Only 10k views?? This deserves 30million views we need get the word out about this jdm reviewing machine!!!! So he can get that well deserved UA-cam money people!!!!!
Another great video my friend, love that you have a matching jacket for each car company. truly entertaining and very informative video. Keep up the amazing content
So cool I remember the Castrol Celicas racing here in NZ. My sons found a small piece of front fiberglass with castrol red and green on it. Arigato.
7:47 Old German Licenseplate (cancelled) from Cologne (K), Technical Inspection likely expired in January 1988 (Green Sticker for Main Inspection, in German "Haupt Untersuchung"). This Plate might be authentic as the main Toyota franchise is situated in Cologne from the early 1970´s on. Nice Video!
spotted Carlos Sainz K-AM 777 in Cologne 6.11.19. it was in for repairs at a paint shop across the street
All TTE rally cars used the same format of the number plate: K AM XXXX. K=Köln/Cologne Germany, AM= Andersson Motorsport (the original name of Ove Andersson's rally workshop before it was moved to Germany) and XXXX are three or four digit numbers assigned somewhat randomly.
It's "Hauptuntersuchung", you ghastly Hauptschüler.
Nicky Grist also became a WRC announcer after he retired. When I was growing up watching WRC, he was the voice of WRC for me!
Having an ae11 corolla as a project car the WRC version is goals af.
I was there in April of 2017. It was absolutely amazing!!
Group S MR2! I didn't know any survived. Terrific!
Dude you’re living the dream most of us JDM guy’s can’t afford. So lucky 🍀
That’s a Cadillac next to the Blue Bird. Great video, love to see people find appreciation in old Toyotas. Shame that they don’t have a ST165 Celica. That car changed Rally racing for all of Japan.
Not any old Caddy... that a 59. The car with the largest ever fins. Classic Americana in Japan.
When I visited this place in April 2018, the 1990 Safari Rally winning Celica ST165 was part of the display.
Best jdm content on UA-cam! Keep it coming! Amazing channel, I can't wait to see what the future holds for you guys!
These are awesome videos. One of the few channels that I click on quickly. Very informative and easy to watch. Keep up the great videos and I'll keep watching 👍😊
Im glad you showed the underneath of the car, and gave details about the suspension, thank you.
Fun fact about the registered number plates of most Toyota rally cars. It's actually Germanys 4th biggest city Cologne (or Köln in German), that's what the "K" stands for. As a German it always bothered me that in our country most motoring enthusiasts don't know about the importance and serious performance of japanese cars, especially in the Group A time period. I'm a big Subaru / Toyota fan and once my colleagues at work had no idea what they were looking at when I pulled up proudly in my '2006 Impreza WRX STi. They had never heard of the brand Subaru before, lol. But to whoever's visiting Köln sometime and is interested in Toyota history, be sure to check out the "Toyota Heritage Collection". It's run officially by the Toyota Motor Company at the nearby plant and you look at and even sit in many classic and also race cars from Toyota. If I'm not mistaken it's open every first saturday of the month, free of charge!
I would also think the radiator was in the trunk in the Celica to protect it from something hitting it while it was up front:) great tour man. As a Toyota junkie this place is on my bucket list
Very good video !! thanks for sharing !!! greetings from Portugal
ST185RC is a legend for Toyota. Maybe guys over there to think about producing the same car in history with new technology fitted and slightly modern design on it.
My second car was a fifth gen celica. Never been beat as my favorite car.
I’d give up my tongue to have that GT Four
Seeing that TA64 in real life in 2018 was a bucket list moment to see one of my grail cars
Seen this car many times over the years I’m pleased they keep showing it - great video as always
I always learn stuff about cars when you walk through a collection of cars and narrate them - love these videos!!! Thank you for making them!
I have a 94 Celica GT and absolutely love it. Obviously not that powerful compared to these beasts but I'm proud it shares the same DNA as its rally car brothers.
Love you channel JDM. Keep em' coming! Love your jackets!
Aah this brings me back to 2016. Though the cars on show were totally different back then.
This amazing to see, I had a model of that exact Castrol Celia as a child. 1992 era. Love listening to you speak. 👍😎
ST185 History of WRC Before Subaru GC8. Manufactures and Drivers Making history of Any motorsports. Love to see more coming up the line of new monster WRC and histories...
I've watched this a few times now since you've uploaded it. Such great information.
Very cool stuff. Loved the bit with the old boys showing the kids how it's all made and put together.
Beautiful video; thanks JDM.
The variety of stuff you guys cover is great. Always spot-on narration, no nonsense.
I absolutely love rally racing, so this video in particular was pure bliss from start to finish for me. Thank you for producing such great content. 👌
Love the channel excellent content as usual really enjoyed it
best and most underrated jdm chanel on the tube
@ 4:20-what a classic (and great) picture
As for the Celica restrictor plate cheat, it was one of the most ingenious pieces of motorsport (cheat) engineering....if I recall correctly, it passed all initial scrutinizing. It's a great story.
Always passed inspection, an inside whistle blower is the most suspected reason it was found
If fact , went back to see it today. I’m pleased you raised the profile of this mr2 .. great video
Loved that! Definetly more locations like that. Even cool workshops like the Nismo facility and such!
I’m enjoying all the Real JDM goodies in your channel.
Keep on keeping on mate🤙🏽
Excellent video. Thanks!

Why have I never seen this? Car enthusiast for 40 years. Never seen this. 222D, stunning.
Lived in Tokyo for a year and a half. Never made it over to see this, and, well, it was before my awareness of the glory of these vehicles. Thanks for the visit!
Great stop to see the history. Love the GT4!
Man, why I didn't know for your channel before. I'm so glad that you made this video. Watched from Serbia. I have 7th gen Celica, 1ZZ though, but nevertheless I am proud of such a heritage. Thank you both for this video.
Really enjoying these.
Expect an on point jacket each episode!
Seeing the ST185 and that photo montage of the Safari Rally brings back childhood memories of watching Ian Duncan win it in 1994 at the helm of the "Flying Sausage." Thank you for this amazing video, and greetings from Kenya! 🇰🇪
Thanks to this channel for introducing me to the 222D.
I feel like you've just grant my wish here with this video, due to my previous comment ;-) Keep up the great work, and I hope this channel will grow as it deserves ! Thanks :-)
Wonderful video guys. So many Safari Rally highlights 😍
As a Kenyan I'm so stoked WRC is back! 🇰🇪🇰🇪🇰🇪
Such an awesome channel, keep up the good work guys! JDM heaven here :D
6:55 this thing even has Kenyan 🇰🇪number plates. Safari rally was truly the greatest wrc circuit
Your content and delivery of all the facts about the cars' numbers and its history is very well done. I could've easily given that praise on any other video on this channel but it just happened to be on Toyota's WRC cars. Nice call out by the way to Sega Rally!
What an amazing video, thank you so much for this great video.
Many greets from Germany
This man is encyclopedia.
I just found out about your channel, but now I cant stop watching your videos. Keep it up bros Love your content everytime👌❤
14:50 Aircraft standart circuit breakers installed. Cockpit looks great, just a little like in an very special DeLorean ;)
Cool. (Btw, that 'Impala' is actually a Caddy. :) )
Whatever you do, i will watch it. Your videos are so good.
Awesome video keep em coming more power!!
Went there years ago. It was amazing.
Amazing!
Best JDM channel
Excellent video, cheers muchly! I did giggle when you got to the turbo restrictor plate scandal but you downplayed it to a 'a small sad thing' :D
awesome video man, soooo many unicorn Toyota's. You are a font of knowledge fella...subscribed! ;-)
Nice vid - I was lucky enough to have owned an ST185 RC. Favourite car I've owned to date.
Ur reviews are very much detailed.....very much
The Four GT is my 3rd favourite after the Quattro and the stratos my first time playing Sega rally was back in 2002 when i was six i have the GT in my diecast model room i just love that colour 👍👍👍📸
Another brilliant video! :D
I have and I love toyota celica ST185. Wonderful.
You know your cars! great video, I want one of those MR2's :D
Great insight - Subscribed! I own a JDM GT-Four ST205. It took me a long time to save enough money to afford it. The first time i ever seen one was on a night rally stage in Kielder forrest, Northern England. Juha Kankkunen was the driver. It was like seeing an actual space ship!
Dude your vids are awesome. I somehow get a best motoring vibe from you. Makes me miss the golden era. Please do a 22b if you can somehow
I'm a huge fan of your work JDM Masters!
Please please please can you do episodes on the:
Mitsubishi FTO Version R 1997 - 2000 in Manual
AND
Mitsubishi GTO Twin Turbo 1996 - 2000
Please bring awareness to the world for these underrated gems by Mitsubishi.
Literally, paradise
This is such a good channel, definitely deserves way more views and subs. Hope to see a video on the STI Museum some time! Keep it up :)
Great videos, I enjoy the education thank you. 2020 is going to be very educational.
Should Bring back GROUP B.. We got snowmobile weighing 500lbs. with 220 hp from the factory now. Gearing from factory is what limits top speed. But modified Snowmobiles running the trails sometimes have 300 hp on pump 89 octane gas. There Amazing!! Should bring back these cars! and race them with today's Manufacturing process
Luv this channel
omg im so happy! I have actually been there in 2017 but back then i wasnt really interested in cars :(
Visit all of them! These are amazing!
Omg I just found this ch. Subscribeddddddddddddddd!
bruh when you said "is that a supra" even my girlfriend laughed; she can't even drive! keep up this amazing content plssss
Great Job I really enjoy this channel
Thank you for this video. I love WRC. Let's see if Ogier can win one more championship in the Yaris.
Japan seems to be the coolest country in the world..
Wow awesome video again. 13 years ago I picked up a ST185 RC for dirt cheap as it had faded black paint and required a clutch. I ended up selling it and buying a 93 wrx which was much simpler and cheaper to work on and own. Miss the pop-up headlights though!
Funny - I was sitting in the MR2 Group S Model when it was standing in the Gangway of the F1 Fabric back in the days. The Rallye cars there have been also around in Cologne. The rear top part of the Toyota GT One was hanging on the workshop wall (the car Kelleners has driven). Nice memories here :-)
Mega web! Such a neat place from my own experience
At 1:09 gorgeous 59' Eldorado or Coupe Deville!!! That cream white colour is rare too!
I've been there, is so fukin mental to see all them wrc cars and prototypes, the café has a huuuuuuuuuuuuge memorabilia and lecture collection on racing history, I spent 5 hours just having a beer and looking at cars, the only place where I saw a Colin Mcrae and Tommi Makinen driven cars side by side, it's definitely a must go for any car junkie. Thank you for showing this to the world JDM masters! 🤘🏼
Wonderful work @CaptBradford. Well since you asked, as a GR Yaris owner I'd love you to go to the Toyota factory to interview its engineers :-)
Tremendous 👍
Cool
anti lag was devolped in 1992/93 by TTE and was fitted to the st185 in 1993 atleast by the time Tour de Corse, old rally videos from 94 would suggest it was being used on the st185 and my own 2x RC Celica models have the anti lag throttle opener present, something not fitted to the standard GT4 road car(pre 95 st185) great channel btw, great to see these beauties again :)
Hello I love your videos I am a fan of WRC and I love the Toyota Celica Turbo 4WD ST185 the one in your museum and that of Juha Kankkumen I would have preferred to see that of Didier Auriol who was WRC World Champion in 1994 with this Celica Turbo 4WD ST185!
Great video 👍
awesome job
Cars that made history
I learnt alot here on my favorite brand toyota
i went here last year
i was drooling over the mark x on the showroom lol
