- 3 Ways to Use the XViVE U3 Wireless Microphone System
The XVIVE Wireless Microphone System can be used a number of ways. It can be used for handheld microphones, from an XLR device to a Mixer or even as a mic on an amplifier or snare drum!

This was great Shane ! Thanks for the comparisons of mics. Cheers !
Here's three ways you can use the XVIVE Wireless Microphone System! I hope you like the video!
Howdy from Fort Worth, Texas!...Fantastic demo, Shane. Love the different tests. That RODE M3 is the killer! Best out of all the mics. I gave a review for the U2s on your XVive U2 video & I'll leave a review once these U3s are obtained. Keep the reviews & shredding coming!...
Little known fact, if you plug the receiver into the transmitter it makes little U3 babies. the more you know! 🎤🎛🎵😁 My peavey Classic 20 MH has an XLR out. Totally didn't think of trying that, but now I will. thanks
Answered all my questions. Great info! Thanks. Darryl from Canada.
Hey! Thanks for such a killer review. I also will be using this apparatus for My DSLR audio video setup on live performances. Def are ordering a pair today 🤘🏽
Wow Shane. That thing is super versatile! I actually think I may pick one up for recording purposes.
Seems like a good product that could save me a good 100ft of cable I have to run every gig. Thanks Shane!!
Great review, great music, great musician) thanks a lot)
I had these when they first came out, I had to send them back after a week because they were like one to two sec behind my strumming. I hope they have improved since then....great vid as always!!
It's totally lagless to my ear mate. If that was a previous bug it has been ironed out. My friend Ric used them at a gig last night and he had no issues with it at all. :-)
@@officialWWM maybe I got a bad batch, I'll give em another try...thanks!
I got both xvive systems guitar and mic! I'm sold on xvive. I'll be buying another
Great stuff! \m/
that wireless setting on kemper is awesome!
Thanks! I really think this is a handy way of keeping the unit safe at a gig. No long cables for people to stand on etc.
Love the fact your obviously a knopfler fan :)
He's one of my big 3 Richard. Cheers mate. 😄
Thanks Shane. Appreciate the video and the insights. Any comment on the noise floor?
Thanks My friend 🌷
Great review! I purchased the set, but need to get another receiver. How would you pair a second receiver to the original transmitter?
Awesome product. Wow! Quick question. For us home hobbyist, did you notice any lag compounded with your interface? I guess what I mean is that if you have an interface that has a small amount of lag, will plugging this product into it introduce another potential lag issue? Latency is a killer! Thanks for another awesome vid.
It runs on 2.4ghz there's no lag that I could detect. It would be in the low milliseconds range.
@@intheblues Thanks for reply!
Nice ghostbusters reference!
That red guitar looks and sounds awesome. What company makes that guitar?
Hi! So I have a bandmate that used the XVive Guitar one. I’m interested in getting one or maybe two of these but would like to know what the potential capability is if I want to run it from a direct input that’s connected to my keys. Thanks for any advice on this!
I think they have a phantom power adapter thingy for condenser mics.
Can you use while in use. I need a wireless system... from my mixer to active speaker. For my gigs but i need more than 5 hrs run time..
How do you think these would do with a Sennheiser MKH416 for film sets? Thanks!
Can you use this to "link out" out of one my main tops to add a 3rd main?. My two mains would be wired to my mixer... I was wondering if I can use this wireless system to "link out" of one of my 2 wired mains to add the 3rd with the receiving wireless piece?
If i output music from a tablet to a mixer, will the transmiter send signal in stereo or in mono?
Hi... Haven't used them for awhile... So when I took them out of the box and plugged in for charging... No light indicator showing that it is charging... Could you please advice
Are you saying that the wireless mic system will work with the wireless guitar system? ( and vice versa? )
Hi! should I buy Xvive u3 or Nux b3? what are the diferences? thanks
Can I plug this product into a Zoom H5N? I want to record audio directly to the voice recorder.
Can I use two transmiter to one receiver all on the same channel?
I don't think so, it's bluetooth point to point only.
Hey Shane, would have been good to see if it made any difference if you were using the wireless system or a cable.
They make some great pieces of gear. I'm waiting for the hype to die down a bit (and the price hopefully).
Now I'm expecting Caline, Biyang and Joyo to come out with one for under $50 ;)
I've tested it both ways and I couldn't tell the difference
Probably different impedance to the guitar wireless system. I did notice a difference with that guitar wireless, but you can dial the amp to compensate
Unfortunately, The product was patented and They cannot and also have no technology to build it.
Fischer Mao Reverse engineering has been going on for years with the Chinese. IP or not

bought one during the black friday sales (regular price though), I tested all my Shure 5575LE, Super55, SM58 and KSM8 (bought after black Friday)
Tested on Behringer X AIR XR18....(Midas Preamp)
Comparing to the cable, I found the Xvive U3 has at least +5dB bottom noise comparing to my Mogami 2545 XLR Cable. And very limited signal range, if the transmitter antenna is covered by your full hand, you will start having wiggling audio signal (say way but no problem with the analog Shure PGX UHS system)
So my opinion, for that quality it fits the price range, and as long as you do creative filming or live recording production (a situation you can afford to re-start recording) then it's a quite a great fit for the budget. Otherwise, you may wanna go with Rode News Kit stuff or go with the high-end analog UHS system) ;)
If you decide to have one, highly recommend using with lower impedance dynamic microphone (Beta58A, KSM8, and others that requires the least preamp input... if you have to use something like SM7B or SM57, please add a CloudLifter)
How come they come with micro USB charging, this technology is dated, and no power indicator so you can't tell if you need to change before a gig.
Are the batteries replaceable?
There to wide to connect to a vocal pedal
Nice! But too damn expensive!
@1:52 Shane is easily entertained.
😆
I thought that was funny too - Yeah look it go!
Great product in my book. Get a battery powered amp and hit the streets no wires 👍
You MUST do RTFM procedure - Read The Fu#@ing Manual 😀
never! haha I like to see how stuff works without having to do that lol
what happened to your caline multiFX? not ready yet?
Sorry mate, yep! That video was uploaded earlier today but I meant to have it scheduled for a week or so from now. I didn't even have the thumbnail finished.
Surely the point of a wireless guitar rig is to jump and spin around like an idiot? That's certainly what I would be doing. A little disappointed not to see any of that : ) Otherwise, great video, thanks!
