      Isn't this dangerous in fact?
      1. Since you need to get in place and position, they can see you coming if they know boxing.
      2. If you succeed, won't this do REAL damage and buy you an assault/manslaughter charge, since clearly you know how to box thus your hands are "deadly weapons"?
Even if you point at the chest to be safe, you risk breaking a rib or the breastplate.
Is it worth the legal risk?

Most probably they won't bother you much anymore because they won't see you as weak anymore. If it doesn't help learn a few punches. Learn basic self deffence, this is usually enough in school enviroments unless ,of course you're dealing, with a total psycho/bunch of psychos in wich case you will need legal advise. But you got this. Ive been there. Trust me I had a hard time at school for years. In my case, I was too skinny and shy. Don't let those bullies intimidate you and hit the gym. That's first.

I prefer to B-Slap my opponent into the face sending him flying twenty or thirty meters often ending with him/her crashing into a brick wall. My technique is ridiculous and my power is significant. That is usually enough to deter them before I have to throw the hammer down. Just my two cents. Your ideas pretty good too though.

I prefer to launch my ultimate technique to catch the opponent off guard and at the same time paralyze him in pain.
It's kind of like a one hit one kill kind of thing.
It basically targets men's ultimate weakness therefore it only works on men.
It's very powerful so I tend to use it as a last resort type of thing.

I prefer to slide down my shades and give them a shot of my piercing "Blue Steel" look. It stupefies them and drains all aggression and bad intentions from their bodies. They usually want to shake my hand afterwards to thank me for setting them straight. Sometimes I oblige them sometimes I just push my shades back up and slowly walk away.

  • @aqeefizzudin1062

I trained by myself but this is sure to come in handy
btw like the first tip, you need to punch straight and steady. Ball up that fist and stiffens your hand
second tip is to turn your body with the punch that you are throwing
and third tip is to exhale your breath when punching and inhale before throwing another punch so that your body wouldn't get too stiff when throwing a punch and some of the energy you used will get recover back (slightly)
and for the 'secret tip' is like my first one, STEADY and STABLE. When punching, you need to have balanced and control over your body and body weight to ensure a direct critical hit. Plant your feet on the ground with stability
also exercise for more power, practice for more accuracy and experience

  • @rmcgraw7943
    @rmcgraw7943 Рік тому +13

The end of your punch (or kick for that matter) should be like a whip reaching it’s full explosive potential, and you should drive THROUGH, not to, your target. The reason why many people’s punches are not straight and extended is because they or their target moves closer or farther away from them between the time you initiate the punch and the time it arrives. Quickness counts more than strength, but preferably you have both.

Hi Tony, love your videos and thank you. Something I learnt from chinese martial arts as a youngster... the noise when striking actually restricts exhaling which allows your body to pull oxygen better giving you more power. If you strike without the noise the chances are your expelling most of the air out of your lungs which depletes oxygen quicker making you weaker. Noises actually slow and restrict exhalation which increases power and delays fatigue. I guarantee next time you make a noise when you strike you will realise this. Noises decrease exhalation which helps 🙏🏼

When I was a teenager, I did 100 push-ups every day. But I didn't do boxing then. Now that I'm boxing, my punch itself has become more powerful, because in the past I've already started to improve it. I can hit a hard surface and it doesn't hurt. The force of the blow has also increased. Of course, in addition to push-ups, I did squats with jumps, pull-ups on the horizontal bar, but this does not change anything. Even 50 push-ups a day are better than walking around with an electronic cigarette and listening to the new rap

In the 1970's, Bruce Lee explained you hit with your body, the fist is just the point of impact. He also explained how this is done, starting at the back foot, then straightening the knee, twisting your hip, twisting at the shoulders, and all this energy is put behind your punch, punching your opponent with your body, and punching a foot or two past your target, effectively punching THROUGH your target. I'm here to tell you, this works.

It’s no wonder when someone who is “good at all sports” have this kinda motion

I learned this technique indirectly. I was swinging a stick and wanted to make a sound without using too much arm strength:
So I thought, I weigh 70kg, I have arm muscles, I have abdominal and back muscles, why not combine it all? (The shout is something i learned from karate: Stiffens muscles)

Of course I'm letting it get to my head, you know how good it feels to know you can come up with something in fighting and it's a real thing.

Some people are just naturally born with power. The odd time I sparred with my friends, they could punch fast and they would hit me but I wouldn't even take a step, until they ran into me, but I could land a punch with lower speed and have them falling over. I wasn't trying as I knew if I did I would hurt them and it was just for fun.
They were taller and could punch faster, but I outweigh them and I guess I naturally know how to transfer that mass to my fist, and I didn't even train. If I trained I would probably be a decent boxer. Obviously no Mike Tyson, but could hold my own against most amateurs.

I train 3-5 times per week with a much younger group of experienced fighters and twice a month, 1 on 1 with my boxing trainer. I have a few physical limitations (lumbar disc herniations and osteoarthritis in both knees) but shadow box, work on the bags and technical sparring. It’s never too late if you’re willing to accept that your body isn’t what it used to be but will be better for the training. Good luck 😎🇨🇦🥊

I really resonate with the other commenter here becuz ive also had neck and lower back disc injuries that ive had to deal with.. I also shadowbox, do mittwork, use the double end bag, double end prescion ball and work on technique and constantly improving form and my knowledge base ...I also sparred up until 3yrs ago ,its just a matter of finding like minded people who are game... I dont have the cardio of the young ones but I Do have knowledge and technical skill that has been aquired over time..best of luck to you brother!

Tony, did you watch the fight between Naoya Inoue and Stephen Fulton? He captured the weight class as soon as he moved up and went for the top dog. The champ dominated the fight and constantly applying pressure on Fulton, no wonder he's called the Monster 😂

When I was young someone showed me how to power punch. You turn your shoulders and hips into the punch. He would swing the heavy bag and punch it on it's way back to him and I practiced the same way. You can stop the swinging bag and send it flying the other way once you get the hang of it. I was in the California prison system when I was younger later on and there were some really huge and strong dudes in there. Like you've never imagined. Lots of them. There was a big black heavy bag on the yard by the weight pile and I used to swing it and punch it like I said. It was very heavy. I was not by any means one of the bigger people on the yard but out of 1,000 prisoners on that yard no one could hit as hard as I was. It helps if you're not a weakling but size and strength aren't the most important thing.

Target of punch should be behind the position of target...not just reaching to target. Next secret is, you should have some cruelty in mind while punching...

we do that in karate.Turn into the punch, driving it with hips and legs , "throw your butt at him"'. Kiai- explosive exhale tightening the core muscles so the power goes into him, rather than rebounding. Also- as you know well- punch through the target, not to the surface of the target.

Alot of boxing gyms are like that ! it used to be around 105 or more in one gym I taught at.. the overhead doors Could have been opened to let air In but the owner was adamant about making the guys sweat and work extra hard so he kept it shut..there was so little air in there, the space was small and the combined body heat of 15 or more guys drove the already brutal temps even higher! it was literally a hell box... I was in my late 50;s at the time and believe me, it was tough, even for the young guys but man, at my age I could barely stand it..while there was no AC ,there could have been air allowed in and I was against the owners logic here becuz it was Not improving the students, they were Less capable since the oxygen had diminished and the room was full of CO2..It would have been More productive to open the overhead doors and let the air in,even though it was hot as hell, it would have brought oxygen back into the room..no boxing gym ive ever been in had AC ,nor swamp coolers running.. they were Always old school and all about the Work...zero attention was given to making the enviroment hospitable, let alone comfortable....LOL

@@skip741x3 Well sir, you just inspired me to go back next week. I'm 37/M, and my coach is 62. We also, have no fan, or the like, but I get a pass to step 1/2 a foot onto the rocks for air, but back before the bell goes off. There's a lot that have come and gone but I've been there strong for 4 years. I think he might let me compete at masters this year. He made me a dangerous person in the ring. 37 keeping up with the 20'y old's is gratifying. I'd really like to coach one day.
