I’m so glad you’re doing better. I’m sure it will take time to heal. Just know that we think about you and send you healing thoughts. Now, I have to get another MKM roller cuz I don’t have that one and its texture really made a great design element on the mug. 😘💜
Wonderful tutorial. Good to see you in your happy space again. I hope your shoulder op happens soon, take care and rest when you can. Hard I know lol. Xx
You are so talented, I really look forward to your weekly demonstrations. You have been through so much in the past year or two. But your strong spirit shines through. Prayers for a complete healing. 💕🙏🏻
OMG, I just love you so much…I get tickled at how much alike we are! I agree that math is of the devil. I do have an issue with your choice of soda, though! Pepsi, ugh! Coke is the way to go, with a good southern “Bless your heart” thrown in! 😂❤ All in good fun! I’m so glad to have you back.
@wearhousecreations LOL, I'm a club soda gal. Can't stand the super sugary sodas, but yeah, I get it. Funny. Glad to find so many like-minded potters here!
Hi. This mug/tumbler is lovely. It was nice to see you back doing your videos. Your students have been doing a great job, though. I hope your recovery goes well. It's not very good being unwell, especially when you're used to being so active.
I just made some custom stamps…. This may be the project to try them out with. Soooooooo good to see you creating again, though limited. Hang in there kiddo. Thank you
Very nice mug. And such a great idea to push in the edge for the straw. And then so nice decorated. Thank you for this great tutorial. Its great to see you are doing better and seeing you being creative. 👋 bye Sheila
Oh my Goodness Theses are The Prettiest Travel Mugs Ive Seen out There!!!!!!! You Go Girl!!!!!! Defiantly going to give these a try ....Hope mine look half as good as yours!!!!! Thank You!
I feel the same way!! I don’t get how they are travel tumblers but I do like them for home! I’m sooo glad to see you making again! Welcome back!!! What a great idea for the templates!!
These mugs are stunning. Think I would keep mine indoors though....I'd be terrified of breaking it😊😊. Great to see you on the road to recovery, it's a long one but, worth it in the long run. Hope you are getting stronger every day. Loved your students, they are very talented. Thanks for the class. ❤
Wonderful to see you up and able to get your hands on clay! Like your take on the sippy cup design. I’ve seen so many that look too much like the paper and plastic ones.-It has been over 100 degrees F here in Redding,California so I have been having some issues with drying too fast also. Thank goodness it gets much cooler in the morning and evening. -Liana
It my car holders. I used a Starbucks cup. Not big enough!! I love yours! I don’t think I’ll put the hole for a straw. But I learned a lot from this episode. Love your videos! I’m so glad you are getting better❤️🙏🏻😊☀️
Thanks! I like using the rolls of paint paper you can get at the hardware ( home depot and such) I wrap the cups , pvc pipe and such first. That way the forms slip out after you're done. The rolls come in 6? inch rolls. Hope surgery was a success!
Make sure you cut the seam of the cup. Just use tape to hold it in place while you're forming your travel cup and then remove the tape and you can remove your form
The fish mug is shadow blue and coastal blue from Clayscapes. The trees is winter woods and spectrums holly green. The moose, mountains and trees are Coyote root beer in the bottom, spectrum Holly green, then dabs of opulence grape for the mountains, and then the rim is spectrums glacier.

I’m sure you already know this, but I read corn starch helps. I’ve used it and it really helps.
Yes, it works wonders, but I was working too fast to think about it. Which happens a lot. I always think of it later. 😀
@@hobblecreekpottery me too!
Will you post a video when these pieces are glazed? Would love to see the final results (and I love all the Celtic themes too).
I wonder if you could convince Sharon Hoppe to make a sippy cup form for you? It would sell well after people see your video.
I hope you get better soon. What glazes are on the mugs, could share the combo?🤗

How about wrapping newspaper loosely around the plastic cup first?
I’d love to get a pdf of your template. Could you link it to your Etsy store?
Could you spray the plastic cup with WD40 or cornstarch to stop the clay sticking to it ?
Yes, you most certainly could. And I should have thought of it.
You could put pantyhose on the cup so it won’t stick
I think ‘Travel Sipper’
Adult sippy cups!
Corn starch your cup next time
