Good workout, I used to do shadow boxing with 2.5 or 5lbs, or 30 reps of front and side raises with 10-15lbs .. love doing like 10 rounds on the heavy bag just ripping hooks that seemed to help me figure out how to hit harder. I gotta workout hard again so easy to be lazy after work
i like this guy. if you go to his homepage you will read this: "You can be strong, you can be tough, but what good is all of that if you forget to be kind? The toughest fight one can face is showing love." that's a philosophy of strength i can get behind.
I think it's terrible advice to tell people to practice punching with heavy weight. You're going to wreck your punching form and establish bad habits for the minor gain you'll get... That's why the make things like egg weights that don't get to a heavy weight. Many coaches/fighters that have the credentials to back up their claims also say the same thing. If this is all it takes, why don't we see professional boxers shadow boxing with 30 lb weights lmfao.
This mixed with swinging a back of weights while doing the toe pivot and connecting the whole chain up to your hips and obliques makes you super super snappy

@@LapoliticsNo. A real fighter would tell you to not fight others. You could get killed.

Im not into fight sports but Holy shit, this is real workout! I just finished my second week and I can really feel sturdier hits when I use the punching bag. As person who loves to workout, this is savage! I can't wait to see how much improvement I get in a few months

You have such great tips and overall protocol. I am a referee with a degree in Exercise Science (pre research) A huge added benefit with these exer uses is that they for e you to move efficiently snd actually relax more.
I used to go kayaking for 3 hours with 10 lb ankle weights on my wrists... Try it! You'll see a change, just don't fall over and drown!
Cheers 🍻
i didn’t want to get up and workout today but this video convinced me 😭
I used to do that 2 days a week, for about 4 years..
i believe it wore down my left rotator cuff. i would recommend no more then 3lbs
Really? Is this true??
Absolute perfection. Great workout, honest info, contagious energy. Quote at the end is the perfect cherry on top. My man. Instant sub, no question. What a great channel I just found.
Wow I was using weights to punch at LA Fitness the other day and hitting heavy bag with 14 ounce venom gloves ...I'm gonna definitely go to gym tommorow to practice ur technique from this video thanks bro 🙏 🔥
appreciate you brother!!! let me know how it goes!!!
Haven't done boxing for a while.
And I tell you this make my shoulder burning!
Beast of a workout and spectacular physique. Love the ending with "train hard and be kind". Keep it up brother.
Appreciate you brother!!!!
I bought boxing gloves and wraps yesterday. I’m going to be having fun, doing this workout before practicing on a bag.
God bless you, and have a terrific day.
Obrigado por isso!
Saudações do Brasil!🇧🇷🥊💪🏾
He's fit...great rope work, and dumbbell shadowbox very impressed..I'm a boxing coach..involved for over 40 years
Damn this seems absolutely fire! Seems amazing for shoulder endurance and def punch power. Thanks for the workout bro! Def gonna try this
Appreciate you brother!!! Hope you’re having a great day!!!
Whata good thing to say and powerful calmness " train hard and be kind " nice on my man!
And this training is very very mentally tough , i believe that much origress are about to come from this!
Let’s Go!!!
Alright. I did 7 minutes Jumprope follow by light jog. 5 minutes with 10lbs dumbbells was an absolute struggle. Followed by 5 minutes shadow boxing with 5lbs. That felt great. Overall I am smoked and enjoyed the challenge.
get it brother!!! just keep consistent with those 10lbs dumbbells and it'll get easier!!!
@@CHEZCANTERE this is my morning routine. Day 3 and I am adding some more footwork and getting used to the burn 🔥. Thanks for lighting that spark.
@@mosjeffinately7822 definitely brother!!! please do keep me updated with your journey!!!

Healthy, humble, respectful, and disciplined. All attributes of one bad ass martial artist. Training hard and staying kind my dude
Appreciate you always brother!!! Hope you’re having a great day!!!
Salute brother, this is a serious training regime. It will build a lot of muscular endurance and really help inthe end of the round/ in later rounds.💪💪
I can't even handle your jump roping. 😮 MAD RESPECT!!!!!! 👊🥊
Good workout, I used to do shadow boxing with 2.5 or 5lbs, or 30 reps of front and side raises with 10-15lbs .. love doing like 10 rounds on the heavy bag just ripping hooks that seemed to help me figure out how to hit harder. I gotta workout hard again so easy to be lazy after work
10 rounds is savage brother!!! Hope your training is still going well!!!
@@CHEZCANTERE thanks! I dont train like I used to, but it definitely feels great to work the bag for a few hard rounds get the lunges pumping
i like this guy. if you go to his homepage you will read this:
"You can be strong, you can be tough, but what good is all of that if you forget to be kind? The toughest fight one can face is showing love."
that's a philosophy of strength i can get behind.
Guys like these idiots need content , they gona say anything
Reminded me that putting the right effort towards what’s simple is simply a recipe for success, great stuff!
This mixed with swinging a back of weights while doing the toe pivot and connecting the whole chain up to your hips and obliques makes you super super snappy
I used to use a floor stranding makiwara punching post.
Still have it cemented in garage floor ,but no longer use it.When i did use it every day ,i developed hard hands and a powerful straight punch.
Age 83 now and no arthritis .
Thank you Chez - I'm going to incorporate this.
I just ran across this workout. I’ve never boxed but this looking intense. I’ve been exploring new workout routines and I’m definitely going to add this and see how feels. Thank you for the inspiration.

Hell, at 51-years-old, still do my 5-7 miles of roadwork IN combat boots caring 2-pound weights in each hand!!!! Once in a while, i carry 1-pound dumbbells!!!!

Attempted that last night. Felt great! Definitely worth adding to your routine. Thanks for sharing
Hi, this is a great workout. I am 51 and for about 5 days have been doing this with 1.5kg dumbbells, can't do the ten minutes just 7/8 minutes each.
I have a couple of questions.
How many times a week should you do this without?
Plus what kind of diet do eat to get wripped?
When you throw a hook, should the palm be facing myself or towards the floor?
Appreciate anyone's answers to them.
Thanks you for the video.
Dude, you gotta be a Warrior to handle that pain, that muscle burn... You're not lying though.
Awesome and saved it bud! Thanks for sharing and peace!
Wow......
You are extremely talented and gifted with that jump rope! Your boxing skills are excellent also.

Adding this as a warm up before my workout.
