Should I Sell It, Pros and Cons of My Lifan KPR 200

  • I'm catching up on some posts so I've got this one to share. I keep going back and forth on selling this bike. I've had people interested in buying and even have someone coming to look at the bike, but should it be sold? I believe that everyone wants a bigger bike at some point, but is it any better of a ride on those bikes. I've had several and my faster bikes were my most dangerous or was it the driver that was more dangerous? Let me know what you think and I'll get some more videos out in the meantime.

Keep it bro. You got the bike for the reasons you dont like it. It limits your speed, it limits your risks. Let the people going 90 and hitting thier brakes when they reach traffic tear up thier $30,000 vehicles and cruise your way to your destination on a $3,000 brand new bike

The KPR does look much better than a usual CB 300. It also does look more nicer than a Honda Grom or Z125. It's one of those bikes that are in between.

It is legal in the lower 48 states aside from California with their CARB requirements. There are some Lifan dealers in NY state that have the KPR200 in stock so I know it can be delivered as well. I have seen that shipping rates may be higher in NY and other large "congested" cities. It is delivered via a full size moving truck. A UA-camr by the name of China Motorsports lives in that area and has videos of online China order bikes being delivered. They don't make a 169 cc gy6 engine - they make a big bore kit for the 150 cc. For those who don't know a gy6 engine is a great engine, very reliable, can run at high revs all day long, can easily get 50,000 miles out of the engine and parts for the engine a very affordable. Other parts for the engine are also very affordable such as a new carburetor - cost less than 20.00. If you ever need a new gy6 engine they are less than 300.00. Great performance, great reliability and very low maintenance cost is what makes the gy6 such a great engine.

It’s not that engine at all, it’s also liquid cooled and fuel injected so you don’t even need to change a carburetor.

Still looks like a great bike I’m a new rider I’ve ridden dirt bikes but not a motorcycle so this is the best bike in my opinion to learn on and the Normal speed limit in my state is 65-70
