I have the Quadlock and use it with a perch mount and vibration mount on my bikes, push bike and in the car with suction mount and a wireless charger. Very happy with the Quad Lock especially when I dropped my phone today without damage
Awesome. Thanks for watching. Next time you get a new phone, bc you'll need a new case w/ quadlock, check out our Biker Gripper. See whatcha think. No more proprietary cases with every phone upgrade. Ride safe!!

Thank you for this review Ryan! Even though I am not one for skulls. I am sold on the Biker Gripper now! Plus it’s made in the good ole USA! Awesome! 😎
Ryan you are such a sleek salesman, lol…. You did a nice comparison, far and detailed and the Biker Gripper obviously won! Nice to have such a good product available. Keep making great videos, they are appreciated. I just replaced my 2019 SGS that I broke in 2020. Now on a 2023 SGS beauty.
Nice!! I actually was open to possibly carrying the Quad Lock in our store too before I did the video. Then I got it in my hands and truly learned about it.......Nope........ Sweeeeeet on the 2023 SGS!!!!!
Hey Russ, I had just gone through this with my wife. It was a long year, but she came out the other side ok.I have a good idea what you’re going through. It’s not the easiest thing, but I can say my thoughts are with you guys. Your videos did help as I’d watch them while I waited for her during her weekly chemo treatments. Best wishes to you and your family.
lots of good info! I like the swivel! For me since iP#4 Ive run the original locking system that was made in the Usa but now days the packaging says designed in Cali it also has a magnetic system so as a mechanic I stick my phone to all sorts of things even though the mag safe doesn't work because of the magnets I make do because I want that functionality! I like what you said a mag safe charger still needs a cord no matter how you look at it.
I purchased your Bike Gripper probably back in 2015 when I bought my street glide and it has worked flawless. The only minor issue is the rubber gripper pieces inside of the clamps over time fell off, I just replaced with some small pieces of door weather stripping. The bottom line is I would highly recommend the biker gripper. I have a friend who i tried to get to buy this mount and he ended up with a cheaper Amazon mount which on more than 1 occasion didn't hold his phone securely and it fell out. He finally broke down and bought the biker gripper last year and loves it.
Thanks for commenting. You're right, depending on climate and after many years of use in heat etc, the little grip pads on the insides of the mount can be replaced if necessary. We have those replacement pads available in our store. Great price of course for them if needed. thanks for your support and so glad you love the Biker Gripper. **I still don't know why guys buy an EXPENSIVE PHONE and then totally cheap out on a cheaply made mount from eBay or Amazon. Crazy to me........We've received so many horror stories from customers about using those cheap mounts before getting the Biker Gripper.
You should definitely see this video. Check out the Biker Gripper, so you have options and aren't locked into that ecosystem. I explain it all in the video. Biker Gripper here ==> shop.lawabidingbiker.com/collections/bikergripper
I love the Biker Gripper. I have put one on every bike I have owned (3) since first coming across them in 2016. The only complaint I have is my first one, the polyurethane fabric came off and made a sticky mess during a long motorcycle trip. The ambient temperature was averaging 105 F for three days in a row. By the third day when I took my phone out of the gripper the fabric came with it. I happened to carry a small roll of gaffer tape in my saddle bag and used that to replace the fabric that came off. Even with that, I still love the Biker Gripper and will continue to use it.
Awesome!! thanks for your support. Yup, depending on environment and long term use the simple grip pad over time can be replaced. For those that need them. Not everyone does. Depends on the sitation. We sell them. Great price ==> shop.lawabidingbiker.com/collections/bikergripper
Ive had the bike gripper for about 4 years. After driving thousands of miles in all kinds of terrain and weather I've never had a problem at all. Great product I highly recommend it.
Great product I do have a mount that charges my phone. Only after my phone died and would not charge as the phone said no charge wet port. Playing music and navigation drains the battery quickly. Keep making great products by bikers for bikers.
I purchased your Bike Gripper several years ago. Best cell phone holder ever. Strong and durable. Over 50,000 miles on my bike in all types of weather and terrain and never once did my phone even shift. The rubber gripper does wear out over time, but that's normal and easy to replace.
Thanks for sharing and for your support. We know if we can get it in the hands of bikers, they'll quickly realize why its the best quality mount on the market. ride safe
@@RyanUrlacher But no charging heads or anything. Thats the one thing quadlock has. You guys should develop a wireless charging biker gripper, instead of running a usb cable, id rather have a wireless charging waterproof system. Also it seems like depending on the kind of phone you have, your gripper may press buttons on the side. Some phones have buttons in the middle of the phone side.
You betcha. We haven't been the best at sharing all the details of the Biker Gripper. So, I hope this video helps bikers, regardless of what they decide to buy.
Hi Ryan. I have nothing but high praise for the biker gripper. I have had one since they came out many years ago and it has never let me down. I don't even consider checking out other cell phone mounts as the biker gripper is in a class of it's that the others can't even match.
Ryan I love my biker gripper cell phone mount I just got mine from you last week. It is soooooo rock solid! I never have to worry about my phone. Plus it’s bad Ass!!! I will never own another brand. Love u guys and all ur content. Hope to ride and meet all you guys one day.
Awesome!! Thanks for the feedback. I know when guys get our Biker Gripper in person it sells itself and they'll quickly realize why its superior to others. ride safe.
I have 2 biker grippers and just this year running quad lock with wireless charger head. I like both systems and have no problem with either really. I like being able to move my phone around on the biker gripper and I also like the wireless charging on the quad lock. My thoughts are if you aren't going to be on the bike 14 hours with multiple destinations planned then the biker gripper is much cheaper and holds the phone as well as anything. I have probably 75k miles running biker gripper with zero issues. I have about 9k miles with the quad lock and zero issues also but at over $200 it's more expensive and like you say in the video you can't adjust it for sun light on screen etc.
Thanks for the video. It is a very nice, "Made in America" product, and it certainly does have some obvious advantages. But skulls and flames definitely clash with my personal sense of style. Please consider offering a solid black option for the center pad. Thanks again. 👍
Hey Ryan, Thanks for this video and all of the info within! I need the Biker Gripper for my 2016 Victory Cross Country Tour! Stay safe & healthy out there!
Great Info, I have a Quadlock and seems to be holding up, if i would have known about the biker gripper who knows, I do like the fact they don't nickel and dime you, thanks!
We don't have a version w/o a logo. Your phone covers it. It's a vibration dampner. Also, just pull it off, turn it over, stick it on if it bothers you. Just an option.
Thank you Ryan , I appreciate your videos. And this is another one that help me out. I will getting the Biker Gripper . I have wasted $200 over a year for phone holders for my Bike. Have a great week Sir.
You should try the Biker Gripper. RAM is just so ugly and outdated. IMO.........Biker Gripper=Strong, sexy, sleek........Hope you are well!! Oh AND MADE IN THE USA
I used a Ram mount X-Grip for almost a year on my Sportster 1200. Which does not have a fairing. I was riding on a high wind day down the highway and my phone blew out of the mount and down the highway. Completely destroyed when I recovered it. I've watched you channel for a couple years now. I don't want a Quad lock because of the proprietary case. I'm almost sold on the Biker gripper... almost. I just dont want to watch another phone tumble down the highway again.
So sorry that happened. We've heard LOTS OF HORROR STORIES LIKE THIS ABOUT THE RAM X-GRIP (It's so ugly and outdated).......You won't have that issue with our Biker Gripper. 10 years now and we ride cross-country thousands upon thousands of miles with the Biker Gripper. Yes, even off road adventure. Very rough terrain. All good with the Biker Gripper. Oh, and MADE IN THE USA. ==> shop.lawabidingbiker.com/collections/bikergripper
What is the thickness of a phone that it can hold? I use a wallett type phone case and havent been able to find a good phone mount that can handle its thickness...
I had a Ram mount but the plastic inserts that size fit the bars are showing signs of stress and will eventually break. Plus the thing loosened up with vibration and turned free while riding. Thankfully the phone wasn’t in it at the time. I am now running the Ciro perch mount. Very secure and the mount will never spin but the phone holder itself sometimes turns a bit. Honestly 90% of the time my phone is in the tour pack so not sure why I’m throwing all this $ at holders. 😂. If the Ciro doesn’t work out, I’m going to try yours because I like the minimalist profile. Ciro was also expensive. First world problems. Ride free! ✌️
I have a very similar model to the biker gripper. I’ve had it on several bikes. I’m able to put it on the mount and pull it off while riding. I’m able to do it with one hand while riding without dropping the phone. I never had my phone fall off of it. I recommend it for a lot of people. Only reason it’s not on my main bike is due to MY charging issues Riding in heavy rain. I’ve had water come up the cable into my phone. That’s my ONLY downfall in which don’t stop me from recommending your phone holder. Watching UA-camrs use the Quadlock turnt me off from it a good while ago.
Yup, Quadlock is just a big advertisement. They throw a ton of money to get into social media and give their stuff to other UA-camrs their products free for paid biased reviews etc. We've never done that and NEVER WILL. Our product speaks for itself.
Hey Ryan, looking at your garage, you should consider buying a motorcycle...🤣 I'm so jealous. Awesome information every time. Thanks brother. Ride safe, and let's stay safe out there. Bill Cmdr PRPD, ret

How do I order a full unit in black for a Harley 03 bagger, clutch mount and also a single chrome ball mount for an 01 softail Deuce? I don't need two complete units. Thanks.
Has anyone used the Biker Gripper for the passenger as well?? 2014 Ultra Limited, definitely ordering for me, wondering if it will work for my wife on back. TIA - Stay Safe
Certainly give it a try. My gut tells me you'll never go back after you see how quick in and out and the ability to use any case you want or no case at all.
I’ve been using ROKFORM for the past few years and it works great! However, I’ve had to replace my phone case 3x because the polycarbonate case has a weak spot around the physical docking port. I have three motors and RokForm mounts with a vibration dampening system on each one. I’d like to know how this compares to the quad-lock system. What say you, fellow motorman?
I'd say check out our Famous Biker Gripper. ==> shop.lawabidingbiker.com/collections/bikergripper. You'll never have a polycarbonate case issues or other issues for that matter. It's an open system and needs no proprietary cases or locking systems. We use it exclusively on our entire Motors fleet for that reason along with many other Motors fleets around the country that get it direct from us. Just my two cents.
Great comparison video. When I got my new phone I did contemplate on trying the other brand but I decided to stick with my gripper I’ve had for almost 10yrs. Question, is it possible to get another set of pads for the inside as mine wore off over the years… 👊🏾✌🏾
I actually went to their site to order a case and mount. Horribly confusing. Never bought one. However, I actually have a hard time believing YOUR mount will hold on a soft tail without a windshield at freeway speeds. On the glides I can see it holding but with full wind exposure, I’m very skeptical.
Well, start believing. We've been running them for 10 years. Go look at reviews. I run one on my 07 night train and 16 Dyna Low Rider S. Neither have windshields. Yes, on the freeway at 80+. Believe in it. I would not sell them if I had any concerns. We are bikers and we only sell the best and what we trust. Biker Gripper is the best. You'll never go back.
I have a Samsung Galaxy note 20 will the biker gripper keep my camera safe? I have Hurd that the vibration from handlebars can destroy the camera in a phone?
Yes, yes, yes. We've been using these for 10 years cross country. Use it on my off road adventure bike. Have had so many phones in it. ZERO camera issues. I go over this in the video. That's why its the best. Quadlock has damaged many cameras.
This “review” just seemed like an ad for the biker gripper, im all for competition but this is totally bias and not for nothing i dont like the massive swivel the biker gripper has that loosens up over time and vibrates the phone bad
Finally. A story were it actually came out. Sorry you had to crash test it. Definitely can in the right crash dynamics It seems. Anyways, I hope you are okay? Who cares about the phone at the point.........thanks for sharing.
Sorry, but I could care less if it's made in the 'US', and most of the time I find TODAY'S USA made products to be mostly fair or even junk. I want performance and that's who deserves the money, not because you live next door.

Isn't that a tech-mount, or is it just a similar design?
Why would you be screwing with your phone while riding with your motorcycle?
To get the sun glare off your eyes, to turn it sideways so you can see a gps better, to take a video in portrait mode while you’re riding.
Correct. Well said.
Can the Gripper be used with the Ciro ball? I’ve gotten use to having my phone centered in my Electra Glide fairing.
Different sized ball heads
Hey Ryan, looking at your garage, you should consider buying a motorcycle...🤣
I'm so jealous.
Awesome information every time. Thanks brother.
Ride safe, and let's stay safe out there.

Folding phones. Does it work with thick phones such a the Samsung Fold 4?
The grip range of the Biker Gripper head is 1.9” to 4.2”. The Biker Gripper head fits even the largest of smartphones! ==> shop.lawabidingbiker.com/collections/bikergripper
That's the phone I have. Wondering will it fit the Biker Gripper with my caseborne s pen phone case in the closed position.
were are the biker gripper sold in Aus ,
We don't have any middle men. That's how we keep the prices down o the Biker Gripper. You can only buy direct from us. ==> shop.lawabidingbiker.com/collections/bikergripper
How do I order a full unit in black for a Harley 03 bagger, clutch mount and also a single chrome ball mount for an 01 softail Deuce? I don't need two complete units. Thanks.
So sorry, We only sell them in kits. We don't have separate SKU's for those at this time. ==> shop.lawabidingbiker.com/collections/bikergripper
Has anyone used the Biker Gripper for the passenger as well?? 2014 Ultra Limited, definitely ordering for me, wondering if it will work for my wife on back. TIA - Stay Safe
I got the biker gripper , solid and secure. 5 stars.
Nice!!!! thanks for your support and comments.
Black mount has chrome or black bolts? I only saw chrome in your other video with the bikes at the meeting.
You can add black bolts ==> shop.lawabidingbiker.com/products/black-bolts-for-control-mount-biker-gripper?variant=37842908250268
I don’t know I absolutely love my quad lock. I wouldn’t mind trying the biker gripper though
Certainly give it a try. My gut tells me you'll never go back after you see how quick in and out and the ability to use any case you want or no case at all.
Do you send to Australia
Yes ==> shop.lawabidingbiker.com/collections/bikergripper
cheaper to get a Quad lock in Aus ,when you add the shipping & price of the biker gripper from you its very expensive
Yes, same on this side. Cheaper by far to get the Biker Gripper here in the US. Darn shipping costs.......
🇺🇸lol,ok u sold me. Im buying a biker gripper right now!! Good job salesman!🇺🇸
Hahahaha. You're getting the best!!
I’m sold
Rock on!! You'll never use any other mount again.
Like a couple of other commenters have said, the skull logo is a no go for me. Offer a plain one to maximize your customer base and sales.
We'll look into it, but your phone covers the logo? It's a vibration dampner.
Question, is it possible to get another set of pads for the inside as mine wore off over the years… 👊🏾✌🏾
Yes sir. ==> shop.lawabidingbiker.com/collections/bikergripper/products/replacement-biker-gripper-pads?variant=41789282517148
You had me at "made in America!
Yeah bro!!!! 🇺🇸
Only problem is you need a new case every time you change phone
Show how yours works on a sports bike. Not everyone rides Harley’s
This “review” just seemed like an ad for the biker gripper, im all for competition but this is totally bias and not for nothing i dont like the massive swivel the biker gripper has that loosens up over time and vibrates the phone bad
My phone did come out of my biker gripper in a crash with an SUV.
Finally. A story were it actually came out. Sorry you had to crash test it. Definitely can in the right crash dynamics It seems. Anyways, I hope you are okay? Who cares about the phone at the point.........thanks for sharing.
Biker gripper is behind times people want wireless charging now.
👍👍
totally biased review. Makes me wonder how many lawabidingbiker reviews are honest and how many are pay-offs
Sorry, but I could care less if it's made in the 'US', and most of the time I find TODAY'S USA made products to be mostly fair or even junk. I want performance and that's who deserves the money, not because you live next door.
