Everything they did was fabulous!! Gotta watch their live performances...unbelievable! Led Zeppelin is the name of the band...best 4 musicians there ever were!
You picked an in-your-face choice for your very first Zep song. Here is a breakdown of what you just listened to: -The greatest rock band of all time -the greatest rock n roll drummer of all time -the greatest lead guitarist of a rock n roll band of all time -a singer frontman akin to a Rock n Roll God -a bass player equally as good on keyboards and mandolin Yeah, you’re about to go down a deep rabbit hole.
Led Zeppelin is the name of the band. Robert Plant is the singer. Jimmy Page is the guitarist. John Paul Jones is bass and keyboards. John Bonham is the drummer. BEST BAND EVER. Try their song, Since I've been loving you.
You listen to enough of their songs you'll be surprised when you know some of the riffs. You'll probably know Immigrant song almost immediately since it's been in at least a couple movies. Please, please, when you eventually react to Stairway to Heaven, please watch the Live at Madison Garden video. You'll really enjoy watching the guitar solo.
This was song 4 off their debut album. The first 3 songs had already knocked our socks off, then we heard this. Those first 3 songs were "Good times, Bad times", "Babe i'm gonna leave you" and "You shook me". Quite simply, their isn't a bad one.
And this was from their first album in 1969. I was in high school and when this came on the radio, I'd lose my mind. BTW if you want to learn to play the guitar for this song, you'll need a cello bow. Page used one to get that sound on this track.
The live version from MSG in 1973 takes what you just heard and turns it into musical magic. They have a film called The Song Remains the Same which will blow your mind. Welcome to Led Zeppelin my friend:)
Imagine if yoi will, hearing this for the FIRST TIME 53 years ago! Soundtrack of my life! Saw this live in '69 in Cleveland. Start out with their debut album and work your way through them. Then watch them on their CELEBRATION DAY concert when they're in their 60's!❤❤❤❤❤
He was ~20 years old singing that... can u imagine? look at 20 year old "artists" today, such a disparity in ability and effort, really. I know it's a lot of corporate driven crap, but still. These 4 guys are all amazing actual artists, THE best band ever, ever!
That incredible song was recorded over 50 years ago, on the first side of their debut album, all of them were in their very early 20s when they recorded it. Led Zeppelin was a Mic Drop on the 60's and a monster band during the 70s, just huge. Start at the first album and work your way to the last album, if you liked this, it's worth your time and attention.
In the middle part of the song Jimmy Paige was playing the guitar with a violin bow that gave us some of those amazing sounds. I think you would enjoy Since I've Been Loving You. Live MSG is best I think.
they're considered one of the greatest rock blues bands ever but they also do rock folk country Jazz they do it all start with their first album and just work your way through each song it's incredible
Your enjoyable to watch hearing LZ for the first time.I been hearing them for so long I take there amazing productions for granted. The stars were aligned when these four took off on there journey. You have much pleasure coming.Enjoy the Ride
The Goats!! 🐐 Subscribed for your Zeppelin journey, lets go!! Please start from the first song on the first album and just keep going like we did! I'm here for it! You'll be blown away just like we were back then! Greatest band ever! You were killing me with "Mr. Zeppelin"! 😂 Robert Plant -Vocals, harmonica Jimmy Page - Guitar John Paul Jones - Bass, Keyboards, Mandolin, & everything else John "Bonzo" Bonham - Drums ☮️
Four of the greatest musicians of all time came together to give the world Led Zeppelin, Robert Plant on vocals, Jimmy Page on lead guitar, Jon Bonham on drums, John Paul Jones on Bass
THE best band. Done. 😊 you will want to react to everything they put out. Do so and watch the subs go up. Zep is band name. Ty for reaction! New subscriber! Love that this is the first song you heard. Jimmy Page, lead guitar and the Master, produced all their albums. He is amazingly underrated in that regard. Their albums sound perfect.
New sub; if you're going down the Led Zeppelin rabbit hole, you're in for a wild ride and will quickly see why rock music, from mid-60's to mid-80's is so iconic! Check out Kashmir, When the Levee Breaks, Immigrant Song, and my favorite Since I've Been Lovin' You (live at MSG)...and their legendary Stairway to Heaven. Vocalist is Robert Plant, guitarist Jimmy Page, drummer John Bonham, and keys/base John Paul Jones. Every one of them is considered an icon, and Zeppelin is still considered one of the top all-time rock bands. Then we'll introduce you to others. You have no idea but you just struck gold!
You can’t go wrong listening to Led Zeppelin, everything they do is magnificent, best band there ever was & ever will be. I love other bands too, but most have a few really good songs. Led Zeppelin only has a few you might not be a crazy about, but they don’t suck. It’s hard to find a favorite song, because often then next you listen to, is your new favorite. Keep checking Led Zeppelin out, I’ll be back for your reactions.
Keep playing Led Zeppelin you won’t be disappointed, everything they did was amazing. Checkout Since I’ve Been Loving You live at Madison Square Gardens Live 1973. Everything this group of GOATS did is amazing. Robert Plant singer & harmonica Jimmy Page lead guitarist John Paul Jones bass & keyboards drummer John Bonham. Four GOATS came together & to become rock blues etc. GODS. There’s tons of videos with information about them. Jimmy Page produced all their music, as part of their deal with Atlantic records. They were magic from the get go, only together a few months when recorded their first album, & took the world by storm.
My man, you've asked for us to recommend other Led Zeppelin magic to review. And undoubtedly other commenters are going to give you a myriad of choices of all their greatest and most well known songs to listen to, and the most awesome part is that it will all be new to you and a fantastic experience to enjoy. You'll also hear people say that they don't have a "bad" song (mostly true...don't get put off if you do get one or two stinkers because all bands have them!). The craziest part about this band is the variety of different styles of music they play...you can go from one song to the next to the next and they don't resemble each other in the slightest. What I'd recommend to you as a new reactor to this band is to take it differently than all the other reactors - every reactor plays their greatest hits right out of the gate (nothing wrong with that!) but if you want to take this journey a bit differently than the others is to play some of these other awesome songs FIRST before getting to their most popular ones. The other reactors won't know about some of these lessor known tunes but they are awesome nonetheless and you might get viewers that others haven't gotten. Just remember there are different kinds of songs...some are bangers but many of them are about the "vibe" - just close your eyes and get immersed. So my recommendations to you would be to build up in this order: 1. How Many More Times - Danmarks Radio 1969 (Live version - make sure to select the 12 minute version, not the shortened cut off 2 minute versions. This was how the world was introduced to Led Zeppelin...don't get put off by the quiet crowd. Back then on live TV they were instructed to be quiet so not to interfere with the audio over the TV) 2. Babe I'm Gonna Leave You (Live); 3. The Battle of Evermore (studio version); 4. Good Times Bad Times (studio version); 5. Kashmir (LISTEN TO STUDIO VERSION FIRST - THEN LIVE VERSION. This one is a banger. Everyone is going to tell you to listen to live first, but its better for you to go in this order); 6. In The Evening (studio version); 7. The Lemon Song (studio version) 8. No Quarter (studio first) 9. The Rain Song 10. Since I've Been Loving You (Live - Madison Square Garden). Incredible performance 11. Whole Lotta Love (Live - read the lyrics while doing this one. Its pretty raunchy!) 12. Your Time is Gonna Come (studio) 13. Black Dog (MUST DO STUDIO. A lot of reactors do live version and the audio kind of sucks) 14. Immigrant Song (same as Black Dog...must do studio) 15. In The Evening (studio) 16. Over the Hills and Far Away (Live - Madison Square Garden) 17.Stairway to Heaven - their greatest hit (DO STUDIO VERSION FIRST...THEN DO LIVE.) And then you have every other album to go at after that!!!
I hope you check out some more led zeppelin on this channel I really enjoyed your reaction. Some recommendations for next zeppelin songs: Since I've been loving you When the levee breaks Immigrant song Stairway to heaven Whole lotta love Black dog Kashmir I would say listen to the studio versions first and then check out some live performances.
- BTW, when reactors ask, "Which Led Zeppelin song should I listen to next?", I reply, "EVERY ONE!" :) - Yes, they're that good. - And, they are quite diverse. So, expect the unexpected...
lol!! I love you saying that you didn't have any idea what to expect going in, and then hearing what may be the best rock band in history come roaring right out of the gate with this one! Merry Christmas to you and your family bro!
You just heard the greatest band ever. If you check out any of their Live stuff check out the studio version first but definitely check out the live performances. •"Stairway To Heaven" (said by many to be the greatest song ever) •"Babe I'm Gonna Leave You" •"Since I've Been Loving You" •"I Can't Quit You Baby" •"Whole Lotta Love" •"All My Love" •"Rock & Roll" •"Immigrant Song" •"Ramble On" •"Kashmir" just to name a few lol
The 4th track on their debut album. Led Zeppelin is the name of the band. Best 4 musicians ever and you were right-on by noticing the production! Jimmy Page then adds in his magic by producing the album, Jimmy produced all of their albums!! Try ‘Kashmir’ live at Knebworth!!
Welcome to Led Zep rabbit hole....your life will never be the same. This is one of their many masterpieces. All their music produced by the band founder and guitarist Jimmy Page.
BTW - UA-cam has TONS of great guitar instructors. That is how I learned. Led Zeppelin is my favorite band, you are finding out why. #whentheleveebreaks #blackdog #goats!
They’ve been sampled a lot! 😊They are steeped in the Blues! ❤This song and album came out in 69 when I saw them!!!!!!!!Lead guitarist Jimmy Page , also did the production. All members are among the best at what they do. “ When the Levee Breaks” will blow you away too. ❤
Only a few bands have equal members... Led Zeppelin, Queen and Rush... They all contribute equally to their sound. Not one member is replaceable without fundamentally altering their dynamics.
I always get such enjoyment watching someone hear Zeppelin for the first time and realizing just how amazing they were. Go down that rabbit hole then… you will NOT be the same!
The GOATS OF GOATS! Dude live is we’re they truly shine! They are their own genre! It’s a group, not a man! Holy Moly! 😎🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥 Robert Plant…Vocals & Harmonica: Jimmy Page…guitar, various strings, and production: John Paul Jones keys, and Bass: John Bonham drums, and stage director…aka BONZO! Dude Live…
This was so much fun watching experience them for the first time. Live performances are amazing although always listen to the studio cuts first !! Enjoy the ride!!
Led Zeppelin actually came from Keith Moon. When he herd what they were trying to to he said it should go over like a led balloon. The rest is history.
It's not Mr. Zeppelin.. it's ROBERT PLANT! ....How do you not know this? Man's a legend!!
LMAO - middle aged black dude, what'd u expect?
Robert Plant was 19 years old when this was recorded. Unreal.
This was recorded in Nov. and he had just turned 20 in Aug. Bohnam turned 20 in May.
You've entered a magical rabbit hole my friend.
Everything they did was fabulous!! Gotta watch their live performances...unbelievable! Led Zeppelin is the name of the band...best 4 musicians there ever were!

It's the GOATS!!! These guys could play music under water and still top the charts bro!!
Take your pick.. Whole lotta love, since I've been loving you", in my time of dying" when the levee breaks"...
Perhaps the finest guitar solo ever recorded.
Start with album one song one and do the entire catalog. Zeppelin has a big following that will help support your channel.
Led Zeppelin is the name of the band.
Robert Plant is the singer. Jimmy Page is the guitarist.
John Paul Jones is bass and keyboards.
John Bonham is the drummer. BEST BAND EVER. Try their song, Since I've been loving you.
JPJ was also the arranger.
Jimmy Page was also the producer.@@michaelbailey1395
Nice. i dont see many people recommend that one 👍
Only four guys made this music and only three of them played instruments.
@@HoldinContemptThat's not entirely true, Robert Plant played a mean harmonica, he could also strum the guitar, although rarely
What a fantastic gift!!
Love ur reaction! My favorite band of all time
You listen to enough of their songs you'll be surprised when you know some of the riffs.

Jimmy Page (guitarist) engineered & produced their albums. And you gush about the the sound & production…… “1969” ❤️🔥🎸 great reaction my friend 💪🏾💪🏾
You might know Led Zeppelin
The Immigrant Song (live)
But the list is just massive, basically you can pick ANY Led Zeppelin and be blown away!
- The awesome guitarist (Jimmy Page), was also an amazing audio engineer, responsible for much of the Zeppelin studio "sound".
BTW,,,That was a violen string on electric guitar strings just before the solo.
lol!! I love you saying that you didn't have any idea what to expect going in, and then hearing what may be the best rock band in history come roaring right out of the gate with this one! Merry Christmas to you and your family bro!

You don’t know rock and roll without a big dose of LZ. 😊 The sound, the look, the life.
The 4th track on their debut album. Led Zeppelin is the name of the band. At the time they recorded this, they were pretty young and had only been together as a band for about 5 weeks, which is beyond amazing.
Jimmy Page - guitar, band founder, genius as their producer in the studio - age 24 at the time
Robert Plant - vocals, lyricist - had just turned 20 - crazy good singer without the benefit of auto-tune ;)
John Paul Jones - bass, keys, a multi-instrumentalist, arranger - age 22
John Bonham - monster drummer - age 20, sadly unexpectedly passed away 12 years later
Four incredibly gifted and diverse musicians who, when they came together, created something magical, something no other rock band has ever been able to capture, which explains why they still, after dropping their last album 45 years ago, still maintain the 2nd highest album sales in rock music history. The GOATs.
Enjoyed your reaction a lot and if you're going to dive into Led Zeppelin, I'm all in! :)
Best 4 musicians ever and you were right-on by noticing the production! Jimmy Page then adds in his magic by producing the album, Jimmy produced all of their albums!! Try ‘Kashmir’ live at Knebworth!!
You weren't ready, were you? This is just the beginning of your Led Zeppelin education. Enjoy. They are arguably the GOATs of rock and roll.
Robert Plant was 19 when he recorded this!!!
Welcome to Led Zep rabbit hole....your life will never be the same. This is one of their many masterpieces. All their music produced by the band founder and guitarist Jimmy Page.
Subbed!! Cant resist you and the connection to the music of my time.. xo
Led Zeppelin is a band, four amazing musicians. Robert Plant is the vocalist 😂😊

I always get such enjoyment watching someone hear Zeppelin for the first time and realizing just how amazing they were. Go down that rabbit hole then… you will NOT be the same!
The band is timeless. If this never came out in the late 60’s and first came out today, it would be revolutionary today!
Time to go down the rabbit hole. Start with song 1 album 1 and just work your way through. Your life will never be the same.
Led Zeppelin Songs are a Journey 😊
Loved this band for 55 years, still blast it out loud on a regular basis!!!❤😂😂😂❤

Led Zeppelin actually came from Keith Moon. When he herd what they were trying to to he said it should go over like a led balloon. The rest is history.
Keep in mind this is from the late 60s. Amazing stuff.
Do a reaction to the live version of Led Zeppelin's Stairway to Heaven from 1973 Madison Square Garden concert. The best guitar solo by Jimmy Page
