This was Led Zeppelin's first album. The band was assembled a month or two prior to this recording. These guys just went into the studio and this spilled out.

Besides, I enjoy watching people hear Zep tunes for the first time, especially people who don't have a lot of history with blues-based rock. But they know good music when they hear it.

This song is actually a reinterpretation of another song by a band Jimmy Page shared a show with before Led Zeppelin . The other song is by the same name. I think Jimmy Page was in the Yardbirds at the time. You will find a lot of their songs to be covers/reimaginations. They are still great though
Led Zep was the epitome of rock evolution. There were no mediocre members in that band. Every one carried his full weight and they put out a massive catalog of great work.

This song is actually a reinterpretation of another song by a band Jimmy Page shared a show with before Led Zeppelin . The other song is by the same name. I think Jimmy Page was in the Yardbirds at the time. You will find a lot of their songs to be covers/reimaginations. They are still great though
Led Zep was the epitome of rock evolution. There were no mediocre members in that band. Every one carried his full weight and they put out a massive catalog of great work.
