BRO, why you gotta flex on us like that. I am DEFINITELY jealous! My goal is to make it out to Japan one day and tour a WRX plant. This would also be a fun place to visit 🤘
One of the best STI Gallery walkarounds I've seen, well done! I like how you showed the other interesting items, aside from the cars themselves, towards the end of the video.
Hey bro! You've got to go. I spent 2hrs filming all the awesome stuff, but then I had to spend an extra hour without the camera rolling just to take it all in!
I went there in 2019, when I was on holiday, awesome place! Added my name to the column as well. I love that it's a normal forecourt downstairs, with people buying or bringing cars in for repair. At the time I had a Hawkeye WRX and after I got back to the UK I ordered a 2012 STI, based on my time walking around the forecourt and looking at them 😀
Really nice video! The McRae/Grist car R14WRC was rallied at the 1998 San Remo (3rd place) and Rally GB (retired with a blown engine). I believe the 1998 Rally GB was McRae's last Subaru WRC drive, as he moved to Ford in 1999. This makes this car very special imo. As I understand it the Solberg car FT55SRT wasn't rallied, but is an exhibition car - still built by Prodrive though. The EJ cutaway engine on display is apparently from a BRZ raced in a local Japanese series.
