Wondering for example when shopping at a Dollar General or Walgreens and also have their apps to receive their instore coupon incentives and also use Ibotta . do you just link accounts and shop from ibotta, or would you use the stores app and then just go back to ibotta and check what you purchased and then scan receipt? Does that make sense??

I’ve never added credit card info. Not sure of any benefit to that.

Sometimes they have offers for fruits and veggies or other healthier type brands.

How do you handle electronic receipts, such as in a Walmart grocery pick up?
I’ve never done it, but try this: open app, click redeem, select Walmart. Click option to link your loyalty account and link your Walmart account. See if that works. I’ve only ever submitted physical receipts.
Hello do you have to purchase the item on the store that shows on app like target had all my items but the item shows available on Walmart or dollar get it I purchased on target can I still submit the receipt and get the cash back thanks
If you click into the store it lists everything that qualifies, some won't work at other stores and sometimes other stores might have a different deal for the same items. So maybe target has $3 back on a 57ct tide pods and maybe walgreens doesn't have any offers for them and maybe walmart is buy 2 get $6 back on the same one. Just have to double check and read the full details. If you click on the item/offer itself it will show how many you need to buy or what the limit is and what size products qualify and any exclusions, then below that a list of stores the offer is good for.

You can. You just have to make sure you add the offers before you submit your receipt.

in the video you mentioned that you have to have $20 to remove the money? Is that for your first 20 or is that for every dollar that you get through Ibotta? Like you can only remove it in $20 or more increments?
Awesome! $20 or more to cash out to PayPal OR you can cash out to gift cards at a lower dollar amount.

I assume Walmart doesn't work this way bc at least when I shop @Walmart thru the Ibotta app for grocery pickup, my purchases are automatically submitted to Ibotta.

Yes you can use coupons- there’s currently only a few offers at Walmart that state you can’t combine with coupons. Just read the offer to double check

I gave it as favorites and selected and purchased items Help
Say it only pick of 1 of the 3 that you purchased. And when you go back to verify that offer it not there for me to clip to correct the amount .

As long as you get a scannable receipt that you can submit to Ibotta! I’ve never seen them have issues with how the items were paid for.

When you use a loyalty card do you scan the actual card at the store, or do you scan your cell phone .
Personally, I use the card or my phone number
Just got home with a Walmart receipt of $300+ on stuff. How do I scan my receipt. Was i suppose to scan everything while I was inside the store before i paid them. I am so confused. Hopefully I learn how this works on this video 🥳
Clip the offers you are planning to redeem and then scan the receipt. The video should help a lot :)

It depends on the app. You have to read each individual offer to see if there are exclusions

I signed up for Ibotta just yesterday and I'm having issues redeeming offers for Target. I noticed they don't have the option to upload a receipt. I have my Target account linked, but I don't see my most recent in-store purchase confirmed on Ibotta. Do you know what the issue could be?
If you unlink your target account, you can upload a receipt. That’s how I’ve always done it with target.

Yes. If you open the app and select the store you want to shop at. Let’s say, Target. You will see a little list looking icon. Click that and it will show you the items you’ve selected that you want to buy.

How do you upload a receipt from a Shipt purchase without having to print out a receipt?
Thi was a good watch! Question: I use Fetch and I can scan just any reciept. With Ibotta you can only scan reciepts that have bonus offers?
Only receipts with offers. But that includes some “any offers”. Like “any receipt” “any mustard” etc

No. I don’t think so.
Walmart goes completely based off of barcode scanning at the bottom of the receipt, though

Just have 2 questions if ya don’t mind…
1.)Can an individual submit the same receipt across multiple apps like Ibotta and fetch..etc?
2.)If one earns a significant amount, does the individual have to claim or submit any of these earnings during tax time?
1) it depends on the app. You have to read each offer. Swagbucks and checkout51 do not allow you to combine.
2) I’m not an accountant, but I believe the only taxable income is if you have referral income over a certain amount.

Very informative video. Thanks, but I do have a question. I recently bought some detergent. On the offered it says limited of 5 so I purchased 5. Yes I did scan to make sure they were on rebate. But now when I submit my receipt, it only shows up as 1 and I am not receiving the full rebate as the totals don't add up. Am I doing something wrong?
When you scan the receipt it’ll pull the offers up. Make sure it is correct before you submit. You can change the quantity if it doesn’t recognize the correct quantity. It’ll often have you scan the item again when you do that.

If I forget to choose the items ahead of time but already want to use IBOTTA, get home and have my receipt, can I do I then if the item qualifies...or is it too late? Such as maybe I wouldn't have bought them but I saw the sale, knew they were IBOTTA qualified, then bought it. It seem best to shop Wallmart as otherwise you have to take a picture. You can scan receipt at home after you’ve purchased. You just have to clip the offer before you submit the receipt. No Ssn or dl required.

Ibotta keeps rejecting my receipts saying item has already been discounted. If I buy whole blends at CVS and use a coupon and there is an Ibotta offer can I do both the coupon and the rebate?
Really?!? I’ve never heard of that before. I redeem offers to Ibotta when using coupons all the time. You should be able to (I have and do) but I’ve never heard of that issue before.
Can you scan a 2nd receipt purchased later in the day when products were in & you purchased more product for ibotta limit?

I don’t believe Walgreens/ibotta have this capability yet. Perhaps if enough people reach out to ibotta about it, they might make a change.
Do you have a tutorial on how to find the free after offer products? There use to be a tab to access all “free after offer”. I don’t see it anymore
That tab goes away on occasion. Hopefully it comes back. The only other way I know how is to sort by “best value” or “new offers” but that doesn’t always work.

Each offer shows you which stores the offer is valid at. Some are valid at one store only. Others are valid multiple places.

You have to wait and see if the offer resets to be able to do it again. If it says “limit 5” that means up to 5 on the same receipt.

Make sure you’re PayPal is verified. If you haven’t seen it within the day, email Ibotta customer service to see what’s going on. It doesn’t take long for me. I have recently been cashing out to gift cards to pay for my groceries, but PayPal never took long for me when I used it.

You don’t have to report cash back rebates as income. And, yes, you can cash out to gift cards or to your bank account. Whichever you prefer.

They used to have Ibotta teams. I think they got rid of the team stuff recently (like within the last year).

I would probably start with Ibotta. It’s a solid app with a lot of options at Walmart.

Thank you. Only digital coupons work for online orders.
When purchasing more than one item if you separate transactions will they count as more than 1 unique offer?
More than one of the same item? You wouldn’t want to do that. Once you submit your receipt with the item on it, the offer goes away. Sometimes the offer will come back after 24 hours. And then it would count as a new offer toward a bonus.
@@SavingwithChristina lets say you can redeem more than one item like candy bars. If you buy one at a time on different receipts it’s only considered as one unique offer right?
Yes. Unless it’s an offer you’ve redeemed before and then the offer resets. If it resets, it’s considered a new offer.
I’m new at this just starting today I’m trying to upload a Hannaford receipt but it keeps saying link account which I did but I’m not sure what to do next or how to upload it. I did a DollarGeneral one with no issues. Thank you in advance.
If you link the account you don’t need to upload a receipt. I prefer to unlink and then upload receipts manually

Hmmm. Not sure. Mine doesn’t take long; it’s usually there within the day. Have you verified your email and PayPal account?
Target wont let me reedem my paper coupon. My account is linked to it but failed to receive rewards after purchase
I’d suggest contacting Ibotta. I never link my account because I prefer the ability to scan my receipt.
