What's your testing look like? Water change schedule? There's a lot that can go into working on algae control. Shoot me an email and I'll try to help: bentley.pascoe@gmail.com
When you set your whites, blues, pink and cool whites in auto mode such as i have running 100% white as i am only growing java moss on red dragon stone, is that what your sunrise, sunset and day time stiings will be as well? I am kinda lost with the sunrise & sunset settings as I am setting the sunset & sunrise start and end times as my weather forecast states when sunrise (time) occurs and sunet time for my city
@@BentleyPascoe you mean sunset is ramp down? Sunrise is ramp up also in pro mode when setting your time slots, do the times sync with the time on your device? I'm sorry what colors get you the beautiful sunset colors? Do you have a screen shot of those? Thanks!
Here's the screen shots of my settings featured in this video: imgur.com/a/TqnMnza
Thanks for those. Did I miss why you said you run your red lower than your whites? Is that preference, or are you noticing growth issues?
@@-8_8- general preference, no growth issues. I've tested higher red and the only difference I saw was taller, lankier growth in some stems.

Great video! What length would you recommend for a 33 long tank? 48x12x12.
Thanks
48" if possible
Very, very helpful!!
Thank you!
Until I found your settings to start with I was spending 2 -250 every other week on plants I have had the same plants for a while now ty
...money to blow i guess
The best light hands down. Just bought a second one 😎
Love the enthusiasm and the content. Pretty sure my mind is made up on the light I want. Yes, yes, yes. Thanks again for the info.
I'm not totally in love with the strong yellow that overwhelms the tank
....if I adjust the yellow down...will this negatively effect my plants. My set up is a high energy set up with co2
It shouldn't.
I love the sunrise and sunset features, thanks for sharing such a great tips!
Your settings were so great that I skipped the auto mode directly. Now, I am testing blue light at 20%... we'll see the result...
I would start a bit lower first and monitor
@@BentleyPascoe so like 40 whites 30 red or 30 whites 20 red?
@@ryanshea6141 40/30 seems like a good starting point
Looking forward to the new pro mode. I'd kind of like sunset to be more red, and am hoping for some guidance on whether a break midday is good for the plants too.
Did you ever find a setting or anything to get the more red sunset?
Hi I have set the lights up just need to no do I need to keep my phone near the tank or if I leave the home will the lights still work with the phone away from the tank as it is blue tooth
Once you save a program on the light it will continue to remember it as long as it has power. If the light loses power it will forget what time it is and then you just need to quickly sync it back up with your phone and you're good to go.
Thanks for the video. Great info
You stated that you have your system set for an additional 3 hours per day for allowing daylight and sunset to occur.
Wouldn't the extra 3 hours per day be a concern for algae growth when the lights should only be on for 8 hours?
"should" is a suggestion. When you get your balance down, you can go longer.
I enjoy watching your video next month I will be getting 125 gallon fish tank it will have low to medium plants fish and drift wood I would like to get this light but I don’t know what size I need or do I need two get of lights
Typically on 6ft tanks I suggest 2 36" lights for low-med light demand plants
Well done. Really enjoyed this Video.
Thank you for all this amazing information.
Thank you for your help 😊
Literally the best review/ tutorial on these lights I’ve seen. I’ve just purchased the 32w version for my 90ltr tank it’s not setup yet as I’m awaiting delivery of my co2 system, as a rough estimate what settings would you recommend for me, tank is 60x40x40 cm lights will be around 14/15 inch from substrate, heavily planted using co2 and nutrient rich substrate I’m looking to carpet with either DHG or micranthium Monte Carlo at the front of tank.
Either auto high light (taller tank version) or full day sim. Those carpets really love that higher volume of light.
Thanks I’ll Rev the bugger up then when I get planted👍
Great vids thanks for taking the time 👍
What % would you set 2 of them (59w version) over a 100 gallon?
Lights are 21” from top of substrate
Using co2
Thanks for any advice 👍
100% all whites, blue 15% pink 85%
@@BentleyPascoe thank you appreciate it :D
Keep up the GREAT work! You are potentially saving the lives of millions of poor plants worldwide 🙏🏻
Can't wait for Petco to ship my light out. I got it from them because with my award points I got the 170 dollar one for 100.
Monitor growth vs algae and tinker from there
Still fighting green/brown algae. Am I still giving too much light for this tank?!
@@justinrandall609 keep in mind fighting off algae naturally takes time. It's about slow and careful adjustments to steadily get things on track
Settings for a low tech 36 bowfront?
Trying to grow wisteria, dwarf sag, bacopa, and moneywort in my 75. I’ve got Co2 injected at about 30ppm, do you think I could go 100% with the whites on this light? I’m at 90% currently and dealing with some fuzz algae on my plants and glass but I believe that’s due to lack of macronutrients. Plants seem to be growing but very slowly. Tropica ferts were low in macros so I’m switching to easy green to hopefully increase growth and beat out the algae!
I think you'd be ok going 100%
Excellent Videos!
Would these suggested settings be for a low tech (no co2), or more high tech (co2, dosing)? Trying to find best settings to start with on 55 gallon low tech. Great videos, thanks for making them.
The higher light one works with CO2, lower settings without CO2
Man, I wish you had this type of review on the Aquaillumination HD Primes
Maybe in the future.
I was looking to see if I should increase lighting % to compensate for raising the light but after seeing this second guessing raising it and considering raising only cold white to match 75% -
P.s. I have a glass cover to minimize evaporation which probably effects the light a bit/ also I have cats
I would monitor it for a couple weeks and as long as you don't see any negative impact I would not mess with the light at all. If you do see maybe plants reaching a little more for the lights or not. Looking quite as great in their color after say 2 weeks, then I would just increase the white and pink by about 5%
@@BentleyPascoe I appreciate the help, tutorial and quick response. Also, go hawks!
Just got this light, do you know where to find the 3 presets that they advertise ??
They should be present when you select export in auto mode.
Amazing video thank you…
Thank you so much for this! Sooo helpful. :)
I’d like to understand the Sleep mode better.
Thanks for the video :). I have a question. I want to buy the Eheim Proxima clear tank 27.5 x 19.7 x 19.7 inch. Would I need one or two fluval plant lights?
One of you suspend or raise it
@@BentleyPascoe thanks!
Best video I have seen ,my question is how many lights should i use in my 175 galon tank ,im trying to grow planted for beginnig to medium
Depends on tank dimensions, might only need 2
@@BentleyPascoe thanks almost was ready to purchase 4
@@Lifechino4 you might want 4 if the tank is tall and over 18" front to back, depends on how you plant too
@@BentleyPascoe ok thank ,Happy holiday
What is the best setting for a fluval flex 15 that is planted.
Appreciate the knowledge
Will this light work on a tank that’s 24 high?
@@LiseWolfe yes, but I would expect maximum light levels to be medium light for most plants.
Thanks - I can’t seem to keep anything alive in this deep tank😢
Water depth is more important due to defraction.
Thanks!
Hi Bentley
I purchased 2 Fluval Plantl 3.0 for my ADA 90P tank (36x18x18) .
@@BentleyPascoe Appreciate your quick reply. I will stick with low intensity blue. Great work with such informative videos! 👍
Hi Bentley so when I do a dry start can I have them on max ?
You should be able to
Do you prefer your pro mode day sim or your auto settings here? I have been using your initial 1.5 rise and set from 7-6 (about a month now) but have been battling different forms of algae. I recently replanted a large portion of the tank so the plants are still young. I am using excel as a crutch until the plants grow in a little stronger. Unsure if I should reduce the photoperiod with this auto setting or give the pro settings a shot.
Try the pro
@@BentleyPascoe Appreciate it. have a wonderful week!
Which setting would you say is better for anubias and java fern?
The low light setting.
Using this light , with the app settings , can I throw my plug in timer , 🤔
If you adjust the app settings to account for losing power
Curious now with the new auto mode. Do you really recommend Auto and doing the simple settings vs using the pro mode and say your day sim mode? Which i already have saved... 😊
I think for most users, auto is all you need, but if pro mode is already working, stick to it
@@BentleyPascoe I duplicated one of your modes 😁.
@@MrRickyb81 I would have 6 hours of "daylight" with that timing.
Hello Bentley. Is 1 fluval 3.0 plenty of light for my 90 gallon discus tank? Thank you Jimmy.
Start Co2 as sunrise starts, stop co2 as sunset begins.
C02 on 1 to 2hr before lights on and off, that way your water is loaded and ready for plants to use it.
So auto mode eliminates the need for a light timer?
Correct!
This seems like a decent start. What was it at before?
25 all white 1 blue and 20 pink.
Email sent thanks 🤗
When you set your whites, blues, pink and cool whites in auto mode such as i have running 100% white as i am only growing java moss on red dragon stone, is that what your sunrise, sunset and day time stiings will be as well? I am kinda lost with the sunrise & sunset settings as I am setting the sunset & sunrise start and end times as my weather forecast states when sunrise (time) occurs and sunet time for my city
Sunrise is a ramp up, it will go from 0 to whatever your setting is (100% in this case) and sunrise is the ramp down.
@@BentleyPascoe you mean sunset is ramp down? Sunrise is ramp up also in pro mode when setting your time slots, do the times sync with the time on your device? I'm sorry what colors get you the beautiful sunset colors? Do you have a screen shot of those? Thanks!

I remember the good ol days when I had to to tinker with auto to get a good siesta so I could see my tank before and after work.
