I do 10 minutes of rope and anytime I trip on the rope I knock out 10 pushups.
Then I use a weighted rope and do a set of 3 - 5min rounds with 1min rest. Again, anytime I trip on the rope I knock out 10 pushups. It's been a killer workout for me.
Edit: you guys all have been awesome and I hope you are staying disciplined. I no longer driver over the road but I’m still consistent with my workouts. I hope you all are too.

@pedromontalvojr4585 Maybe younger, agile amateur or pro boxers "maybe " but, definitely NOT the average John Q fitness guy. I've been boxing since 15. Never professionally just for sport and life long fitness. I'm 56 years old now. Started boxing at my local PAL in Queens NY. This will eventuality destroy your shoulders. Skip rope, try and do a bare minimum of 100 push up daily, jumping jacks, light heavy bag punching while running in place drills and light front , side rear, and bent over shoulder dumbell excercises with light dumb bell to exhaust ing the muscle will give you better shoulders than the average guy minus the injuries. Goodluck fellas🥊🥊

If you're extra nervous about form, try picking up a cheap little bag to hit at home for a month or so before taking your first class. I followed some home striking workouts to get the movements down, and people at the gym commented that I "looked like I had done this before," which was good enough for me lol.

Half of the people walking by thought I was insane, while the other half would ask if I was a personal trainer. The answer was no on both counts. I finally had to stop---or should I say "pause"---not because I couldn't do it anymore, but because at this age recovery is the beast. Hey man. I don't know if you read these, but I just wanted to write in my experience.
I've been boxing for a little over a year now, and I'm really starting to kick up the intensity and intelligence of my training. I saw this and thought I would give it a try, seeing as arms tiring during long sparring sessions has been a problem for me in the past.
The first time I attempted this set, I just couldn't do it. I couldn't go longer than 5 minutes with the 10 lb bells. I had to drop every set to 5 minutes, besides the jump rope. I don't know if it was just a mental block or legit hitting a wall with my physical conditioning, but I didn't have it in me to go on. That was a month ago.
Today, I finally got through every bit of this set and kept up the most intensity I could. Worked in some combos at the lighter weights as well. Thank you for setting the bar high and giving me a level of strength and conditioning to reach. Following this has given me a big boost in confidence and helped solve a problem of mine. Keep it up, brother. I appreciate it.

I think it's terrible advice to tell people to practice punching with heavy weight. You're going to wreck your punching form and establish bad habits for the minor gain you'll get... That's why the make things like egg weights that don't get to a heavy weight. Many coaches/fighters that have the credentials to back up their claims also say the same thing. If this is all it takes, why don't we see professional boxers shadow boxing with 30 lb weights lmfao.

I have a couple of questions.
How many times a week should you do this without?
Plus what kind of diet do eat to get wripped?
When you throw a hook, should the palm be facing myself or towards the floor?
    Appreciate anyone's answers to them.
