Cash back on GetUpside is based on whatever credit card you attach to your account. So, if you are paying with your credit card, the cash back would go into your GetUpside account. For more specifics on what’s allowed, I’d check with GetUpside in their terms and conditions.

Hello, Christina! I'm the first time to use app and don't know how to do. When I arrived at the gas station, I pressed check-in, and then I started pumping for fill-up in 19 minutes before expiring. Right?
It can take a few days to process. Did it ask you to scan a receipt or pay with your linked card

I have a question. I’m a truck driver I pump 60 gallons a day but on the app it says the limit it’s 50 so does that mean if I pump over 50 gallons I won’t get nothing back because I pass the 50 gallons?
My guess is you’d get the 50 and then nothing more after you hit the limit. Have you tried it?
@@SavingwithChristina we’ll have got up to 60 gallons and then it says we got an issue. Then I never get nothing so I guess I’m going to try to keep it on 50 or under.

I've been claiming offers since the 24th of the month on 50+ gallons. I drive a semi, so I use plenty of fuel...but I have yet to earn any cash back ?
That seems very odd. What does it tell you in the app under your history? I’d email their customer support to see what’s going on.

When I'm at more info and claim offer and I click more info itshows how much the gas offer is and that's it. What do I do to get to the next screen?
After you hit “claim offer” you put gas in your vehicle and pay with your attached card
It says more info and the other tab says daily maximum reached. I put in my card info but it keeps bringing me back to daily activity reached and the gas station I input

It does not work with cash-only purchase. You have to use a credit card.

I’m unaware of a phone number (although you could search for one online). There is, however, a “contact us” function within the app.

I’ve never used cashapp, so I’m unfamiliar with their system. GetUpside allows you at add payment methods in “my wallet.” It asks for the first 6 and last 4 of your card. Would cashapp have numbers like that to enter? If so, you could try it out

@@carlkpsplucky5554 depends on how much you buy fuel i do 110 miles every day 5 days a week thats 2200 a month thats 26400 miles a year JUST for work i get about 13 mpg so that makes about 2031 gallons a year in diesel at an average of 22 cents a gallon that's about $447 a year rounding up to the nearest $

Hmmm. I don’t see why it wouldn’t. But if you’re getting reimbursed for the gas from your company, it might not be allowed.

I made 4 gas transactions using this app abd I only got reimbursed for one. I am using a gas card that I added to my wallet I figured I shouldn't have any problems. Do some gas transactions take time to get reimbursed?

Wait. It recognizes I used my debit card? So that means it actually is able to gain access to my banking to see if it’s been used at the location. That’s really sketchy. I installed this earlier today and watched your video to see if I did this wrong. My history has 3 separate things for my 1 gas transaction but they all say processing, like 7 hours later. Does the gas purchase have to stop pending in my bank and actually post before this will be completed?
Mine will say processing for a bit before the money comes through.
@@SavingwithChristina I did notice it says my balance is now $8.52 but it’s weird because I filled up the gas tank once and under history it shows (for the same transaction) 2 more pending, which I don’t get.
Ooooh I was about to delete the app because I wasn’t getting cash back but then realized I was clicking check in after I got gas oops>_< I’ll try it again the right way next time😅

I’m not sure you actually have to click it. Just check in, pay with card and it gives you the credit back

I don’t believe there is a daily max
I believe it's a certain amount of cents per gallon. Not the amount of gallons. The better the offer ($ back) the more you will get reimbursed for that tank.
Only fill your tank to 50 gallons...then re-enter the app and reclaim that same offer and continue filling your tank. It only does 50 gallons at a time
Does this app give you money back at Walmart
Have tried to cash out of get upside and have not been able to. It won't link my bank account so I thought I would do paypal and I can't get to cash out there either.
Each tome I try it sends me to verify my email nut then it says open the link but it does not provide one.

What doesn’t seem right? It’s a regular cash back app. I’ve gotten enough back to make it worth it to me to use it. You’ll have to make that decision if it’s right for you.

What makes you say “no one knows anything.” I’m assuming there are 1000s of users who would say they know a little about it. Are you clicking “claim” and then nothing happens?
I was cheated from getting my cashback on four transactions. The app is waste of time and storage space on your phone. Never got 25 cents off per gallon on gas. Will not recommend the app. Have to register your card.

I don’t have grocery offers in my state yet. But I do have restaurant offers. Super simple process like the gasoline. Just click that you want to redeem and then pay with your card that’s linked.

@@SavingwithChristina I finally just gave up on it. I stopped using it and deleted it from my apps. It was nothing but a headache. Those pending as turned into “not enough information” I mean not in those words, but basically they weee denied. I set up the whole thing correctly, I did every step that was required. I also reached out to the support team and although they replied quickly. They still never helped or gave helpful information other than “it can take up to 15days” and so I waited 15 plus days and was still getting denied. Finally the last straw was the email telling me I didn’t earn points because of such and such reason (not enough proof)! I reached out again complained and all I got back was “were sorry, we can help if you send a photo of recipe or screenshots of your bank account transactions”
Where I live we get a lot of traveler’s and the receipt paper is always out which means I would have to see cashier but wait in a line that would take me 20-30 min to even get to the cashier. I’m not going to waste time going into a store waiting in line for a piece of paper nor am I going to take and send screenshots of my bank transactions. So I just gave up and deleted everything all together the app was just a waste of time. But thank you for commenting back😁

I only use cash for everyday items like gas, food and eating out. There is no groceries stores showing up on the app. So, can I go to me favorite store and use this app? And how will I get to post what I buy? it seems This app is of no use to me.
Groceries aren’t in every area yet. And I think you have to have a cards linked for most of the gas and restaurant offers.

Sadly it's not relevant in all areas. I just loaded the app to get gas and no stations in the area participate. And i live in NJ which is densely populated.

I'm in NJ also and noticed that the closest one to me is in PA! I'm not paying $5 to cross the bridge to get gas that I'll use up by the time I get back lol. However, I have a feeling this will work when we go on vacation to South Carolina since it will pull up locations as we're traveling.
The UPSIDE Ad says that they got $200 back for buying gas. Wow what a joke. Let's look at this. If they got 10 cent back per gallon of gas, which is typical, they would have to buy 2000 gallons of gas. 2000 x $2.39 per gallon is $4780.00. If the typical MPG is 25, they they would have to drive 50,000 miles before they would use the 2000 gallons. The government says we average 1250 miles per month, then to travel that 50,000 mile would take 40 months! ALSO, if you use any other source of discount for gas, such as grocery store promotions, then the UPSIDE APP WON"T ALLOW THE DISCOUNT! So, when you get that $2.35 in your account, UPSIDE is using your money because most people don't ask for that low amount. Sounds like a good plan to me... NOT!

Simple? Didn’t work for me. My mistake is I seen nowhere about getting a receipt. Pump card reader wasn’t working so I went in & paid without getting a receipt. I claimed the discount before taking off for home & nothing was said about the refund or scanning the receipt until I got home I wasn’t too happy about chasing after $5. What a PITA. CC is on file too & still no $ back. Scam
It’s sounds like you had a frustrating first experience. But I can assure you it’s not a “scam,” as I would not promote such a thing. Not every app is the right fit for every person. Perhaps you give it another try and keep your receipt to submit or just decide this isn’t the right cash back app for you. I use it frequently with no issues

I assumed the cash back was instant. I got email notification 24 hours later I got rewards from my first visit so I have a different attitude now. I hope there’s no surprises with fees.

When you state,"...and the cash back comes to your account"... I thought you meant my credit card account. I had to rewind and play your video segment again to confirm because later in your video you talk about how you can cash out for gift cards. That's when I got confused. I thought, "Why am I cashing out for a gift card when "the cash back comes to your account." I'm a new GETUPSIDE user and the cash back GOES into your GETUPSIDE account NOT your credit card account. You should state that to confirm clarity.
