Deltia never fails to produce amazing videos! I just play casually, but this type of information makes the game far more enjoyable for me. I am a 62 yr. old lady that just made friends with a 70 yr. old lady in the game. (Our husbands are not interested in playing) but we, (two grandma gamers) have a blast together! I just got my adult kids to start playing and I am teaching them to play better because of you! Thank you Deltia for continuing to create wonderful and usefull videos! (Unlike some of the other talking heads who just do 20 minutes of boring the pants off us by showing off instead of showing up and giving useful info. In essence young man, You are Awesome! Never stop making these great videos.
I too am a 'grandma gamer', but my kids got me into it, darn their hides! it's my first ever mmorpg, so I'm still working through the mechanics and figuring things. I don't know if you'll get notified that I replied, but I sure would like to chat and connect with other grandmas if possible. If you get this please respond! :) Love to hear from you. And I too appreciate the videos, although way too much to absorb at once LOL. thank you
I really love the "heart beat" analogy, this has made my VamPlar really start to get more understandable and smooth, and my dps is starting to actually be a "per second" thing, rather than me thinking I need to get 20 things done in 1 second like I am playing Mortal Combat as a 13 year old button masher. Also, from a previous video, you gave one of the greatest tips of all time for a MagPlar: hit the next light attack when the right foot goes forward on Sweeps. Game changer. Made it super easy for me, it is a great visual metric that made my timing really even out. Thanks very much mate!
Thank you so much for this video. I have been playing since 2015 and as a seasoned player, I too take long breaks from ESO. So, coming back to a lot of changes makes it hard even for me. Your tutorials help all of us be better players. I appreciate your time and effort you give to each and every one of us.
Deltia despite my many breaks every time I come back to game there are TWO people I count on to bring me up to speed and up my game. You have always shined for the pvp side of things but man this time around you are upping your pve A Game and really the only reason I use that other creators builds is for the way he sets up his various CP count builds on his site. It's just easier to scroll open the 180, 300, 630, 918, etc toggle and know what to pick for my range and tweak it from there. Glad you are back and LOVING the content.... really really appreciate these vids, thanks man!
Awesome vid. Explaining the mechanics like that in depth is amazing for vets and new players alike. So many people do what they are told without ever knowing why, and they don’t know the lack of understanding is a handicap. More like this would be awesome.
Dude! This was easily the most insightful, helpful and clear tips video I have ever watched and you squeezed it all into 25 minutes!? My guy 👊🏻 thankyou!
Thank you thank you thank you a lot of UA-camrs just go over super fast they don’t sit and talk about it I really appreciate this video work it’s put into context
thank you so much! I've been playing magplar since i started the game and took a build blindely from online, i understood a lot of the why's but there where still some things i didn't know. this video was all i needed! You have my subscription :)
The first time I went back I looked for your videos just hoping you came back. And now that i have a Series X. I went started playing again I again looked for your videos just hoping you came back and there was a week old guide. Your videos are the best. Thank you.
Excellent informative video, keep up the good work! I keep checking your videos and your homepage, and it is for me one of the best sources of tips for my playstyle in ESO. Again, great work, keep them videos coming!
As an experienced DPS-main (since 2015) i got to say this is the best most beginner friendly and most helpful DD-Guide i have ever seen on for ESO! Now i am just gonna send this to everyone instead of ever trying to explain anything myself XD. Rly Great Job
Good job m8, I'll be uploading this to my guild discord. One of the best and most informative videos out there. One tip though, say to them that except the iron atro and the other dummy that looks like a ghost (don't remember the name) YOU DON'T GET BUFFS (in caps for those of you that will comment on low DPS) meaning that those 40k+ is what the build is capable of doing alone so the guide won't get overshadowed by ignornats.
I love the advice you gave about pre-buff. I do this constantly, even when not in combat. Keeps the muscle memory there, and makes sure I never forget. Only down side is when I'm on a necro and in town. Sometimes I forget NOT to pop an illegal buff, or as a vamp I tend to walk around with Sated Fury on, and occasionally forget to watch out for guards. :) Still, I also always recommend people get in that habit. Saves time, and you're always alert and ready to fight. Especially important in PvP zones. If you start a PvP fight unbuffed, and the other guy is buffed, you're as good as dead if you have to take the time to buff up.
i literally started really actually getting into eso more fully and im' a support player (healer) but I also wanted to learn how to be a DPS. Your video's just perfect for people like me who aren't used to it. 💕
Ok, I hope this makes my random dungeons each day better and even leveling skills in Craglorn! Now, if you could go over PvP tips for better deeps please?
For prebuff, it's worth generalising it to: anything that gives you a buff; any dots you can activate on yourself without pulling the boss; any debuffs you can put on the boss without agroing; any class passives you can proc via casting your class ability away from the boss. There are also abilities which may take a few seconds to arm (rune, meteor, destro, trap, etc) which you can cast at the appropriate time during the tanks pull countdown based on its arm time. And some ranged aoe dots which you can put where you think the boss may walk into or spawn into before they do so.
For knowing which dots are worth it, you can do what deltia did or use math and calculate the abilities total damage. This won't be entirely accurate, as some skills have status effects which ad to its overall damage or class passive damage; you need to figure this out yourself through experience.
Very helpful explanations. Ty. Maybe in future u can tell which bar is ur main damge bar. Meaning which one is executes and whatnot. I feel mine is backwards so i get confused on what skill to put where as well as which enchants to use on which bar. Sorry to ask u to address something thats probably obvious to most but not someone like me who doesnt interact with alot of players. You always seem willing to help the uneducated or unknowing and I always appreciate that so I felt I could ask this of u in the future to help with some clarity. Hope u read this and are able to help me. #confused but trying. Thx again.
On your 91k parse, what armor were you wearing on your magplar? Perfected Bahsei’s? I see the kilt buff. Trying to find a decent alternative to Bahsei’s on my magplar. I don’t like having to manage keeping magicka low. Thoughts on an alternative? I guess I’m wondering what people are seeing as BiS behind it. Maybe WM or MS? I really appreciate the hard work you put into producing quality content! It’s super helpful!

Thanks for this! I'm on a pretty low CP level still, and playing pretty casually as a tanky solo StamDK so not completely spec'd for damage, but my dps is very low (15-20k). This might be a stupid question, but do you light attack between each attack, including the aoe dots etc. or just your spammable? I probably should, but somehow feels less natural when casting Volley and skills like that.
Any particular reason why you use Templar over any other classes I main the DK personally find it more fun but with the upcoming nerfs mite be better going a different class
Get in Cyrodiil. With a friend or two will be easier. Have a DPS PvE build. Vlastarus is a village north west from your base since you are AD. Head to that village and kill the npc that guard it. Capture the flags and wait for the elite gear vendor to spawn. Buy the deadly crates from him using AP. Buy a lot and run to a safe location, inside the local crafting station building is fine. Open one cheat at a time and bind whatever you don't have collected as it drops. Repeat until you have the whole set. That is if you have alliance points to spare. If not then as the previous guy told you use ttc and buy it for gold
@@nepaiva2334 well, if you want it to be active on both bars you can go for all armor except head and shoulder so you can slot a monster head or except head or shoulder so you can slot a mythic and 1 piece from a monster set. Hello I hate to ask a dumb question however what are the Traits on your MagPlar Jewelry? Should I run Infused Necklace with Bloodthirsty rings? Thank you again for the help you have been. I wish I was PC player Vs Console ugh oh well I’m not about to buy a PC and START all over lol ugh the thought just makes me cringe loool
Hey there comment people! I am just now getting back into the game after a 5 or so year absence. Quick question! i animation canceling not a thing anymore?
I'm doing 35,000 to 45,000 with the rotations I got from you a while back (Forgot the video but I can basically spam that rotation forever) and I'm thinking. "I suck" since I can't hit 100K like everyone brags about. Despite the fact that when I look at my numbers after going through dungeons I see that I'm doing from 50% up to 80% of the damage on fights. Maybe I'm not as bad as I think I am??
At one point when I leveled up to level 50 the game gave me a tip describing light attack weaving definitely not an exploit when the game tells you about it
Nord Templar 71.9% spell crit 71.9% weapon crit I can’t get these percents any higher with any combination. But I find for some reason using a Nord Templar they get the highest spell crit possible. I kill things in 2nds. PVE
another tip that get left out by everyone is to play a class you enjoy. it doesn't matter if you are playing the hardest hitting class if you never practice because you don't like playing the class.
After watching tons of videos over the span of a few years, my high elf sorc hits for 48k dps and im only running a purple and blue set with a spell penetration mundus
No. It’ll equalize the economy and entirely remove the excitement of finding that “really good deal” of one guild who prices an item similar to other items already in that guild merchant
on one hand it would make things alot easier! but it would remove the need for trading guilds to perform well! now they have the incentive to do well because they need to bid on a good trader spot next week! i actually like that system more than boring central market
I agree I don’t have the time like most people to play 24/7 who are constantly using addons to flip an item when they see somebody is selling something low who doesn’t know any better. It’s a shit system because you know their are people or guilds who have all the time in the world to buy every single good priced item and then flip it before anybody else has a chance to get it. No better than realtors trying to flip shitty houses.
@@Agent-di4mc then you can't play as a merchant. Why should so many lose what they like in the game because some can't do it. It's the same thing with score pushers, if anyone could get the hardest achievements and titles in the game then it would be no point.
OK, but you didn't explain how your jabs are doing 33K to a skeleton dummy. I can barely hit 33K going all out, which is about 57K on a raid dummy. My jabs and any other ability hits way less than all these 80-100K videos. I don't need help with weaving. I need to know how your jabs hits that hard.
You got 47k without even trying your hardest? My best is 45k putting in everything I got. :( Maybe I'm just rotating wrong because I'm not sure what more I'm failing at

Awesome vid mate!! And yes parsers are easy to spot in vet content. They're the ones dead in every fight raging at the tank and heals 😥
Good stuff Deltia
Deltia bringing BDE… big deeps energy. What were you thinking I meant…. Sheesh.
LOLLLLLLLLLLLL that's so good Wdeemar.
What is the double bar add on and the purple timer on the bottom left of you skills? Great video thanks so much Deltia you nugget you :)

You're welcome!
The eso wizard! And he’s A fellow army vet too! Much respect bro would love to play with you sometime sadly I’m on ps.
How do you get that screen with the damage data to come up. that is new to me???
I’ve been running magsorc with just my fist and AOE abilities no weapon lol it’s pretty fun. I did two atolls already with success.
What is with the "Target is immune" message in the top right corner usually for? as you were obviously doing damage but that was spamming away. I see this all the time so I stop using that skill in a fight. Is the target immune to damage or is it referring to buff or something? for instance around 3:30
Usually that means you can't stun them or some other effect on a boss.
Usually CC's, probably from trap trying to immobilize the target
Very cool guide!

Yeah Templar is my main and I'm most knowledgeable about it so it's easier for me to explain concepts on something I know more about.
where can i buy the deadly set if i am in the aldemeri dominium?
i just bought them on traders! use the ttc website to find wich traders sell it

on one hand it would make things alot easier! but it would remove the need for trading guilds to perform well! now they have the incentive to do well because they need to bid on a good trader spot next week! i actually like that system more than boring central market
The being a merchant is a thing in the game. An center market would destroy that playstyle that so many enjoy.
No matter how hard i try i cant hit passed 73k on a 21mil. Guess I'll stick to tanking and healing.
before even making any dps it feels like u have to grind as a new player from lvl 1-50 and than from cp1-1200
My tip? Wait two patches and Zos will do it for you......
i have 87 hours and i'm cp 106 and my dps is still god awful i don't know why but i've always struggled with dps
Maybe I'm just rotating wrong because I'm not sure what more I'm failing at
