Thanks Herbie, Great review and information for anyone interested in buying one of these bikes like I am !!
@@DavidSmith-wy5rb You’re welcome, it was one of my favorite bikes. I put over 4k trouble free miles on mine. Good luck with your decision
Mine is first version 2016.13500 km (8000miles aprx) it runs good.no need any repairment except maintance.i think it’s time to change chain with a new one.
Hello Isa, that's awesome that you have that many km and it's 6 years old without any problems! The KPR is a great bike for sure. I replaced my chain with a made in Japan chain and it has been great. Thanks so much for the comments my friend! 👍
@ Herbie, I noticed on my KPR200 it has a sort of place for a center stand. So I was wondering if you installed one on your bike to the frame. If so where did you find it. I prefer it over a stand that go on the spools. Can you help me out here? Another thing, I love how you strapped the bag on to the rear seat,it's genius, I have the same bag and had a difficult time getting it to stay on the seat right, Thanks for you informational video . It helped me in many ways.
I did install it to the frame, there is a spot made just for it. I bought mine from a chinese site engtb.com but I couldn't pull it up today for some reason, but I buy from this site as well, here is the page, the cost is very small but the shipping is high. My total cost was less than $50 usd. www.superbuy.com/en/page/buy/?url=https%3A%2F%2Fitem.taobao.com%2Fitem.htm%3Fid%3D44245317136%26ns%3D1%26abbucket%3D16%23detail&nTag=Agent-product-taobao
As far as the strapping the bag to the rear seat, all you do is make a 't' You run a strap around vertically and a strap horizontally. Mine has been on a long time and has never come loose. Thanks for watching and your encouraging words!
After another year, would you still recommend this bike? I rode a Virago 750 that belonged to a buddy back in college, but I haven’t ridden in about 7 years and im looking to get back into it with my own first bike. Im 5’8, about 265. Do you think this would still be a good commuter, no need to go higher than maybe 65 mph.
Yes I would absolutely still recommend this bike, I recently sold my KPR and bought his brother the Kpm. They both have the same amazing engine in them, I love the Lifan bikes and both the KPR and Kpm are great bikes and reliable. I weigh 185lbs so it might be a little difference in the way the bike rides and tops out on speed but I’ve heard of guys over 200lbs not having any issues. Both bikes are great commuter bikes and I feel comfortable on both, good luck with whatever you decide to do
thank you for making these videos cant wait to get my soon
Your welcome kami, I’m glad the videos were useful! Awesome, I excited for you getting a new bike!! I’m actually getting another new bike delivered today and will start making videos on that bike soon. Thanks for watching and commenting 👍🏻
@@herbiesgarage681 can't wait to see what bike it is
@@kami0712uwurawrxdowo42069 It's another Lifan product but a little smaller 😁
The handle bar risers actually look best just the way they are, color is cool and it matches just fine. Thanks for the update. My bike is on 1800 miles, driven since March 2022,that's 8 months now. i swapped the front sprocket for a 17T and ordered the exhaust you have on yours. It's a great bike for the money, next year i'll do more mods for it, I'm interested to find a tuning for it or a box device that tunes to the air,gas and exhaust upgrade, if you hear anything please let us know, Thanks again, keep safe always.
That’s awesome serafin! I’m glad it’s been a good bike for you! I am close to 3000 miles on mine and still going strong. Yeah, I would be interested in a tune as well, I may look into that a little. Take care brother
@@herbiesgarage681 For the tuning, the devices is called a power commander,
@@serafinnieves8137 Okay, thanks for the information
great looking bike. I just got my endorsement and got my TBR7 road legal. 150 miles in and im loving it. Thinking I may add a Kpr200 or Kp200 next as a more street oriented bike. Seems like most people really like the KP bikes for the price.
Thanks Captain! Yeah, a dual sport and a street bike would be perfect together! Both the KPR and KP would make a great street commuter bike. I personally like the little bit of forward lean that the KPR has but I’m sure it’s not for everyone. Whatever you choose good luck with it, I’m sure you’ll enjoy it.
@@herbiesgarage681 you kept you bike really clean👍....how you manage
@@muneeb_07 I only wash it with water on rare occasions, I use a spray motorcycle cleaner and wipe off, fast and easy. Thanks for the compliment
from where did u get these handle bar bolts I love them

Milage?
I currently have 2475 miles on it or 3983km. My gas mileage is in the upper 80's mpg. Thanks for watching!
Nice
Thank You! 😊
@@herbiesgarage681 I got about 2200 miles on mine and I LOVE this bike, I got the blue
@@MGDog189 Hello Mark, awesome, I love the blue, it really is sharp looking! I’m glad you’re enjoying your KPR, they are great bikes
whats goin on whit refactions??
Hi Abel, I’m not sure what your question is but if your asking about the lights I have mounted on the side. They are added for my alarm system, I wanted a stand alone system that worked independently of the motorcycle lights.
@@herbiesgarage681 thanks, I want to buy one like this in MEX, but the people don´t recomenden it,
@@abelgaytan8137 I'm not sure why the people have a low opinion of the KPR, it's been a very reliable bike for me and lots of fun. Whatever you choose I hope you get a good bike and enjoy it Abel!
