Late to comment but good closing question. Actually something I discuss a lot with friends (we had several music projects and talk music a lot). Personally I choose to separate the art from the artist, as long as it's not directly linked to what the problem is (racist lyrics and such). I can appreciate and like music, doesn't mean I auto support the people behind it. I know that listening can be a form of support especially if it generates money, but I can't bring myself not to listen something I really really like.

Why would his behaviour inpact your impression of his music? The music doesn't become worse! E.g. Thriller didn't bocome a bad song just because MJ got falsly accused!!!

I, personally, am glad that I pirated all his music that I've ever wanted to listen to and have the ability to completely disassociate his involvement with Oblivion's soundtrack with his terribly shitty behaviour.

He also made music for a game called Giants Citizen Kabuto. I would consider giving that a listen.

Soooo, a woman that was "harassed" continues working and being friends with Jeremy (in her own words) and even accepts working on his new projects, like making a website for him. Give me a break. She was a fully functional adult, she could've taken actions - even by removing herself from him. But she didn't. The girl lacked even the most basic type of integrity. NO legal actions have been made. We live in a society when even McD's gets sued if they don't label "filling is hot" on the package, let alone sexual allegations. AFAIC, this is entirely blown out of the proportions. The truth is probably somewhere in the middle - he was probably persistent in trying to hit on the ladies (many men do), but nowhere near close to assault any. That's why there's no legal actions. That's why they cannot prove anything - because there isn't any. Still, his career is ruined because of it. We are deprived of hearing his new music. If there was anyone that suffered the consequences, it was him, not those sly drama queens.

Now when you go to bed listening to these, you can imagine jeremy soule laying there beside you. Staring. Breathing.

To me the music of Skyrim will always be beautiful even if their father was a nasty man. Music is music after all and although i will ensure he always gets pirated i still think they are masterpieces. It’s like those girls that come from abusive households that aren’t abusive themselves, they might have baggage but at least they’re detached from that and have a brighter future ahead.

After looking at your vision of this situation (by the way, the most complete of all that I came across), I came to the conclusion that Jeremy most likely became a hostage of the “smart guys” who began to promote the theory that the artist’s main income is from streaming platforms (which brought a lot of examples, and of course they were all “success”). The bitter truth for any artist is that the main income, for example, for a musician is - concerts and his performances, and not income from listening to his songs. Yes, of course - listening to released songs brings artistic fame, but does not generate main income. This is the reality. And the fact that Jeremy disappeared from the information fields - one can assume that he was ashamed for not releasing the material he promised. One might even say that he tried to jump above his head. Even worse, he tried to do marketing. An artist should be creative and not plan financial transactions, or develop strategies for his promotion - this is not all about creativity or an accomplished musician/composer like Jeremy Soule, etc.. And here we can also see the influence of the “gurus” of artist promotion, or “millionaires,” who tell how to earn their first million dollars. In other words - scammers. I want to thank you so much for your video - it really turned out to be as unbiased as possible, but at the same time it is imbued with deep respect for Jeremy’s work. You did a great job. Thank you.

I have bought multiple (3 or 4) Apex mounts via endeavors. You are probably fairly close on the 8 month estimate for gathering enough coins to buy one (maybe 6 months is closer, depending on weekly endeavor payouts). Up until Gold Road was released, you could always, easily do 3 daily solo endeavors with the base game and same with the 1 weekly endeavor, however, after Gold Road was released, they made it far more unfriendly for people with only the base game, adding in sometimes 2 dailies or even 2 weeklies that were 100% specific to Gold Road.

"I cast horse!" Lol. Man, the biggest downside to eso is the dated animations and models in the game. Ouch. Combat suffers greatly from how stiff and bad everything looks. I've always enjoyed exploration and all the other chill activities though. ESO weaknesses are WoW's strengths and vice versa.

I had no knowledge of anything about this guy other than the obvious Elder Scrolls soundtracks as I'm a huge RPG nerd and love Oblivion and Skyrim. Yet another flawed genius; I'm going to have to try and mentally seperate the art from the artist.

My cats and i still purr all night on J. Soul Skyrim ambiences. When he composed it, in the moment, he was not the bad guy he was outside of music. The best part of himself is expressed in his music.

Honestly it’s like this with all these jewy guys in authority. Jeffrey Epstein, Harvey Weinstein, Ghislaine Maxwell, Eliezer Berland, Ezra Sheinberg, Phil Spector, it’s all the same. Totally paranoid, always claiming any inconvenience is another hall of cost, always claiming that everyone is against them meanwhile woe to anyone who falls into their clutches. It’s amazing that Soule had that much music talent but as soon as money was involved, he just couldn’t be bothered to make any actual music. I’ve been a fan of his since Secret of Evermore if you can believe it, but I’ve worked with so many guys like this that his story makes total sense. But people will say you’re crazy if you talk about it. They just can’t believe that evil like this is so pervasive among this group, so then they’re completely unprepared when it happens to them. This is how they always get away with it… I mean everyone’s seen movies showing this group being targeted by ev!l white people, right? How could they ever do any wrong?

I just casually happened across this vid but was just thinking the other day what may have become of Mr.Soule...was kinda hoping that you might have unearthed some recent life sign or something...but I guess he really REALLY went to great lengths to make himself scarce. I still remember reading his statement regarding not being involved in TES 6 around the time I only ever became aware of the guy. And then pretty much the proverbial manure started hitting the ventilation device. Oh well...I do not relish being one to throw a stone but probably it's for the best if the dude never gets put in charge of anyone's money or career again, all things considered.

Also, Soule joined the North American branch of Square. The game he composed was specifically made by the western part of Square; it was never released in Asia to this day. About his Kickstarter project, well, the only game composers I can trust to deliver their promises on Kickstarter are Christopher Tin and Chris Huelsbeck anyway.
