Just as a side note, I find it hilarious that waiting for items to accumulate in the dimensional depot is the mid-game equivalent to the early game hand crafting. I mean we all do it, and of course we're not gonna actually (*gasp*) hand craft them while we wait, and it's probably faster than actually going to pick the stuff up.

Because you have definitely lost all yours.
Water extractors will snap to a pipeline support. It's the easiest way to place them on the grid.
Instead of using foundations with the water pumps, you can hold down ctrl :)
The signals being seperate kinda makes sense, at least to me, if only because my first train lines are always point to point at first
my head hurts, I'm still struggling in phase 2 and it ain't getting better. (am a first time player)
Get Coal power going and redo your starting Iron and copper setup so the Phase 2 parts are easy to make fast
Take it slow, focus on making 1 part at a time.
Don't progress to the next phase before you have automated all the parts.
Don't be afraid to delete stuff you have built if you are not happy with it.
You should delete your stuff several times. So you can ramp up. Build up high and make a lot of space

The alien power plants are crazy power multipliers. 500MW +10% boost to grid total(550MW just by itself) great stepping stone if you do hard drive hunting. Just add getting the loops. 2-3 (1.2-1.95GW) alone cover most power needs early to mid allowing even skipping coal if you want
If you can get 31-32 sloops before coal power, since there is only 110 or so in the game and most of those aren't just lying around easy to get then sure. 10 sloops per augmentor is costly early game
It takes way too many somersloops to be viable in the early game. It takes 10 to make a single one and from what I can tell there seem to only be like 50 in the entire game. That means exploring a huge amount of the map, more than realistic prior to the jetpack.
There are 106 Somersloops. The MAM research tree only consumes 3, so you can build as many as 10 Alien Power Augmenters with 3 Somersloops left over. This is a total of 5.5 GWs, so on paper it works out to potentially skipping coal. Midwits love it when things work out "on paper" but usually can't recognize when they'll fail in reality.
It's not realistic, and not just because of the Somersloops. The APA's also require 50 SAM Fluctuators, 50 Encased Industrial Beams, 25 Motors, and 10 Computers. EACH. If you even CAN gather all of that off the ground, and I'm pretty sure you can't (not enough pipes for the SAM Fluctuators), you could have spent a fraction of the time to just build coal and move on.
@darkehartplays I mean if you really plan on cheesing it, just use somersloops to multiplier animal remains, sink it, and buy parts in the awesome shop. It's extremely overpowered.
@@Skylancer727 Can you even buy parts that you haven't unlocked yet? I don't think I've spent coupons on parts EVER because it seems like I'm paying to skip playing the game, which is counterproductive when I'm enjoying the game.
