I have a Forester Wilderness and one of the very first things I noticed in my test drive was how large the windows were and how easy it was for me to see while driving. Absolutely love it!
Alex, you should know your informative videos made a HUGE difference to our buying decision. From not knowing Subaru at all to now being a part of the Subaru family (vs. Toyota or Hyundai or Nissan or any other brand out there), you have played such an important role through the detailed content you post. Thank you! Hope more people connect with your channel and consider joining the ever-growing Subaru tribe.
I Have owned and am still running a 2006 Forester xt turbo. The SUV that started it all.2,5 Turbocharged. O to 60 in 6,7 seconds and 175 kw of power. It now has 340,000 km on the clock with no major failures and has never once left me stranded on the road. Did replace the head gaskets at 250k ,one radiator, front wheel bearings just recently and a number of batteries through the years. For the rest only regular service items. I always service it exactly on time ,use the best quality premium lubricants and filters and clean and polish every season change. Car look and runs like new. What more can I say. Best car I ever had period...
Alex thanks so much for this video! I have owned 3 Subarus (Forester/Legacy/Outback) and all have been great vehicles to own. The Forester actually prevented serious injury to my wife when she was T-boned. Subarus are some of the safest vehicles made today!
Just bought a 2023 Outback and I'm thrilled. You videos were part of my buying process! One of my favorite things in the visibility. It's amazing and I really appreciate that Subarus don't have stupidly large grilles. It's safer for people inside and outside the car. Thanks for your content!
Grill size is dependant on the engine size. Vehicles with bigger grills have them because they have bigger radiators, oil coolers, intercoolers, etc. That need good air flow.
I have a 2023 WRX and one of the coolest things about my car is the awesome visibility. Your awareness while driving is so much more it makes it more fun to drive.
I just bought an 2023 Onyx Outback, I love it. I came from being a Ford Truck guy, my mom bought a Ascent and it really began to grow on me. I wanted to trade in my F150 and I drove an outback and fell in love.
Outstanding tutorial. A lot of these features I never even knew about, and unfortunately where I purchased my Forester and my mom‘s crosstrek these things were never shown to us. I’m sure you inform your customers of these things and that’s what distinguishes a mediocre sales person from a great sales person. What I really wish I had on both vehicles is the vehicle indicators on the side mirrors, had a loaner with that and they are crazy accurate. I wish I would have gotten xmode also. Keep up the great work, Alex
Hi Alex, thank you so much, informative and enjoyable. Just purchased our new Subaru Outback Sport here in Australia and your segments are helping me so much in finding our way around the vehicle. I must say, simply no regrets and possibly the best vehicle I’ve ever driven. Supreme comfort, practical and of course safe.
Purchased a new 2019 Ascent which now has 60k miles. The boxer engine as well as the "eyesight" program are top notch. My boxer engine is appx 274 hp, 4 cylinder turbo. I treat it very nicely yet if I need to merge or pass, the power is exceptional beginning as low as 2000 rpm! This means you have a ton of power in the low range if needed. Best attributes would be the exceptional ride quality and quiet cabin on the highway as well as the fit and finish. Everyone comments on how nice the Ascent feels on the road. The interior materials, around the dash, for example, are of a very good quality, not cheap plastic. Everything in the car feels like quality and it is. I only have one beef! The lighting system at night, with the rear gate open is extremely poor. There is just one small lite on the sidewall and this does nothing.
I'm looking at the wrx. The internet would have you believe they are unreliable headaches, but in reality, a bunch people modify them and get them tuned improperly. If you leave them stock or tune them properly, they are very reliable.
My 185000 miles 2013 impreza hatch limited was tboned from 40 mph from 60 mph Toyota, my side airbags deployed-car still drivable to off road safely.2 months later I bought 2022 impreza hatchback limited
Hello, Subaru symmetrical AWD is literally symmetrical. Because of the layout and the somewhat rare inclusion of a longitudinal engine/transmission/driveshaft/and rear differential all running 'symmetrically' down the center of the vehicle. Equal length CV half shafts as well. I think it's unique as most non-exotic cars use a transverse engine/transmission layout. The Boxer is a packaging decision that allows for a low center of gravity. Lots of inline and V engines run just fine for decades but lowering the CG and always active AWD makes for a highly secure passive safety system in inclement weather or low traction situations. You could swerve to miss an obstacle and maintain control and composure. The entire ground up design consideration from Subaru is about control and safety. Pretty cool.
Bought my 1st subura this year I got a 2021 Forrester and I love it. All the safety features are great . I feel safer in this car then any others cars I owned in the past .
Thank you for all your great videos. I just got my new 2023 Subaru Forester a few weeks ago, and your videos helped me find my way around the vehicle. I absolutely love my Forester and very impressed with fuel consumption , comfort, safety and space.🚙💞
Test drove a Crosstrek recently and the greater visibility at the mirror was something I immediately noticed! Never owned or drove a Subaru up to that, but the more I learn about them the more I like them! Hoping my next car will be a Subaru
We’ve been Subaru owners for decades, starting with a 1998 Impreza, which is still on the road with its current owner, we’ve had Foresters, Outback’s and my daughters Ascent. Our 2006 Outback is still running strong. Other then head gaskets, major job, it’s been just routine maintenance. We’re very satisfied and will be Subaru buyers for life.
Alex, what a great video!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! You are amazing!!! There is not another UA-cam car reviewer who has even come close to the information you included in this video. Wen I worked for CarMax, I sold a lot of Subaru's that were on the property. I sold the safety features. Yes I was selling previously owned vehicles, but the safety features were there. You don't mention the safety of the vehicle, you are missing the boat. Great job!!!
Hello, you sold the Forester fantastically. This is exactly what I need. Extra long commutes and some off roading to get to job sites. This has everything I need and enhances what I use like Cruze control. Was more of a Toyota Hyundai myself, but this is just perfect! Thanx. This is my next car. Will wait for the 2024 wilderness to come out.
Subaru is quickly becoming the most popular brand in North America. They make great vehicles. Just bought a 2023 Outback, Touring XT. Absolutely love it. High quality interior, comfortable, fully loaded, great practicality, drives like a car, has plenty of power, the tech console works flawlessly. A nice and useful feature is the roof rails have built in fold out crossbars. Frankly, I think it’s nicer in some ways than my 2018 BMW X3.
I sold my vehicle last year in order to replace my wife's car. Subaru is one of the vehicles in my replacement shopping list. Thank you for producing this video to cement my choice 👍🏼
Alex, your videos are so great and informative. And they are reinforcing my decision to purchasing a 2024 Outback Limited XT for my wife. This will be our first Subaru and possibly the last vehicle we will buy (we’re 73 years of age). Notice, I did not say old as we’re very active. Thanks again for your videos, they really make a difference.
We've owned 5 Subarus, all great cars. Here in the upper midwest their AWD is great for our winter and spring driving conditions where you can get more of an off road experience than you may like without even leaving the highway ;) I've got a '15 Legacy with all the options. I do love the Eye-sight system. Like any automated system you still need to be observant and keep track of what's going on around you independent of the information you get from it. But it's a great additional layer safety.
Still loving my 2018 Forester. I have the Limited, just enough options on it. The stuff missing is just toys. Not much difference between the Limited and Touring models. Not mentioned in this video, but my saleman told me that the low profile engines are designed to go under the vehicle in a headon collision instead of into the cabin. My vehicle has so many safety features, it's almost impossible to have a severe accident. I bought my vehicle because the Forester was rated one of the safest vehicles on the road according to Consumer Reports. I recommend anyone to refer to Consumer Reports for information on the vehicle you are interested in. Whatever Subaru you decide on, you will love it. Safe and fun vehicles.
That steel bar in the door frame also keeps the opposite doors in a side impact straight. When first responders get to an accident, they go to the opposite doors to get them open as quickly as possible in cars that don’t have that those doors bend and it’s harder to get them open costing valuable time, Subaru engineering is elite in the area of safety.
Why is the night visibility never mention in any of your videos. I’m having lots of trouble with being able to see on a dark road! Are the headlights adjustable? I have too drive with the brights on!
In Japan, the luggage has a switch to fold down the rear seat, which is very convenient, but it is not in the overseas version. The place for the switch is buried, and it seems that it will be possible to attach it.
I'll argue that the lack of pistons fighting gravity is a minimally noticeable benefit in modern engines, but agree with the rest of your points for the most part. I especially agree with the blind spots. Whenever I get in my wife's accent, it feels like I'm driving a windowless brick in comparison. Also as to your point about the lower center of gravity, I feel like you left out mentioning how much this matters despite the overall size of the vehicle otherwise because of just how much of the total vehicle weight is tied up in the engine alone, not to mention the transmission which is also brought low down to connect to the engine's drive shaft.
Thanks Alex. I called your dealership, bought two 10 year/100,000 mile contracts, one tire and wheel class tract and two dent and ding contracts. I demanded that you get the commission
A proven formula with standard AWD, can't go wrong here. It's no wonder why so many choose Subaru as their vehicles up North. Your videos are awesome brother, yes I'm a bit biased to Subaru, but your videos did influence in helping me make a decision and I just got a new MY23 Premium and I love it. You should ditch the CXZ and come to the Subie side ;) haha and this is coming from a former Honda everything owner..
I got an Ascent 2020 There's something else about Symmetrical all wheel drive meaning: The weight and, of course distribución of the power train is fully balanced.- left and right weight of the car.
The complaints of windshield cracking and breaking, batteries getting drained, rodents eating wires, continue for the 5th generation Forester. If not for that I would buy one.
The self breaking via eyesight can be quite jarring if activated almost like being in an actual accident but I guess with no damage to the car. At least on my 2018 Forester perhaps Subaru has fine tuned it a bit. more.
I used to work for subaru and There are still subaru oil filters on the bottom and they’re on a wrx, wrx sti and the H6 legacy/outback are on the bottom
Correct - it’s a person’s name too but yea go to Germany and you will always hear the “e” as well as in the dealerships in the US. :). One day…..maybe…..I will have one. :)
Yeah, well this is mur’ca and we beat the naTzees. Porsh. Although a few more years of Fox News and the alt-right and we’ll all be goose-stepping for kraut in lederhosen to planes to assist Russian aggression.
I’m planning on getting a forester. It’s the visibility that sold me. I hate the idea of the CVT but so many cars have them now it’s hard to get away from them.
Good think Cranky, it’s all a matter of perception. Like you said, today almost every auto brand uses CVT. On the other hand there is no other auto brand that has perfected the CVT like the Subaru. I am on my 4 Subaru. All of them “including the most hated Subaru (2019 Subaru Limited Ascent) Have been extremely reliable. My first one was a 2012 Outback which was given to my son in law. It’s still running with over 280,000 miles.
@@ericpizarro3084 Honda and Toyota cvt’s are flawless. They’ve been perfect from the start. Subaru uses a modified Jatco design (for the boxer engine) and it’s had its share of issues over the years. But as long as you change your cvt fluid every 30k miles it’ll be fine. It’s when you overheat them and drive them hard, the chain slip, solenoids, and the valve body’s varnish and burn up. -30 year master mechanic
A;ex: I have noticed the competition used the trunk volume i a specific way - below the trunk cover. Since Forester has great visibility, the trunk cover is relatively low and the rear window is big. So the trunk volume is misleading. When packed to the roof, Forester has great usability. Actually, trunk usability is very important for me and one of the big upsides of owning a Forester.
Alex, this was a very informative video on the Subaru vehicle! I am very happy with my 2022 Outback purchase and your video explains why! I am a subscribed viewer, keep up the great work!👍
what the heck?! is that a Tokyo Roki oil filter I see at 2:00?! why does a base model forester have the best oil filter and my outback limited has the garbage USA made blue filter? :(
I had a 2021 Subaru Outback Touring XT, and loved it. Now I own a 2023 Outback Touring XT. It’s much more comfortable, and I love the color. Dark Mahogany Pearl.
The blind spot detector/light should be in both positions (ie: in the mirror as well as outside of the mirror). I prefer to know if I am in someone blind spot when I approach them. If they cut me off, I can also audibly say that they moved into my lane while having the blind spot indicator light, light up, and my dash cam will pick up my voice stating such. May help with an insurance assessment.
Hi Alex, I've just purchase forester. Watched some videos in UA-cam how the brake mitigation works. My question is if your foot is on the brakes pedal, is mitigation still works? I try a little bit close to an object and I don't hear any alarm. The mitigation switch is on. Thanks. Jonathan
Thanks! Here's a video I made covering the trim level. The first 9 minutes of this video covers the base trim and standard features on the Forester. Let me know if you have any questions ua-cam.com/video/onaCkw3J8C4/v-deo.html
Waiting for my manual Crosstrek to arrive for April delivery. I just wish the Eyesight had been available. The CVT may be adequate for some operators, but I found it damningly unpleasant during the test drive.
@@BrunskitANM I hear you. But these days, you want to "correct" someone wearing huge sunglasses holding a Starbucks it's not Pouch - have fun. I don't think ppl at Pouch even care anymore.
I’m a Subaru fan and my first car was an 08 Impreza, but I have to say the stuff you said about the boxer is kinda false. The boxer doesn’t perform any better Due to gravity, when Subaru people talk about gravity it’s because the boxer is more compact and sits lower than a conventional engine. That lowers the center of gravity to aid cornering. However, the boxer engine is prone to blowing head gaskets because of how the oil is constantly on certain seals that wouldn’t be touched in a normal engine, They work great when they work, but do need more upkeep to prevent failure.
I can’t believe these have fans anymore. I’ve had 2 STIs since 2018 but they were manual and I am a big fan but I tried a Forester and just couldn’t get past the CVT. It was awful. The high revving drone and lack of pull/torque due to gearbox bearing slow was just painful. I want to love these, all they need to do is get rid of the CVT in the Forester and Outback. Bring some more powerful engines in the line up too. Subaru feels like they’ve lost their way.
Alex, I'm new to the channel. I've always wanted a Subaru but it never aligned. I've read about the longevity and reliability of the boxer engine. How does the turbo engine stack up? I recently test drove the outback and was impressed with the tightness and drive of the car. I appreciate your thoughts. Thanks.
@@alexpmo ok thank you I have a Subaru Forester 2013 and love it so much I want the same thing but thinking maybe hybrid is the future. I only have 90, 000 Kilometres (56,000 miles) so I could wait another 2 years then. I don't put much mileage
Wow! Bold statements at around 11:40. Subaru is not the only one which offers a complete stop if there's a traffic jam in front. My Škoda Kodiaq has it and let's not begin talking about Tesla which is entirely next level... 🤔
I have owned 11 Subarus consecutively, from DL Wagons in the early 90's, an Impreza, then a few Libertys (legacys), and then 5 Foresters from 2005 to 2019. I liked the practicality, the reliability, the all wheel drive, the safety. I had a moderate accident in the 2005 model and was impressed with how it protected me. My Dad much earlier on had a fairly serious accident in his Subaru Leone, with my Grand father also in the car, when a car turned in front of them at an intersection, and they both walked away from the car. But since my 2012 model my opinion is that Subaru has dropped the ball on their previous quality and reliability. In my 2012 Forester, after much stress and arguing with the dealer, they replaced my engine under warranty when it was using a litre of oil every 1,000 kms, almost from new till they replaced it at 30,000 kms. In m 2016 model, the Air conditioning compressor had to be replaced under warranty, and just out of warranty at about 100,000 kms / 5 years old, I had to have both rear wheel bearings replaced a few months apart, both front lower control arms replaced, the air conditioning condenser replaced, and it too has started using engine oil. We don't drive off road, and drive quite sedately. I never had these types of issues prior to 2012. And with my 2019 model I sold it on when it was just over a year old, still under warranty, when it had an intermittent jerking while accelerating. The dealer did what they called a 'relearn' on the CVT transmission several times but it did not stop the issue, and the Subaru dealer said they could not replicate the issue. Not wanting another battle with the dealer I sold it on, and after a long family association with Subaru, disappointingly I will never buy another Subaru. My thoughts are that at some point perhaps to save money, the quality of their component parts has decreased, and this has affected the poor reliability / longevity that I have experienced since 2012.
Subaru doesn't get enough credit for how well their cars handle. I have a 22 Crosstrek, and I can't believe how well it handles - even with all that ground clearance!
Some of them. The Forester, Outback, and Ascent are floaty and lean massively. The BRZ is simply remarkable. If you think your Crosstrek is good, you should’ve gotten a BRZ.
Very upset that Subaru is eliminating all physical controls and incorporating them in a gigantic center screen. Reaction time is slower going through the screens. This is a dangerous trend and prematurely ages the vehicles.
Been driving a Civic for 6 years and I'm looking at Subaru and Mazda. I've developed a hatred for the CVT transmission but I wonder if a Subaru CVT feels any different.
Touch less all day. Unless you want swirl marks. It’s a trade off your car will get less clean, but you won’t have those swivel marks which are permanent.
If you can find a local do it yourself car wash, with the spray nozzle and car wash soap, then that’s the best bet. A mobile car wash unit is also great. They come to you, and wash your car with the foam cannon, deionized water, vacuum the inside, etc. It can be expensive, but if you do some research, you might be able to find someone who is affordable.
@@m-cw7er touchless washes are known to contain harsh chemicals that eat away at the clearcoat. I’d stick with a soft touch car wash and use a high quality hand applied wax to correct and prevent swirls, which are mostly an issue of the past hard touch rubber and stick nylon bristled washes.
I’m trying to purchase a Subaru and the dealerships I’ve spoken to will not give me an itemized price sheet for the model I’m interested in ordering to build. Why do they make it so difficult to get that information? I’m getting really close to just buying a Tesla as it’s so much easier to do on their website, even though I really want a Subaru. Any help would be appreciated.
But in order to get any interior color other than Gloomy Grey or Boring Black is to buy the Touring so you can get the Saddle Brown. Also in mid spring of 24, the new Forester will have the Toyota hybrid system.
@@EdwardCBurton I’m a retired psychologist. Whenever there’s civil unrest, wars, economies are not secure people run to drab, dark colors. When there’s peace and economies are stable people flock to cheerful colors. My wife and I finished building our house in 19. It’s up about 1/2 up the 1/4 of a Mtn we bought. We painted our house yellow with white trim and Hunter green shutters. A neighbor who also lives on our private road but on the Cyn floor complained that our house is too cheerful. Their house is like 70% of the homes in the USA, gloomy grey with white trim. Their interior motif is dark and drab. Their cars are dark grey with black interior. They’re both heavy drinkers and seem depressed often.
@@Doc1855 I suppose I can see where you're coming from. Perhaps it's simply perception. I love the clinical gray of my Forester. Stately, futuristic and solidarity. It really does make me think of Star Trek. I'm not sure a bright "cheerful" color would have the same effect on me.
With summer around the corner, roadwork will be inevitable. The adaptive cruise /can/ keep you sane in slow and stop-n-go traffic. It will come to a stop, display “Hold” on the dash, and if you hit “resume” for the CC, it will start to follow the car in front of you again. Up to, and including, the set speed.
I wish the Eye Sight cameras on my '23 Crosstrek Limited were mounted flush to the windshield, their placement makes cleaning the interior surface a pain.
That’s odd they should be. At least they are on my 2016 Outback limited and 2014 Forester Touring. I had to pay extra for both as they weren’t standard then.
I have a Forester Wilderness and one of the very first things I noticed in my test drive was how large the windows were and how easy it was for me to see while driving. Absolutely love it!

How many miles can I get out of the Forester wilderness transmission?
If only they didn't come with CVT transmissions, this is the only car brand i'd drive
A fine tour on the models. Thank you Alex! 👍🇺🇸
I got an Ascent 2020
There's something else about Symmetrical all wheel drive meaning: The weight and, of course distribución of the power train is fully balanced.- left and right weight of the car.
Hey vato! You must be my Spanish brother!
Yes, the visibility forward is amazing.
My wife still managed to hit the lamp post in front of the house, but I have not issues :)
The complaints of windshield cracking and breaking, batteries getting drained, rodents eating wires, continue for the 5th generation Forester. If not for that I would buy one.
Thanks for the video I purchased a Subaru 2017 Forrester
I bought my 2015 Forester brand new, and still love it!
Hi Alex , I can't wait to see your Video on redesign 2024 Foresters . keep up the good work ,
Thanks! I’ll be sure to cover it once it’s been released 😃
Subaru is the best vehicle on the road in my opinion. Safest and also cheap to insure.
100% agree!
My first Subaru was a Legacy. I loved that car. My latest Subaru is the 2022 wrx. It may be my favorite car that I have ever owned!
Same here. First Subaru was a Liberty (Australia). Now Wrx vb, love both of them.
Germans pronounce the E at the end of Porsche. That’s why you’ve heard that pronunciation [porsh-uh].
Correct - it’s a person’s name too but yea go to Germany and you will always hear the “e” as well as in the dealerships in the US. :). One day…..maybe…..I will have one. :)
@@pda4you Hey, I can just pronounce it but don’t own it lol. At least I have my Subaru.

Traded a 1 month old 2023 RAV 4 for a 2024 Outback - much better vehicle for the money. Very happy with my Outback.
Many of these, is the reason I switched to Subaru. Very well done! Thank you for this. 👍
It’s still running with over 280,000 miles.
we have the 2019 Forestee and honestly most people wouldn't be able to tell
@@ericpizarro3084 Honda and Toyota cvt’s are flawless. They’ve been perfect from the start. Subaru uses a modified Jatco design (for the boxer engine) and it’s had its share of issues over the years. But as long as you change your cvt fluid every 30k miles it’ll be fine. It’s when you overheat them and drive them hard, the chain slip, solenoids, and the valve body’s varnish and burn up. -30 year master mechanic
In Australia the base model has blind spot monitor on the door mirror.
I love my 23 Impreza with the 5 speed but I hate not having eyesight mainly for the cruise control
HI, Alex, i saw two cable connecting the negative pole of battery. any reason? thanks.
Not sure! My guess is because the Forester is produced in Japan and the Outback is produced in the US?
I had a 2021 Subaru Outback Touring XT, and loved it. Now I own a 2023 Outback Touring XT. It’s much more comfortable, and I love the color. Dark Mahogany Pearl.
What is better as ADAS stereocameras or radars?
I love my Subaru Forester and Ascent.
Thanks. Jonathan
Hi @Alex. Love your informative videos. Wonder if you have had a chance to review the base Forrester trim?
Thanks! Here's a video I made covering the trim level. The first 9 minutes of this video covers the base trim and standard features on the Forester. Let me know if you have any questions ua-cam.com/video/onaCkw3J8C4/v-deo.html
Love is what makes a Subaru, Subaru
Waiting for my manual Crosstrek to arrive for April delivery.
I just wish the Eyesight had been available.
The CVT may be adequate for some operators, but I found it damningly unpleasant during the test drive.
I love a manual transmission, however, like you mentioned, Subaru stupidly makes you sacrifice features to get it.
What can you tell us about the software upgrades ?
If you own a Porsche you pronounce it any way you want.
Lol
Yeah but there’s a limit some ppl literally pronounce it pouch💀💀💀
@@BrunskitANM
I hear you. But these days, you want to "correct" someone wearing huge sunglasses holding a Starbucks it's not Pouch - have fun. I don't think ppl at Pouch even care anymore.
@@chrislim7976 yep
I pronounce my Porsche like this: Mazda.
However, the boxer engine is prone to blowing head gaskets because of how the oil is constantly on certain seals that wouldn’t be touched in a normal engine,
They work great when they work, but do need more upkeep to prevent failure.
Only thing I don't like about a Subaru is the CVT, and yes, I have a forester as well.
I'm curious, why don't all 2023's get the 3rd eye? Why is it exclusive to only some trims?
I can’t believe these have fans anymore. I’ve had 2 STIs since 2018 but they were manual and I am a big fan but I tried a Forester and just couldn’t get past the CVT. It was awful. The high revving drone and lack of pull/torque due to gearbox bearing slow was just painful. I want to love these, all they need to do is get rid of the CVT in the Forester and Outback. Bring some more powerful engines in the line up too. Subaru feels like they’ve lost their way.
I seriously doubt Subaru feels they've lost their way. They'd probably argue that point.
Thanks.
Very helpful to understand
Any comments on cvt transmission?
works well!
Would you know if the forester will come in a hybrid form for 2024?
I believe the 2024 forester will likely remain unchanged. We may see hybrid in 2025
@@alexpmo ok thank you I have a Subaru Forester 2013 and love it so much I want the same thing but thinking maybe hybrid is the future.
At 42k miles on 2017 outback odo why can't dealer tell me why dash is lit up like a pinball machine? :(
I have owned 11 Subarus consecutively, from DL Wagons in the early 90's, an Impreza, then a few Libertys (legacys), and then 5 Foresters from 2005 to 2019.
Thank you for all the info .I'm thinking of buying my second subaru soon .
Great assessment! I'd prefer the Forester with the moonroof and cloth seats in white pearl or silver.
Have a Gen 2 BRZ, fun little revving engine.
Awesome video, as always.
Love is what makes a Subaru a Subaru ❤
Subaru doesn't get enough credit for how well their cars handle. I have a 22 Crosstrek, and I can't believe how well it handles - even with all that ground clearance!
Some of them. The Forester, Outback, and Ascent are floaty and lean massively. The BRZ is simply remarkable. If you think your Crosstrek is good, you should’ve gotten a BRZ.
I've driven Outbacks and Crosstrek before and was impressed how they have the seating height of an SUV but turn like a car
Subies handle very neutrally. they are great on tires. but the boxer engine sits too far over the front axle which hampers handling
Great video…thank you for the useful info
great video Alex, really a lot of good info 💯
What type of car wash do you recommend, I don’t have a garage or hose option to clean my car
Subaru vehicles are awesome.
Battery issues??
But in order to get any interior color other than Gloomy Grey or Boring Black is to buy the Touring so you can get the Saddle Brown.
Also in mid spring of 24, the new Forester will have the Toyota hybrid system.
It's more like Star Trek gray to me. Sorry, I'm a fan.

I love my Subaru
That Base model looks kinda funky without the rear spoiler
So my 2020 Forester will break for me if someone is in front of me? I'll still pay attention but that's nice to know! Thanks!
@@thirdshiftsinger1729 thanks! That's great info!
Weird, I didn’t hear anything about the relationship head gaskets have with boxer engines.
Would you please make a video about evoltis?
