As one who has gotten most of my CP from sealed writs (lol), it is nice to see the point of view of those who do enjoy dungeons/trials. Which I honestly abhor as an introvert and one who needs to go afk frequently. Granted, I do have my guilds (mostly trading, some random happy chatter) that run trials and such but personally I would rather run my various chars (including my newbie babies - get to lvl 6 and run through Summerset to certify) through my daily writ cycle to get nice mats, surveys (to get more mats to refine for more golds), sealed writs to sell, etc. In the same amount of hours I could sweat, swear, try not to pee my pants, and grab my ace bandage for the carpal tunnel flareup of trying to complete a trial. Plus my tens of thousands of spare writ vouchers have come in handy for making a nice profit on attunable crafting stations with the new sets in Necrom :). Again, no shade on the methods you mention here - I understand everyone has many different play styles and I enjoy that you can bring in further options for those that like dungeons/trials and (ugh...) veteran/HM. However, the paltry gold reward from daily writs is not the biggest payoff by a long shot of doing daily writs and can actually be fun for some :)
I do this too because it’s just fun for me, but if you’re on PC, doing writs literally takes seconds per character if you’re using the Lazy Writ crafting mod. So, no reason not to do them
Lazy writ is not much faster than doing it manually it does not make it take seconds it merely shaves a few seconds off I'm tired of delusional psychopaths bold-faced lying
12 characters for daily writs - I usually complete it just exchanging pleasantries with guidies. Yeah. No reason not to do them (sorry console people!)
Doing the Oblivion portals in the Deadlands (aka Atoll of Immolation) just to get a drop of Annihilarch's Chosen Style motif gets me 100k a day by selling it on a guild store. It's by far the easiest and quickest way of getting that specific motif, you can only get 1 per day and it sells super fast, and it looks cool so it's always in demand. Deadlands blueprints and praxises also drop there and sell for a decent price too. I've sold the Annihilarch's Chosen helmet for 400k several times. It used to sell for 2 million when it was brand new but oh well. It doesn't make me millions of gold in a week and it's nowhere near being a good gold laundering business, but it's honest work and it only takes up 15 minutes of my time.
yeah that is an awesome way to make gold. doing older content/content people don't have a reason to do anymore can be a great way to make gold if it drops something expensive! also super easy too

It depends on the page and how popular it is. Sometimes I wait a couple months, other times I wait 6+ months. Really depends on how patient you are and how desperate you are for gold. Also the graph is from the TTC price check function, i believe you search the item then click on the price check. Gives a graph you can change the timeline on

I find your take on this interesting as I much rather do writs solo then do any type of random que on my tanks... Thanks! I'm not really that well equipped to talk about tanking/PVE builds since I mostly follow what is the meta or what other people recommend. But a couple good channels to check out are The Tank Club and Hyperoxies. They make lots of videos about tanking and gear set ups and beginner guides!
Another question regarding style page farming; right know there is an event in the dark caverns; did this on hard mode as a healer more then 10 times in a row, but no drops. Do you have to be the highest dps dealer for this method?
Nope, you can get the drop regardless of your role/group contribution. It's completely RNG as far as we are aware, and has a small drop rate. That's why I think I mentioned it's not the quickest way to get gold, but can be more enjoyable if you enjoy doing dungeons!
Doing writs is still the best time effective method to make gold in this game, there is no contest. But, I get what you are saying, doing contents like dungeons and trials will net you gold and mats over time however I don't consider style page farming as passive farming as you are doing that content to specifically farm style page for gold. These are all good tips for people who do not know but you can't really hoard tons of gold quickly just doing passively unless you got lucky with style pages doing pledges or obtaining some rare polymorph from vHoF, etc.
I think drop rate of style after achiev is 4%? I stopped farming those years ago. Maybe becouse Im fed up with dungeons. I stopped even doing pledges, just fast rnormal randoms,when l need transmutes. Maybe becouse I usually get group,when as a tank I make 30-50% of dmg and DLC dungeons r pain with low dps. Also mofifs r getting cheaper faster,than those from overland. And yes,Im doing writs, With addons it takes only 1 min and reward is 5k in cash and sometimes half million in materials (I got couple times gold plating + some other mats and survey) This is most profitable activity in game if u count gold/hour

For folks who don't want to join trading guilds, making gold via auctions just isn't possible (and it's by far my biggest complaint about ESO). It's why I just stick with writs. I'd love to see suggestions/a guide for any alternatives to trade guilds.
you can still sell style pages and motifs by zone hopping! it's more tedious than listing on a guild trader but I personally have had good luck selling big ticket/new items by zone hopping. you don't have to pay guild taxes that way too!
I believe it's a private one released by Ody, called something along the lines of "Am I Blocking". I got it through someone on discord, but there is similar addons that do the same thing available on EsoUI as well

there's a lot of people who dont have trade addons so you do find expensive items in traders for nothing. in EU at least, there's several dreugh wax currently up for less than 250g.
i have a tank of every class, but started out tanking on my templar! also love playing nightblade, but i am aware they are probably both the "worst" tank classes. necro is the class i bring to serious trial runs, also enjoy it a lot.
I usually just make gold through having many characters. Getting undaunted keys is a pain in the ass though because I only have two CP toons that are fit for vet dungeons. 🤦🏻♀️ and I mostly play DDs, so it takes forever. Might need to make a tank lol.

They are in my inventory but I am not able to deconstruct them with the table, they simply do not appear`(?). What could be the reason for this? Any help appreciated.
Some purple items cannot be deconstructed. The "Exemplary" jewels are for research only, and I believe they say that they can't be deconstructed. Super annoying, I know! Zircon would be so much cheaper if you could deconstruct those ones, and if you are looking for purple jewelry to deconstruct, you have to look for stuff that isn't for research.
Also be aware, that Sometimes, though it will probably become more rare as time goes on, you might come across some normal non-Exemplary jewelry that can bought on a trader that would say CAN NOT BE DECONSTRUCTED. This jewelry came from the time before the Summerset chapter came out. There's nothing wrong or useless about that old jewelry, you just cant get mats from it. You can sell it, destroy it, (which I would not recommend), keep it and use it, or keep it and show off that you have some "old time" items from "back in the day" Just my opinion.

Youre trying to get a potent nirncrux by deconstructing a weapon youve transmuted to nirnhoned, doesn't it use a potent nirncrux when you transmute a weapon to nirnhoned? I feel like I'm missing something

I will gladly spend the 15 minutes/day required to do dailies on 6 toons versus spending 300 hours doing ONE trial, or the soul-sucking effort to run dungeons over and over and over and ... *dies*
Really depends! For just a standard vet run, for trash: I wear powerful assault, turning tide, vateshran sword and board, and spaulder. For bosses I run turning tide, sax, nazaray, or turning tide, sax, spaulder, depending on the situation. Got a few other set ups too but those are for hard modes
Because i personally would rather spend my time doing other things really. I keep all my characters at the Undaunted refuge in stormhaven for pledges and random normals/vets. It takes a bit more time to have to go to somewhere like Blackwood, do writs, and then go back to what I was doing before. I know a lot of people keep their characters parked at the writ board which is super smart, but i am lazy and would rather keep mine at the pledges 😂
haven´t done writs in a year but it´s true it is the most effective way to gain gold quickly roughly 500k each day for 30minutes and that was a year ago! So nowadays probably 1-2m worth of mats for just 30minutes on 18chars. Also u have roughly a 60% chance to gain hardeners back with CP passive and maxed passives from crafting so buying a ring providing an upgradematerial worth roughly 1,2k each for 1k each is a huge gamble....simple math...
I'm not actually too sure how TTC works on consoles, as I've never played on those platforms. I believe you have to list stuff manually on the website for people to find.
@@RimaruTempest-qf2ze oh, of course! You can install the addon through the ESO UI website, or through the Minion installer. Just Google Tamriel Trade Center addon, should be there. The addon itself will give you the price stuff, but you also have to install an exe which will let you download and upload prices/listings. You just have to have it running when the game is open. Anything you search on a guild trader will automatically be uploaded to the website after you /reloadui or quit the game. Hopefully this makes sense?

The kjalnar style page was only worth 1mill day 1 on ps console. People have crazy price wars.

I just do vhr runs all the time and tons of dungeon raids

Crafting on 18 tools takes me about 10 to 15 min and it's at least a million gold everytime.
