Bitz you had SAM ore in the cave right next to you between your coal nodes. Not to mention quartz. Or are you taking the long trip "for the memes"?
Ehhh if you look at the map they are a bit of the same distance from where hes at though the cave is a normal node and easier to get to just dealing with some small spooders.
As the crow or manta fly it may be close. But he had to put in a lot of infra vs just a cave run. I ran quartz and SAM out of the cave early. Future Lemur thanked me
@@TaintedLemur I had a quartz processing plant there in my update 8 save that belted everything outside and up to the above cliff with train and all. I plan to rebuild it only this time it will be a hidden sam plant as well.
I do like stacking a dimensional depot on top of the industrial storage containers since they have 2 outputs.

If you find at least 60 computers while HDD hunting and you collect 11 sloops (might be 1 or two more I forget), you can get yourself a Power Augmenter at T4 Advanced Steel for a free 500MW and 10% boost.
Correct me if I’m wrong but it needs singularities or something not?
@@I-Consume-H20 If you're talking about one of the new late game items, that's only for "empowering" them. They produce 500MW and give a 10% additive boost to your total power per Augmenter without anything.
Now if you mean the SAM Fluctuators those are pretty easy since SAM nodes are around some common locations.
Find yourself 60 Computers, 200 Steel Pipes, 50 Encased Industrial Beam, and 25 Motors at the Hard Drives and you can get a Power Augmenter up as soon as you unlock the MAM in Field Research in T1.

I did the dimensional depo on the bottom and a floor a wall up a hallway two wide with a auto sorter on the top

I _still_ haven't set up steel production in my save, but I have finished the depot research and that thing is amazing.
Watching this make me realize I am not very good at Satisfactory. So I'm learning. That said, this is just showing me how to make a swan. Gorgeous unless looked at fro longer than like 4 seconds.
It's refreshing to play 1.0 after playing plus . It's like algebra and calculus , then going back to basic math.

My initial main mode of transportation was those powerline grabby things. Helped me a lot esp since i couldn't farm up enough for trains initially.

Same until I get jetpacks. Then I build cannons and don't get back to zip lining till I'm setting up scanning towers. Cannon being a blueprint I can just place it pointed in the right direction Ang give it power.

I know I should be enjoying my holiday but the playthroughs of 1.0 are just too good to miss.
Bitz your explanation of the Depot research was WAY OFF. The left side of the tree increases the stack limit of each material uploaded, so by the end of that tree you're able to upload a maximum of 5 stacks of each material (2500 concrete for example). The right side of the tree increases the upload speed by decreasing the time it takes to upload, a little weirdly worded in the MAM the upgrades are based on the initial 4s/item upload time, so you're looking at 2s, 1s, 0.5s, and finally 0.25s upload speeds. The middle branch of that tree allows the remote upload to take place from your inventory.

Yes, but if the depot fills up on anything while its loaded, it'll stall the system.

Works as long as the items are not full. Soon as the dimensional space is full on that item, it becomes stuck at that item and the sushi line then stops.

I tried so hard to avoid spoilers for new content and experience them first hand but your title ruined that. So I come to say goodbye.
If you don't want spoilers, then play the game before you watch a playthrough of it. And it isn't even a spoiler. We already knew dimensional depots existed from coffee stain.
@@codybartholomew317 I didn't watch any of the Coffee Stain content regarding 1.0. In fact I haven't played since they added a way to eventually sink radioactive material. Every video didn't show spoilers till this one popped up. Now I know the reason behind all that stuff. Furthermore other UA-camrs didn't put spoilers in there videos, at least none I seen.
