I cant even imagine a better voice than the vocaloide
while the glados VA did a great job at sounding robotic, it feels right that an AI should be voiced by a vocaloid. really helps cement the dystopian corporate entity that ficsit seems to be

ADA is so freaking sassy! Cracks me up!
I can't not start in Northern Forest any longer after your playthrough about 1.5 to 2 years back where I played along to learn the game. I just can't say no to 4x pure iron, 2x pure copper, and 2x pure limestone nodes right where you are starting (again).
Although I do miss the nearby 2x pure quartz nodes...
Not only that, but it now has a super computer at the crash nearby(which is operational), instant 21 awesome tickets for the basic necessities from the shop.

I started my own play through last night.
I'm loving the new ADA messages, especially the one about how there's definitely, absolutely, no way to have a portable miner output to a smelter and to stop asking 😂
I got a jumpscare when I picked up a mercer sphere and the message played though! Looking forward to all these new story elements.
Rereshing to play NON Modded and vanilla brings me back, I did notice if you activate Advanced settings u can't get the achievements so now I have 2 new saves going (OCD brain) haha. Love it keep up the great work been looking forward to your new play through.

I know ive played the begining of the game a bajillion times, but this time is probably the most exciting. Ive kept myself from seeing anything about whats been added. Just gonna find out as i go and im so excited
I always put my hub on the plateau with the concrete node so it's out of the way of all the flat areas and has a great view of the little iron factory and the steel factory and the coal power plant across the lake below.

Awesome start, can't wait to get started myself.
One note, each time you say "this" or "over here/there" to demonstrate a location you do a little circle with the mouse, it can be quite nausea inducing if you're not feeling 100%.
i have a similar setup for my biofuel + generators but i put storage for biomass and for biofuel so i can have stock piles of them to run everything while i build everything else
The build gun's strap having physics in the planetfall was unnecessary but insanely cool
I'm very excited for and even a little bit proud of the 1.0 release. Glad to have done my part in participating in early access.
I'm glad they fixed that planet fall sequence with the scanner strap. it use to float for few seconds when you hit reentry then fall as if it hit gravity even though the pod is still falling at high speed. my ocd was acting up. now it falls when the ship actually slowed down. so thanks devs👍

Just missing the 2 pure quartz, 1 caterium, 1 sulphur, also a sulphur has degraded from pure to normal

There's a SAM ore deposit and quartz cave directly east of where you set up your base. It is full of stingers, but it's the closest thing you have.

Great video and content, I watched your stream the past two days. Just some advice, when explaining a section area like the rods, please don't point and then wiggle or jump while showing the layout, it is a bit nauseating and difficult to follow trying to see what you are talking about.

Can you be more specific?
There is currently a coal bug, and it has been fixed internally.. The go-around is to not enter the UI of the coal gen.. If your input is not working, make sure to replace your belt. This fixes it.. If you enter the UI, make sure you have Coal in your inventory, but don't do anything with it. Just leave it in your inventory
