Quick tip for designing things aesthetically. A lot of your issues will come from giant blank walls with no variation in depth or color. The easiest way to fix that is to just add things onto your walls, add balconies, catwalks, windows, light fixtures, doors, LED Signs, etc. If you've ever played a Valve game you might notice that they often include inaccessible catwalks that lead to no where for no other reason than aesthetics. It adds so much to a building's depth and visual design, especially in industrial settings. One thing i love about Satisfactory is the sheer amount of utility and aesthetic options there are for building.

So to explain the flow issues in your fuel power plant, mk2 pipes can't really handle 600/min. Because fluids can go either way in the pipe at the full flow rate it has some stuttering issues. You can get a full 600/min if there's only one input since it's only really going one way but otherwise it's best to keep it a bit under 600.

Little tip, you can choose the material of the foundations in the build menu, so you don't have to change the material after building it. And use blueprints, they would have saved you HOURS building your fuel facility
trucks may be a bit derpy but they're fun to drive and I hate running belts everywhere so I just pretend my tractors are dorky dogs doin their best. It's great, great choice
The diluted packaged fuel recipe is both a nightmare and a skill check. It's usually a bad idea but honestly I'm happy it's in the game because it's a fascinating task to try to solve.
I like how you learned the hard way that you can't manifold liquids. Each junction causes a split in "pressure." You're and engineer. Say it with me B-U-F-F-E-R-S. I liked the idea with your containers of containers (bottles or canisters). I've done the same but created multiple enclosed systems. That way they can't wander into the wrong buffer. Good gaming! Im looking forward to your 1.0 game!
I haven't seen if anyone mentioned it, but Mk. 2 Pipes can't *actually* handle 600 fluid/min. Since fluids can flow in both directions, it's incredibly difficult to actually utilize 600 fluid/min. It basically only works with 1 input and 1 output. Any junctions for splits/mergers will almost guarantee to kill the ability to get a consistent 600 fluid/min. If you need 600/min, it's better to utilize multiple pipes to ensure consistency.
I've always thought it would be cool if there was like a 5% chance for the space elevator to not connect correctly and shoot off into space again. Not cost you anything and you just have to run the animation again, but just a fun flavor text to throw first timers off if it hits em
If I were building a power plant that huge, I feel like I'd do one row of generators, wire them all together, do the next row and wire them all together, etc. It seems like it would be really easy to miss some wiring if you placed them all first and then went through wiring them all..?

I am so ready for the full release. I plan on grabbing some friends to playthrough with. $8 a month for four players is pretty cheap imo. Trying to convince a fourth friend to give the game a shot, even though they've never played, and don't see the fun in this factory sim; or any factory sim for that matter... Holding out hope though.
This game really hacks your brain. Factorio was hard to understand and then it got 3D with a super hostile world turning into Satisfactory. I had 200h in this game, tho I wasn't even close to what you've achieved in this playthrough. Videos like your's motivate me to get back to this game once it's fully released and fulfill my Industrial Revolution dreams. Keep up the good job❤

Hi. I'm engineer too. Some trick in this game, maybe help. You can find undetectable mining spot. Example on rock desert, there have 5 miner spots normally, but there have 1 more iron normal "secret spot". If MAM dont give good thing, just close and make a new recherche. Some hardisk specific, but maybe next recherche will be better. For save FPS (because i like mega factory) i hide cables in the floor, fondations or wall. Also i hide conveyors between floors or walls. This all for today :) HF.

Is adding more valves a good solution for that?
One way around this is to make everything run downhill. That way it can't run backwards.
