The main reason why "normal" (social and peaceful) people lose street fights is that they don't believe they're really in a street fight before they're bleeding flat on the ground. And this is in fact a civilization-problem that is hard to train away. Nevertheless, as a long-time Boxing fan I love your content. Great work. Greetings from Germany
Totally agree and the truth is most trouble or altercations take a really long time to wind up but because people are not fully aware of what's going on around them they miss multiple opportunities to walk away or exit the potential situation much earlier.
The best advice here is to put your hands up and your foot back. Don't tackle, don't offer to shake, and don't act tough or you have a low chance of winning. Make it difficult for them to hit you and take your shot if it's there. The smartest advice was to leave if you can back away and don't fight.
I agree it’s extremely wise to leave , however if you’re with your children and don’t have that option and the other person is determined to fight, you must do anything you can to defend your family
@@ramsaybolton7464good thing I don’t have a family or friends to defend. I’m one man in life walking quietly through and no one has tried me in my 27 years as an adult (I’m 45) even in some of the worst neighborhoods in America… never had to defend myself with physical violence. And I’m a 5’9” white guy. I walk like I belong where I’m at. I’m respectful. I keep my chin up, eyes aware, but know when to look away.
Not true sometimes you cant avoid the fight and stay standing with your hands up is the worst advice. Actually taking down the attacker is a pretty good advice
I feel that if someone is open for a handshake after saying you dont wanna fight, people that want to fight won't even entertain this. You're just suckerpuncing honest people that want to recognize mistakes or whatever. People that want to hurt you won't entertain you with a handshake.
Yeah maybe but that "honest" person was still an asshole and needs a knock in the head to remember next time to not only be honest but also not an asshole.
Tony, you had it spot on 0:45 especially here in Canada. I knock the guy out, i'm going to jail. I hurt him, i'm in trouble. I get knocked out, i'm going to the hospital. Always walk away unless you cannot absolutely avoid it. Great video
You SHOULD go to jail if that's the only result of self defense. You'll get off later. Defend your life and body. You don't need to convince police of anything to get let go. That's for the judge.
What if someone in your family or ur friends got hurt because of these random shit guy. R u still gonna walk away or knock out that guy now? Like me as long as no one hurting me im not gonna do reckless. Im just walking away and avoid fighting.
Imagine 2 guys who learnt this got into a fight and both of them says "lissen mae I don wona foayt" Then shake eachother's hands then proceeds to hook eachothers faces 😂
the hands up defensive position does one other important thing. it lets bystanders and witnesses and cameras see you are not the aggressor. this is important for a legal defense later
@davidn6584 You can actually strike first, the minute someone threatens you, which could be "I'll kick your ass" or could be him getting up in your face real close, or even putting his hand up and coming at you - all of these are considered assault. If he hits you, that's battery, but assault alone creates a credible threat of eminent great bodily harm, which is all the justification, legally, that you need to do anything necessary to protect yourself.
I did construction in Alaska and was challenged often. My reaction was as much verbal aggression and to say I was happy to fight. I was not afraid to get hit and they knew it. Worked every time, only got in one minor scuffel.
As someone who knows a wee bit about wrestling, if you’re going for the dive against the other guys’ legs, you better know what you’re doing. Do not try that the first time you’re in a fight: chances are you’re going to get a knee in the face, a punch from the side or fall down together and have to roll around fighting on the floor/pavement.
I agree-I think this shows up the guy as not a street fighter/unarmed combat specialist. In all the training I’ve had the advice was to avoid ending up on the floor in a street fight: there seems to be a very good chance that you’ll go down with your opponent if you try to dump tackle them as suggested.
agreed, unless one is proficient in BJJ or grappling, avoid the ground. stay evasive and aware, stop fight if possible, otherwise keep distance and strike hard when you have an opening
Great advice. I want to present anyone and everyone a scenario my father told me years ago. ( i boxed and took Judo for sometime.) So at times i thought i was a badass. My father stated the following. One hit, just one hit to someones temple , you kill somebody and you’re going to jail. The same is true for your own life as well. Just stuff to ponder if you’re considering not walking away from a fight.
Not the hardest man on earth by a long shot, but as a youth I loved scrapping in the streets. Anyone who puts their hands up in front of their face but a distance away has prepared for this and I’m going low with straight right to centre mass, which is a fight ending shot. Anyone who puts their left hand out to shake is taking the mick and gonna get rocked straight on that exposed jaw without a second of hesitation. Anyone who shakes a man’s hand as an agreement they don’t want a fight and then throws a sucker punch isn’t defending himself, he’s pulling a c*nts trick and becoming the aggressor in one, which a court of law will agree with 99% of the time. The only solid advice in all this if you’re not out looking for the fight is to just walk or run away as needed. The takedown works on big guys and I have used it, but if done fast it leaves someone falling backwards to the pavement with a lot of momentum and no way to cushion the blow, unless trained as a stunt man / entertainment wrestler, which could lead to death. Lucky for me I never seriously hurt anyone, as well as never got seriously hurt. Now I’m an older and hopefully wiser man, I know that win or lose, you’re risking too much. Walk away and get on with your life if it’s an egos fight. If it’s a life or death situation you wanna prepare for, train the 400m sprint.
If they think you're afraid, they will come after you and/or their friends will too. Speaking from experience using both methods. I can't think of a time when I told someone I didn't want to fight they weren't emboldened and started throwing anyway. When I've set up in a boxing stance and said let's go, they're shocked and don't want to fight or get get nailed a few times they go down and say they don't want to fight...then of course when the bouncers or their friends break it up, they get mouthy and fake tough again and that's when you can LOL.
Agree entirely. To say nothing of the fact that a lot of fights are alcohol fuelled. So common sense goes out of the window. Walk softly but carry a big stick.
I did that stance a few years ago in a bar to a mouthy punk. I used the old school boxing stance like 19th century boxing. The dude didn't know what to think but he still wanted to fight someone. He put the bouncer in a headlock who was just sitting on a stool and I sat back down, drank my beer and observed the scrum that ensued with the majority of the patrons in the bar. I tried fighting my dad when I was a teenager and that's the way he put his dukes up. I didn't know what to do and proceeded to get my ass kicked.
Bad news, friend. If you're in a face to face confrontation with someone who is paying any attention and you start to unholster a firearm, your firearm is no longer your firearm. It's now OUR firearm as you can expect the other person to be much faster to reacting and reaching to stop you than you are with your silly 4 steps.
@@prepped8551Yes. And that’s why gun people are dumb. You’re just opening yourself up to a long prison sentence and the fact that MOST altercations do not require murder.
I noticed you didn't mention your hands up helps guard the face. Part of my boxing journey was watching Mr. Jeffries explain to me how to do things. I was experiencing severe anxiety. Boxing gave me my confidence back, it helped me overcome anxiety and boosted myself esteem. If you're new to boxing listen well, he's an Olympian for a reason.
Videos like this are golden. Ive only been in 1 street fight and its something I would not want to repeat. Thinking of the legality of what could happen. I worked many years in a county jail and one time I was shoved from behind on the street after the guy shoulder butted me walking from the other direction. Needless to say didnt end well for him. I dont care for fighting and what I did was reactive and I had witnesses from the bar this guy left from (bouncers). This guy was drunk/high and was having a bad day after bouncers kicked him out of the bar. I wish I would have learned more from my grandfather who was a Golden Gloves boxer.
I think the assumption here is the 98 per cent (56.34 per cent of statistics are made up on the spot) of people who have no idea how to fight will likely fall for it.
@@youngshiba they don't have to be real fighters to hurt you even with these techniques. Don't try this, believe me, especially if you didn't practice them over and over and over with a real life coach. Only then these techniques could help
This is the funniest video I seen yet! I like to keep my distance so I can see what his attack may be, gives me time to counter, always keep your distance, when possible!
Sadly as a person who'd been involved in 100+ Street fights before walking away from the scene in my early 20's to avoid jail...I can chime in here....drink is the main catalyst...you fight less when not around drunk people...when you're around drunk people you end up fighting more.but are also usuallydrunk....but you're also useless...as are they...these tips are great...but there's no time to think Sadly.....once you go past flight or fight your on auto pilot
Very true! Once most people are hit, their adrenaline is through the roof and they lose a lot of cognitive and thinking ability. Same thing in Combat, once the shit hits the fan, those with experience typically know better how to react (practice and training / experience) and those who aren’t prepared, are more likely to fail. I agree that being around drunks often leads to more fighting. I worked Security for a number of years, and when alcohol was involved it was more a question of when a fight would happen, and not if
That was very articulate, coming from someone who's obviously punch drunk and suffering the very real effects of multiple concussions. If I was being optimistic I'd say that comment was at a 2nd grade level! Great job, gold star! Go put it on the refrigerator, special boy!
When I Was In Street Fight, I would Use a Sneaky Punch By Standing In front of them and step back and throw a powerful Left Punch (I'm Southpaw Btw, My left hand Is Strong) This is for close Range. Another Best Way to avoid Is to kick to the groin and run away or Push Kick to the body and run away. Edit: Also, Merry Late Christmas.
I heard a story where a marine got challenged and told the guy leave me be ill hurt you. Other guy persist and the marine says ok and puts his hands up as if to box and in a flash thumb gouges the guy hard in his eyeball. I can't validate this story but what I take it as is, walk away. You may not just get knocked out...
One point here that is critical..before you put your hands up, make sure that you have already stepped back and created the safe distance. If you put those hands up and you are within your opponents attack range, then your opponent thinks you are ready and wanting to fight and may respond before you have a chance to realize ...as he sees this as a threatening body movement.
I'm now a senior, big deal about that, but i gotta do things differently for the rest of my life. -1. Go out as less as possible on the "streets". -2. Always watch my back, there's so many e-bikes and scooters these days, it drives me nuts. -3. Walk away from dopes, drunks, punks and thugs asap, and avoid eye contact.
In a Street Fight. The one throwing the last punch wins the fight. First punches rarely end the fight. Unless the guy is a Beast, and just has stupid strength. Most street fighters go for the head first, that is their mistake, they are so exposed, body taut, and when they miss, that counter punch to the kidney is going to hurt like a MOFO.
Man the point is to get everything explained by a professional around your area and actually practice there is NO WAY you win after watching this once, you probably won't remember you saw the video rn
I got into some stupid fights in my 20s, which I am not proud of. After that I became very effective at deflecting fights. By my 30s I was very glad that I was avoiding fights, but I was worried that I was losing the ability to fight. Today I am still in my 40s, and still very good at deflecting fights, for myself of others. However it is still at the back of my mind, that I might one day need the man who can fight.
Same here! In my early 50's and in the last 10 years I have been confronted with several situations, one which included three scumbags trying to get punches to land. key word, DEFLECTION! And I walked away...
Remember how _Léon: The Professional_ trained his assassin? The more skilled one is, the closer in one can go. High-end fighting skill becomes like an opposite to that idea: the area of affect moves farther and farther away from the opponent, until becoming entirely abstract. Now that I'm in my mid-40's (having both received _and_ dealt my share of physically-induced discomforts), I've become a sort of Obi-Wan figure, who now finds it best to deal out long-distance injuries using a keyboard. The only pain (from too much training) is in my lower back. The Margaritas help, though.
@@garonjohnson5922 actually sounds like a really good idea, but there's a slight problem 30 years ago I hurt my shoulder in a bar fight, and it's come back to haunt me. I deal with the pain everyday.
Great tips! For situations where the challenger is experienced and not inebriated, more experience and training is definitely needed (especially if / when you end up on the ground!). Your comment on doing what you can to avoid a fight is excellent! Situation dictates a lot, and if it’s you against multiple attackers, it may be better to get away if possible. Avoid a fight until it’s unavoidable, then do everything you can to come out on top, especially if you feel your life is in danger. Thanks for sharing!
Tonny Jerffries, thanks to share valuable info regarding street fight. Thanks for tricks and pitfall that any person can fall victim because during that time people are full of rage and do not think properly. 1. Distracting opponent, 2. Distracting opponent and blocking his vision. 3. Try to mimic as if terrified by opponent, and then attack him unexpectedly and he would be taken by surprise. 4. Handshake is sign of friendship and peace deal and if opponent agree to this , then it is very good thing to end up street fight but making it trick to attack opponent is morally and ethically is very wrong. but I am very grateful that you showed me this handshake trap and trick because it could be used by my opponent against me so by other way thought it is very insightful about Trogon Horse attack can be possible even in street fight and do not fall to prey. Now, I am fully aware of it.
Love you tutorials so much Tony Jeffries. The moment i watched your How to fight like Mike Tyson video I loved boxing. And your like the only person I watch these days. Keep up the good work!
Which we were already aware of. So your comment is super helpful. If you couldn't tell I learned my lesson. So what is the point of you insulting people?
Way back in college, I knew someone who was in the Marines and then went to college. One time we were discussing fighting (if you ever have to), and he said stiffen your hand and jab them the fingers hard in the throat. I've never had to do that, but it's always in the back of my mind.
I'm not a professiona(trained)l fighter or a boxer and I have indulged in many street fights for years,in some of the fights,I have won and the other person ran away.On the other hand, some of my fights ended with no result and some people started to stop us but the ones who saw me fighting told me that you fought really good. Some of my rules are following: 1:You should be confident and not fear from your enemy. 2:You should attack first and not give the other for reaction or hitting time. 3:As street fights are not like boxing fights which include the referee who can stop you,so you should not stop and hit with all of your courage.❤❤❤
Thank you! I taught self defense classes for 10 years. The first lesson is don't do it, avoid it, get space, run. Fighting is the last resort (protecting a child, cornered). Glad to hear you say that first. Hope people listen. I'd add teaching open hand punch. If you don't learn how to punch you can break your hand.
A grunt Marine in the Vietnam War, I've learned over decades different methods to disable an opponent in seconds. In my 50s, I learnt to end a fight quickly by striking the clavicle (collar bone). When a thug came close to me, I put up my hands, and said I can't fight. I just got out of the hospital. Then I went for his clavicle. Fight over. And, there is no permanent injury.
@TangoDelta70 thanks, and the same to you. But, long ago I realised that I really served the people who own the country. Banksters, and the military-industrial national security complex. Major General Smedley Butler USMC (ret. 1935) said it best in War is a Racket'. Take care Dude.
Great video Tony! I just want to thank you for the training with Michelle Khare, and let all of us admire her - She is Unreal! The most technical boxer in that event! Mega respect for Andrea her opponent too, because to be to the end against Michelle is Above the Line!
You are the pro boxer and I am just an ordinary black belt, but i have doubts about your advice. tackle the guy? do you really want to be on the ground with a bigger, stronger, more aggressive guy? he might get on top of you and really pound you, or he might have friends. Long lead right hook? fine if you're a pro. tho even a pro might break his hand socking someone in the chops w/o taped up hands. Mike Tyson did. More likely the punch will miss, or not be powerful enough. I like the spinning back kick. Very few people even know what it is so they don't expect it. And it will drop almost anyone, esp. if you hit them just below the belt. The Muey Thai heavy round kick is another real stopper. of course, kicks and punches both take a lot of practice.
The spinning back kick I learned while taking martial arts with Chuck Norris studio in Los Angeles. Once I learned that kick I was amazed at the amount of travel you get from the moves. It looks so very different/odd that most dudes may not even recognize it. The momentum from the moves upon impact can send a guy flying and busted up .very powerful. Uses big muscles of the legs and motion.
You my friend are a thinker! I also like to teach my girls the spinning back elbow, for guys grabbing their waist. The one where he suggest going to body hooks when missing the first punch and ending up in a thai plum seems like asking for trouble, Once you have them in a clinch, it’s time for elbows, Knees and headbutts
Spinning back kick is basically a moving donkey kick. Any momentum added by the attacker is amplified by the impact of the inertia of the kicking action. Your base is solid, anticipating contact, and the attacker is moving toward the defensive move, exponentially amplifying the impact. Basically, a piece of fruit heading towards a brick wall, in rapid fashion...
#1 - as a former wrestler, and current wrestling coach. I will say this. Size 100% matters when taking a shot on a larger framed person, or just bigger thsn you in general. You so NOT wanna risk getting UNDER some one bigger thsn you hittng a blast double is asking for trouble, and a lot of pain.
Instead of saying, I don’t want to fight, throughout my life I would always say please don’t make me defend myself. That really makes them think otherwise.
Raise your hands exactly as Tony says, pretending to be afraid. Wait for him to get closer. In a lightning fast move, stick both your thumbs deep inside his eyes, reaching for the retina with all your might. Fight is over.
The punch that starts from the hip is the one that lands.. Alabama Joe. Worked for me. Basically stiff armed the guy and punched for the back of his head to get the follow through knock his block off kind of punch. My one and only punch ever and it almost knocked the big guy out. To my surprise he had blood running from 3 places. Brow, nose and cheek.
I'm a 58 yr old woman, training on my boxing bag helped me win a fight against a person who tried to challenge me to a fight on a job, I got fired but that was the best fight I gave to my coworker. 😅 The fight did not last long. I think I channeled Mike Tyson spirit that day.
Rorion Gracie teaches in an old Gracie Jiu Jitsu vhs w/his brother Royce as his assistant that when you shoot for the clinch, get your feet set and pull the clinch in hard. Then lift up slightly, lean into the opponent and quickly hook one of his legs with one of yours. This results in a fast takedown. As you're about to hit the ground, you'll be on top and put even more of a crush on the opponent. Right then use your right hand to grab their left shirt collar and your left hand to grab their right shirt collar. Then use a pushing scissor motion to choke out your opponent if necessary. You could also drop elbows from that position as well.
Whaaaat?! Ur advice is horrible.. there is a saying in Russia we have even Putin said it once in interview.. its old and came from streets.. "If fight is imminent, always punch first" u have the best chances of winning... Because if someone hits u.. then u defending and u dont win wars by defence
How about trying deescalation first. Like saying I know you are feeling angry. I am sorry and I don’t want to fight. Let’s not make the situation worse than it is already. We can work it out and move on. Then step away but still facing the other person while quickly checking where you are going, with your hands up or make the peace symbol✌️ Then leave the area as quickly as possible. This is one possible way, but every situation is different. Rules of engagement say to be honest, so don’t try shaking someone’s hand and then surprise fight them. Fight fair if you really need to as a last resort. If you shake someone’s hand, make it an honest real handshake and then go your separate ways peacefully. Love can win!
That looks like a BJJ takedown in number one. Geoff Thompson emphasised the need for deception then attacking. I'm less likely to use fists and more knees and elbows, which deliver more power and are less expected than fists (and elbows can be delivered at close range).
To be honest. Entering a grapple is difficult if they're heavier. I'd always strike first to disorient and then move to grapple. Exception is if they're taking first swing and then you can do a throw it (requires training for automatic reaction).
When he talks about putting hands up making their eyes focus on them he is 100% correct. I used to do magic and I actually demonstrate this using a deck of cards. I would tell you that I can make your eyes focus on a point in space and you can't do anything about it. I hold a deck of cards around waist height in front of me. Then I take about 1/2 the deck with the other hand and as I say "make your eyes focus" I raise the cut cards up to about chin level showing them the face of the card. 100% WITHOUT FAIL their eyes are focused intently on that card. I could do ANYTHING with that other hand right in front of their face and they would be clueless within the few seconds they are focused on that card. When he says they will be focused on your hands.... I can say yes, without FAIL 100% of the time they WILL be focused on your hands.
Seen a fight in outskirts of Glasgow pub, which ended up in a 'square go' outside....when the 2 of them went outside the smaller one went into the fight stance and started bobbing on his feet duking and diving.....The other guy just held his hands up and walked away...Which was just as well really as the short guy had been a successful amateur and now trainer!
As an experienced Martial Artist, I've toyed with numerous "Street Scenarios," and have picked out the most effective ones. I'm not here to give away my personal secrets....but I Am willing to Share one or two. On that 2nd move he showed, where he turns away, and then pivots Right back to throw a Hook; What I do, is a bit more reliable. A big, Sweeping Hook is easier to detect than a quick BACK FIST, to the Head! However, the Back Fist is mostly a "FEINT." Just in case my Opponent reacts to it. As my waist, and hips are rapidly turning Toward him, I am simultaneously tossing a STRAIGHT THRUST to his stomach. I also Crouch down, and cover Up, as I'm throw ing this devestating punch. It is extremely hard to AVOID! I can Pretty much attest to at least a 95% chance of landing this type of attack....IF you have decent Speed, Power, and Technique. To have these qualities, it takes Practice.....Obviously! Therefore----Do NOT attempt a New technique unless you've Worked on it enough to feel Confident.
You will find very few videos that tell you the absolute basics of how to engage when it’s a question of fight or flight. These guys are experts and so they can identify their targets and hit them with precision. This takes years of knowledge and practice but seems so easy on the screen. Almost all strikes are to the head and upper body and therefore also look impressive. These exercises are for the Dojo, not for street emergencies. Hitting others in the face is definitely not recommended - these days there are always those with phone cameras and that sort of evidence if the police turn up will always go against you initially - although it’s a natural instinct when we give in to our emotions instead of keeping focused on the main aim and that is to injure your opponent correctly so as to then go to the next phase which is flight. Dropping someone to the floor and then going down with them is also a no-no in the street, the most unsuspected individuals could join in and speed of execution is your goal. Now, the most important thing to keep in mind is that someone with an injured leg can’t run. This must be your priority: neutralize the leg. One leg is enough and the advantage is that there are two of them, versus one head, so you can choose whichever side suits you best. When confronted raise the arms as if to offer surrender. This catches the opponent off guard, keeps your head protected and also acts as an upper body stabilizer for the kick. Don’t kick with your toes out in front - much the same as with the hand; fingers and toes break with relative ease, that’s why punching isn’t recommended and open palm strikes are - use the heel instead. A sideways motion catching and displacing the kneecap is ideal. If you miss, you’ll at least have made the leg double sideways and if not breaking something is at least extremely painful; a straight blow to the knee will make the opponent feel sick and if hard enough will have them out of the game for long enough for you to get away. Also, on camera, it doesn’t show you to be either an expert or willing to inflict purposeful injury, rather a clumsy, spur of the moment way out. Now start practising at home so your “clumsiness” is highly effective. Like the man said, the more you do it, the better at it you are.
Great videos Tony! Regarding these tips, great for a trained, former professional, fighter like you who knows exactly what they are doing, but think for a normal person not so easy to execute safely. If the opponent reacts quickly to your tip number 1 (take down) one might receive a knee to the head or end up hitting the head to the ground when both fall. Regarding tip 2, you might break your fists (if you miss) and tip 3, when someone is extending their arm to you for shaking hands and you would punch him you might face legal consequences.
What punch would you throw in a fight? Let me know!

You know what else is great for legal defense? Not striking first!
Never lost a street fight. Most of my punks your punks
So if someone threatens you with assault, can you bear a firearm against them? If you are truly in fear for your life?
I did construction in Alaska and was challenged often. My reaction was as much verbal aggression and to say I was happy to fight. I was not afraid to get hit and they knew it. Worked every time, only got in one minor scuffel.
And that's why most people loose or are intimidated into flight. They're afraid to get hit. You're not made of glass
It sucks you were involved with mean people wanting to hurt you. I am glad you are safe!
I was looking for this comment bros bugging I lost a lil faith in this bud after that
I agree-I think this shows up the guy as not a street fighter/unarmed combat specialist. In all the training I’ve had the advice was to avoid ending up on the floor in a street fight: there seems to be a very good chance that you’ll go down with your opponent if you try to dump tackle them as suggested.
Not only that but just because you might have got the opposition on the floor it doesn’t mean that’s the end of it.
@@nathanburden4373 Now if it was really a 1 v 1 and yoy know JJ, then the ground is heaven 😅
agreed, unless one is proficient in BJJ or grappling, avoid the ground. stay evasive and aware, stop fight if possible, otherwise keep distance and strike hard when you have an opening
Great advice. I want to present anyone and everyone a scenario my father told me years ago.
( i boxed and took Judo for sometime.)
So at times i thought i was a badass.
Absolute nonsense
Biggest hard man on the internet goes to this clown today 😂
Or the other guy could simply step away and watch you fall on your face.
I don’t think you’ve ever even fought a cold bro.
As a former bouncer/door man I agree 100%
Agree entirely. To say nothing of the fact that a lot of fights are alcohol fuelled. So common sense goes out of the window. Walk softly but carry a big stick.
I assume you’re a big guy. I’m average height, 140 pounds. No one would get any satisfaction beating me up.

Also wouldn’t that get you done for manslaughter?
That takes too long in a close encounter.

Guys, if you are not a fighter don't try any of these things as a real fighter will not fall for it and will seriously hurt you for messing with him.
I think the assumption here is the 98 per cent (56.34 per cent of statistics are made up on the spot) of people who have no idea how to fight will likely fall for it.
another thing is how many of those idiots messing around on the streets are actually trained fighters.

True story with the same background!
I worked Security for a number of years, and when alcohol was involved it was more a question of when a fight would happen, and not if
I had a friend who worked on capital punishment cases who told me to stay out of bars after ten-- that's where and when many capital cases start
Really good point!

Another Best Way to avoid Is to kick to the groin and run away or Push Kick to the body and run away.

never shake hands with trash. Distance.

Greetings from Bulgaria!
In a street fight the first punch to land usually wins the fight.
I like how u explains everything in a short vid
Thanks ma man, means alot 👊
Man the point is to get everything explained by a professional around your area and actually practice there is NO WAY you win after watching this once, you probably won't remember you saw the video rn
I got into some stupid fights in my 20s, which I am not proud of. After that I became very effective at deflecting fights. By my 30s I was very glad that I was avoiding fights, but I was worried that I was losing the ability to fight. Today I am still in my 40s, and still very good at deflecting fights, for myself of others. However it is still at the back of my mind, that I might one day need the man who can fight.
Continue drilling, along with cardio if you have the chance.
Why don't you shadow box and train to keep yourself fresh? Why not go to a gym and spar?
@@garonjohnson5922 actually sounds like a really good idea, but there's a slight problem 30 years ago I hurt my shoulder in a bar fight, and it's come back to haunt me. I deal with the pain everyday.
I freaking love Tony’s energy! Awesome guy. Definitely try to avoid the fight, of course, but win real fast and real decisive if necessary.

I'm not a professiona(trained)l fighter or a boxer and I have indulged in many street fights for years,in some of the fights,I have won and the other person ran away.On the other hand, some of my fights ended with no result and some people started to stop us but the ones who saw me fighting told me that you fought really good. Some of my rules are following:
1:You should be confident and not fear from your enemy.
2:You should attack first and not give the other for reaction or hitting time.
3:As street fights are not like boxing fights which include the referee who can stop you,so you should not stop and hit with all of your courage.❤❤❤
How about throat punches, eye gouges and groin kicks?

This is pretty terrible advice. If you're not trained, you should not make any offenses are aggressive moves. It's not gonna work.

Step 1 should be don’t wear your pants in your socks 🤦♂️
To be honest. Entering a grapple is difficult if they're heavier. I'd always strike first to disorient and then move to grapple. Exception is if they're taking first swing and then you can do a throw it (requires training for automatic reaction).
if they are 1.5x+ your weight and its not pure fat.... do not grapple

I love how the old school travellers fought 1 on 1 with a referee. No clinching ect or kicking if they go down. Just proper stand up clean fights.
