This video actually has a story behind it. Besides V-Man and Jay being “initiated” into the band, the others are facing their fears in real life and starting new.
They did a making of on this video and talk about how Chris’ worst fear is being attacked by birds which is why he was plucked to death in the video. Same with Craig in the elevator with the dog attacking him.
Others were more along the lines of destroying their livelihood like Sid biting his fingers off which would make it near impossible to DJ anymore. Then the rest were just killing their older image.
As far as Clown though, I think he was just being Clown and closing his movie with the burning alive/hanging bit. By far this man has been through all of the shit in this band more than most with friends dying and other friends being replaced. All while trying to keep things on a path with eight other personalities and dealing with the death of his daughter most recently.
Over 20 years this “gimmick” has kept rollin. Impressive in any genre.

The video is about every member dealing with their fear of dying and clown all about fuck it light me on fire hang .are a mess it's your problem to clean it up

Slipknot lost 2 members. Their bassist to an overdose and their drummer left the band. They were replaced by the two you see in the wheelchairs. The video is the group "killing" their old selves as a group and re-emerging as a new band. The two new members were "killed" off from their old lives and initiated into the group. Very symbolic and important to them as a band.
Cory actually died from an overdose and was brought back. Look up what he went through as a kid and you will understand the anger and pain of his lyrics, he is the American dream

The guys in the chairs being stabbed were actually their new drummer and new bassist. This was the song that introduced them to the fans.

I think slipknot is one of the most talented bands ever. With such a unique sound, and those drums that drive me wild. The energy of their music consumes me. So they are my favorite out of the three for sure.

in MY opinion Slipknot's songs with HUGE contrasts in HARD and SOFT (like this one) are my very favorite... Corey singing like a bird on minute and then growling like a demon-possessed person just hits it RIGHT for me...
Slipknot is probably my favorite band. Doesn't matter now famous they did or didn't get, what matters is how they hit you right in the feels. Slipknot hits closest to home for me personally, they're one of the best groups I've ever heard.
I love Mudvayne and they were incredible to see live, but Slipknot takes top spot for me. 🤘🖤

Mudvayne is my favorite band, period. Slipknot was one of my first 5 favorite bands and still love it, thought I haven't bothered with the newer albums since they didn't do it for me.

Mushroomhead is my favorite. Some more songs by them you can do are Solitaire Unraveling, Out Of My Mind, The Heresy, Bwomp, 43, Simple Survival, These Filthy Hands, New Cult King, Sun Doesn't Rise and Chancre Sore. For Mudvayne you can do Happy, Do What You Do, Forget To Remember, World So Cold, Not Falling, Fall Into Sleep and Scream With Me.
I know this video is kinda old but...It's Korn dudes. Korn pioneerd New Metal and others followed. Korn dudes....Korn. They started the whole thing. Y'all gonna have to look up new metal and see, but Korn are the godfathers that hyped everything up

They were killing their past. They are wearing the masks from their previous masks when their killed off except the drummer and bassist who were just killed out right. Watch for example Jim's mask change when he blows himself up, you'll see his mask change.
