this guy literally realized my childhood dream! I was in love with this car when I was growing up, I even had a model of it... then years later, I bought a white convertible of the same model, and it was a blast to drive. Still looks more beautiful than most of the contemporary designs for me...

I own a gt four rc of 1991 and I tell you that it is a truly impressive car !! I wouldn't exchange it with any other car.

I have a white 92 Carlos sainz standing in my garage. I'm hopeing to get it on the road again soon. Its been standing for about 12-13 years.
Haha same with me, mine sat 11-12 years. Got it back on the road this year. Low km from not driving. Thought my Mass air flow messed up and was impossible to find one. Finally found one now I have two still didn’t work lol. Planned on upgrading ecu while back to tune around that part, turns out my ecu was fried this whole time.

Amazing car, but for suspension I should go for Ohlins Rally spec dampers. You live almost in the walhalla of damper engineering !

The actual wheels on this car are already not stock. My "Carlos Sainz" came with tiny 15 inch back in the 90s.

Ya I don’t recall the Carlos Sainz limited edition RC having leather or left hand drive. I own one I did a lot of research on them. Not the greatest cars to get info for though, lots of sites say different things.

by country, e.g. Leather was standard in Germany (but no Airconditioning), Textile in Switzerland (with Airconditioning as Standard). All European models except UK/Ireland were LHD,

Why hide a Lotus video in a Celica video? Kinda misleading title man, sorry.
The title is not misleading at all. It promises a Celica GT4 and that's what you get. Plus an update on the Lotus (owned by the same guys that owns the Toyota), because older subscribers wanted an update on that car.

Dear, i have searched for :Carlos Sainz Celica" and YT brought me here, just it's annoying to see that ugly Lotus next to a legend, and also first 4 mins of the video is waste of time and not related with the video title as well.
You should have skipped the video altogether if it causes you so much misery 😉

@@38zubamba The previous video with that Lotus was one of my most watched videos. People asked for an update on the car and I did just that. In this video you got exactly what the title says and more.
