- This custom built & tuned ST185 All-Trac has been in a constant state of build and modification for about the last 15 years. The owner has done everything himself and the work and parts are all top notch. Although he ran into some hick-ups this afternoon, he is planning for a quick resolution and finishing dyno tuning though 40-45psi. From the way things were going, it looks like it won't have a problem cracking 900AWHP but we'll find out soon. Soon enough? Probably not as it's winter in Wisconsin and this car is done for the season. Catch up with Ryan and his incredible All-Trac in 2016. I'll be posting another video with more details on the car and with any luck, some on road and on track performance as well.
Here is a link to Ryan's UA-cam channel: / @rm2932

Celicas are so underrated! Love the 5th gen the most!!
Update: Project BADNEWS is back on the streets as of late June 2017. New engine, new cams and new turbo setup. I'm expecting 900awhp around 35-40psi with the new setup. In any event, it sounds like Ryan, the owner, is planning on going to the track instead of the dyno this year.
Do you know what he did for differentials?
I'll take an All-trac or a GT4 over any 240 or Subaru any day.
Nifty yea i wish they werent so rare
Only 4k views wtf! This fucker is bad ass. Good work beautiful car, got a new subscriber
Nice come back
looks amazing!
God i wish mine was this nice....
Great job!
Hay nice car i have the real Carlos still being build and full resto will keep you posted you think i should ditch the turbo water cooling system and go with a front mounted one
FK yeah.
What is you set up if you don't mind me asking? What do you mean by reinforced block?
I currently have a Gen 4 3sgte that I am building for my MR2 and the reason for that is because the block is stronger like the 98+ 5s block (Higher nickel content) along with the revised water pump corner but it has the turbo extras such as oil squiters, a block feed oil feed for the turbo, and the square bore and stroke.
The internals I am looking at is the following
CP HD Pistons with update wrist pins (9:1 Comp)
Carrillo HD rods
ACL Bearings
ARP 2000 Bolts for the bottom end
Dry sump
The head besides cams and springs is TBD at the moment
Turbo set up Borg Warner s369
Greddy T78 kit (mani, WG)
+Gattsu83 Maybe Ryan will chime in but I know the block was 1/2 filled with a filler to avoid cracking it under these high loads. He has a build thread on the All-Trac forums entitled 700AWHP or Bust posted by BADNEWS. I will be listing all the build info in the next video along with an interview from Ryan discussing the progression of the car over the years. Additionally, Ryan has his own UA-cam channel called "Ryan Maroszek". I'd suggest subscribing as he frequently uploads and goes into depth on many topics. Thanks!
+PKmode half filled? is it still street able if it's half filled? like stop and go traffic and road trips e.c.t.? I'm asking because I'm considering doing a partial fill on my Gen 4 block 2 avoid cracking at all cost even at waaay lower power levels say 400-450ish hp probably lower honestly. but just wanted 2 be safe lol
What turbo do you run and What’s the trick to running 40psi on a 3SGTE?
Stock gearbox?
😎
The gsx from toyota
Jesus Christ.. that squat tho..
And they say they are slow
I've been talking with the owner and he'll be on the road again soon. New PTE6780 turbo this year and it's going to the dyno for tuning, then the strip for shake down passes.
Even stock they are not slow. Maybe under turboed but thats fixable. 3sgte engines are great at 300hp let alone 8-900. Mines stock +4psi and its fun as fuck in slippery conditions.
im going to share these vidoes on the uk forums im on if thats ok, celicaireland.com and ccuk.
+STEVIE SKINYBOY Ryan's YT channel is linked in the description but I'm sure he doesn't mind you sharing my video on his car.
@STEVE SKINYBOY You guys able to source parts for gt4s/all tracs to u.s.a.? I kniw its 2 years ago but i would love some fiberglass and or rally parts for my st185
