This variant and the Coolbaby RS-6 handheld mini are you pretty much need for your portable NES gaming needs!! The coolbaby does have some essential games like: Double Dragon 1, Ralf (Rough World) aka Journey to Silius, Batman 3 among others but the Family Pocket 638 has all my favs like: Blaster Master, Duck Tales (and 2!!!), Dragon Ninja, Gun Smoke, Lolo, Section Z , Mega Man 1, 1944 (a massive improvement over 1943 original!) and all the usuals that compare to each other like the Power Blade franchise. Buy both of these and that's all you need but I love this variant SO much that I've bought 3 of them!!!
I can't hear the triangle channel on most if not all of the games, which kinda means most of the music is missing the bassline. Other than that it seems pretty decent.
Is it possible to put the system of pap-k3 into this case of family pocket? I mean it's beautiful but i want it to be like pap-k3 too but it's in this kinda Of version way. That can be able to save, have a headphone jack and can play other system(games)
Yeah the missing triangle waveform is VERY noticable at the demonstration of Super Mario Bros. The bassline is missing that would give it the bottom thickness of the music. And that is where the triangle would be audible. I guess 1 of the channels is mute. It seems only the square waveforms and the noise channel are being played. I guess every one of these clones must have a slight flaw :P Super Mario Bros 3 has some graphic glitches too with the text but oh well, for a clone at that price range i'm really not complaining.
This NOAC is actually really good! The composite video is passable, the audio doesn't have that traditional Famiclone sound and isn't distorted like the RetroDuo, and everything runs smoothly!
That was probably The Banana Prince. I can't see the video at the moment so I'm guessing. Or maybe you meant the rolling thunder like game in the jungle? That's by Capcom and called METAL wolf or something like that. I need to see the video so I can read the title to be sure.
I think I missed something. What is on the cartridge? You showed games before you had the cart in, so what's on the cart? You also mentioned one of the cords was for power and data transfer? Can games be added or taken away?
At the point in the video when you see the winter looking game select menu, that's the cartridge. It's just full of cheap hacks and nasty homebrew stuff. You can upload your own roms on to this but how you select them is a mystery. There's no way to edit the menu. I'm sure some talented hacker person could work it out.
This makes a surprisingly good impression, both in build quality and in game variety! The tv output quality also seems really ok. So i think the price for that is really fair. Many thanks for showcasing.
It sure does. There are many great titles built in to this console. I only showed a tinny amount of what was on there. I reckon there's at least a 100 top quality games to check out.
The absence of Metroid is still a little weird since it didn't use battery memory for the savestate but a password system instead. Still thou, the collection of games covers pretty much everything a mobile 8bit gamer could ask for :)
The fact that it runs on 3 regular AAA batteries is really awesome. Wish the GB Station (the 8 bit clone in a GBA SP case) had that as well. I think many of these clone consoles use LCDs that are primarily made for vertical use (like for phones), which is why they often look a little weird on the sides with a bit of a gradient all the way through the screen.
Yeah, the inclusion of AAA batteries is ideal. We don't always have access to a charger. Plus those cheap rechargeable batteries the give you often die within half a year of regular use.
Hi, i compared the original simpsons video with family pocket simpsons and the colors are strange. The Yellow not is closest. Some adjust is lacking or is Family pocket problem with these colors?
I see Darkwing Duck in the video but can't find it on the handheld. There are some mislabeled games though. Anyone know what number Darkwing Duck is in the menu or what it's labeled?
Retro Core Thanks for the heads up, I didn't realize this either. Cause everything else is exactly the same. Happen to know the name or # of the game so I can double check anyway? Thanks for your help.
FYI, if anyone cares I finally figured it out after owning this for a couple weeks. Darkwing Duck is # 144 in the list and is mislabeled as "Donald Duck". There is a lot of mislabeled games, I keep coming across other games i didn't realize were on here. 508 games listed in a random order, mislabeled and some badly translated makes it kinda hard to find stuff at first. With that being said, this is absolutely worth the asking price as Retro Core stated. I own 10+ cheap Chinese emulation handhelds and none of them are nearly as good for playing NES. The emulation is perfectly smooth (unlike some others) and the dpad and other buttons are WAY better, also a bonus to have the turbos. If you can deal with lots of scrolling and hunting at first, then I recommend it as well.
Is it just me or is the triangle channel missing from the sound completely? That's not too uncommon for a lot of these portable Famiclones, which often use the same SoC as each other.
Retro Core - Wow are you serious? What possible excuse could they have for that? Jeez... that automatically deems it worthless in my book. What a shame...
Retro Core - still a shame tho considering it could have been great if not for that one flaw. The emulation seems pretty good and this happens to be one of the few clones that has accurate sound. Most of the clones I've seen you review have awful sound that is way off.
This is surprisingly good, maybe a future revision will allow saving in games and loading external games so you can just plug a microsd and drop a no-intro set in there. They have a very solid product which they should definitely improve upon. Wishful thinking; I would love this exact console but for GBA games.
Wishful thinking indeed. But I do understand you. With this unit as the basis they could fix all that is wrong with it and actually release a very good quality mini NES / FAMICOM. I'm sure it would sell really well. Heck, it may even get me interested in the system. I've never actually owned one so I know nothing about the NES.
I like it Mark. Considering what you have to work with. it look like its worth spending the money to invest in one. Since, I like oddies and knock-offs, this one is a winner for me. 8^) Nicely done as usual bro. Anthony..
The sound emulation is missing the bass triangle channel. Would've noticed as early as Mario 3 if you weren't talking over it. But I started to notice it by The Simpsons though...
I will be dead honest, I am pretty tempted to pick this one up. It's a shame that all the games that need to save aren't present, but it is also nice of them to cull them out of the list since you'd not be able to save. A little surprising they didn't include just small bit of memory to save states... but for about $15-20, you can't argue.
Retro Core - Most of the games on the console are Rom Hacked Games, such as Contra being a 10- in 1 game on its own. but there are Plenty of games like SM 3 that plays correctly. the Cartridge is Garbage it has 100 + Cheap Chinese KO games, like Meatloaf Rotation and Yawning Triceretops.
I found that there a few versions of this console. Built in are all original games but some have had their copyright screens or logos removed or even the title as in Mario 3's case.
Quality no question there just one problem, that humming sound isnt that video signal fault ? Also isnt this one show up in one of your pick up video (cannot remember which one).
Yes, the audio signal isn't grounded. The buzz only happens when using the TV out. Yes, that's right. I think I featured this on the gaming pick ups in December.
I have to admit that this one is not bad at all, Mark. Actually is one of the best Knock offs I've seen. And about that "Sonic-Island" Hack... Still better than '06.
Things like this approach here is the reason why clone consoles fascinate me so much. Seeing how someone else would do such a thing and pull of an interesting concept and not letting it cost more than it should. Being able to use regular AAA batteries or rechargables is totally a plus. Interesting, your version isn't orange-red but more wine-red. It seems there's no consistency with the color for the case plastic.
I got mine today. It works well, but there is a problem with the screen. In games like Super Mario Bros 3 or Adventure Island 3 while scrolling the screen right or left there is a strange effect. It means that the picture is slightly waving. This happens with the background in the game (with characters everything is ok). Do you have the same effect?
No, my screen is solid. There's no odd effects at all. Sound slide your machine may be faulty. Is there any chance of you posting a video of how it looks?
I will try make a video. There is no problem on Tv screen. I really disappointed because I waited two months for it. And... I confirmed delivery on aliexpress...
ua-cam.com/video/kH8Dzggase8/v-deo.html I made video. Look on trees in Castlevania or trees/stones in Adventure Island. The background somehow pulsates like water while scrolling to the right.
Ah, I see the problem you have. Looks like your screen is having trouble displaying the image. It also seems to jerk whole scrolling. Send that video to Aliexpress and tell them you have just noticed this effect. Hopefully they'll refund you. They've been pretty good with me in regards to refunds.
Is this emulation or a clone console? Might be worth looking into if it's a clone console, as it looks like it might be the best portable Famicom so far.
Sound emulation sounds good, frame rate looks good, the system its self looks good.. (not finished watching video yet) Looks good for the price.. If its possible to add stuff or hack it then worth every penny.
Absolutely. The best we had then was the Game Mate from Taiwan and that was around 1996. It could play original Famicom cartridges with good enough compatability. Trouble was that the screen was awful.
I got one about a week ago. It had a lot of mislabeled and repeat games. For instance the last page of games were all looney tunes and Zelda was actually gunnac. I haven't tried yet but I'm hoping I can hack in my own games list. Still the emulation is passable and there is quite a few good games on it to warrant the $25 I spent. I built a raspberry pi handheld so I wont be keeping it but it will make a nice gift.
Yeah, often times devices like these are made by several different manufacturers at different facilities. Factor in revisions and there can be a large amount of variation in what would seem to be the same device.
Wow, the Composite output is surprisingly good for a Chinese machine like this. Emulation is above average too, although a few games do sound kinda jacked up. That buzz is ground noise from a bad ground, aka shoddy craftsmanship inside. If only it allowed saving and the ability to load your own ROM's, and a 2nd player controller port. If it had those things I would get one for when I travel to friends houses.
Just received this. Very pleased with it! This is my 2nd knock off system but i already like it better than the first, which is a bittboy. The plastic casing smells awful though.. washing my hands after each play session! :p Ps: thanks for the vids, they are great!
Interesting that your system has a strange smell to the plastic. The one I have had no odor. Was yours the same colour as mine? I k ow they do a more brightly courted model.
Looking at the games cartridge it looks to be the same as the guys that make the PVP station, which isnt too bad but it looks like it has a better quality screen (less interference) Edit: I like that it comes with support for normal batteries, as those cheap lithium batteries fail after a few months, really surprised by the video out quality, might just pick one of these up for myself :)
Ah yes, I've seen the PVP systems that use these cartridges. I have a feeling it's just the cartridge shape which is the same. Unfortunately I don't have a PVP to hand to test the cartridge on. I'd recommend buying one of these systems. They're really well put together.
If I remember I could specify which type I wanted when ordering. Still, it doesn't really matter with this system since a standard USB charger would work just fine.
wait, what was the deal with the right side? ...did i miss something? (edit: never mind, guess the back was off a little) anyway, not too bad. sound might be a little off, but not as bad as some. of course, no battery backup means my android phone is still far better, but not too bad
NO way, the Chinese KO consoles can only play Sega Master or Genesis (POORLY) and Famicom/NES Titles (POORLY). with no Stereo Sound and no HDMI out except for Home KO consoles. they are Cheap but you get what you pay for. Even the PSP KO models are Garbage, though they seen to be able to play Mutiple Platform Titiles on a 5" screen.
Very nice handheld console. The sad part is, that it's not available at my home country, Romania, only that other Nintendo Classic Mini clone by Cool Baby, which is a piece of crap. especially compared to this one.
True point. I guess this device is aimed towards two types of customer. The one with no interest / ability to hack a PSP and those who want something a little different.
Maybe Chinese knockoffs have turned the corner. Well, realistically they're finally reached a point where they can support Famicom games in an acceptable state, prepare for them to start making the all same mistakes again when they can't milk the Famicom anymore and attempt later systems. At some point they're going to tackle the Playstation, they just can't resist that massive back catalogue of games to pirate, then the hilarity will ensue. They've come a long way since the POPstation.
*In old man voice* Back in my day there was no such thing as a gaming system that saved unless there was a battery in the cartridge. AND WE WERE HAPPY!
Hmm, depends. I mean I can't save state on any of my hundreds of original Retro games and it doesn't bother me at all. Most games can be completed within an hour. This device doesn't actually contain any games that would require a game save state to be honest.
Which game is it at 8:45? Looks like some kind of version of Rolling Thunder.
I believe it's SOMETHING Fox from memory. The English name is different though. It's by Capcom.
Retro Core Thanks, following hour clues I managed to identify it: it's Codename: Viper (Ningen Heiki Dead Fox in Japan).
I can't hear the triangle channel on most if not all of the games, which kinda means most of the music is missing the bassline. Other than that it seems pretty decent.
I wonder if that's just because if the TV out. I think you're right though. The music did sound thin.
From what I understand, it's actually a pretty common issue a lot of these portable Famiclones have.
Is it possible to put the system of pap-k3 into this case of family pocket? I mean it's beautiful but i want it to be like pap-k3 too but it's in this kinda Of version way. That can be able to save, have a headphone jack and can play other system(games)
I don't know to he honest. It may be possible but would require some serious understanding of the hardware.
Halfway through the video I noticed the console doesn't output the triangle wave channel
Ah, so it is missing a channel. I thought some stuff sounded odd.
Retro Core Donkey Kong didn't even have any music
Maybe the whole soundtrack to that uses the missing triangle wave.
My japanese is a little rusty, what is the name of the game at 7:56?
That was probably The Banana Prince. I can't see the video at the moment so I'm guessing. Or maybe you meant the rolling thunder like game in the jungle? That's by Capcom and called METAL wolf or something like that. I need to see the video so I can read the title to be sure.

This makes a surprisingly good impression, both in build quality and in game variety! The tv output quality also seems really ok. So i think the price for that is really fair. Many thanks for showcasing.
Agreed. It's not perfect by any means but it is well built and well priced.
It does have a nice collection of games.
It sure does. There are many great titles built in to this console. I only showed a tinny amount of what was on there. I reckon there's at least a 100 top quality games to check out.
The absence of Metroid is still a little weird since it didn't use battery memory for the savestate but a password system instead. Still thou, the collection of games covers pretty much everything a mobile 8bit gamer could ask for :)
the back of the casing being popped out on the top right corner is driving me nuts. What's going on there? Broken screw post? Inflated battery?
Nope, I just didn't put it together correctly before filming.

Hi, i compared the original simpsons video with family pocket simpsons and the colors are strange. The Yellow not is closest. Some adjust is lacking or is Family pocket problem with these colors?
It's probably an issue of the console and the poor composite video out put.
That actually looks surprisingly ‘not horrible’. Hmmm....
Yep. I have a few more systems here too that look as if they could be quality. I'll get around to doing them soon.
I guess I'm so used to this kind of stuff from China being pretty... well, rubbish.
I see Darkwing Duck in the video but can't find it on the handheld. There are some mislabeled games though. Anyone know what number Darkwing Duck is in the menu or what it's labeled?
Yours may not have it. I've just been informed that some versions of this machine contain different rom sets. Typical China.
Retro Core Thanks for the heads up, I didn't realize this either. Cause everything else is exactly the same. Happen to know the name or # of the game so I can double check anyway? Thanks for your help.

Is it just me or is the triangle channel missing from the sound completely? That's not too uncommon for a lot of these portable Famiclones, which often use the same SoC as each other.
Yes, it does seem that it's missing the triangle sound wave.
Thanks for this review , i'm waiting mine now :)
Awesome review! Thanks Retro Core!!
No worries. Thanks for watching.
Hey have you seen the Hamy handhelds from Ali Express? They use actual NES cartridges and they look just like the one you have on this review
I have, yes. They're quite a bit thicker than this unit but very quite an interesting but of clone hardware.
Strange how some games sound like they are missing sound channels, like Blaster Master in particular it is very noticeable.
This clone is missing the triangle synth wave.
Retro Core - Wow are you serious? What possible excuse could they have for that? Jeez... that automatically deems it worthless in my book. What a shame...
It's a Chinese clone so they don't really give a crap about quality. We're lucky this was well built. Most systems fall apart rather quickly.
Retro Core - still a shame tho considering it could have been great if not for that one flaw. The emulation seems pretty good and this happens to be one of the few clones that has accurate sound. Most of the clones I've seen you review have awful sound that is way off.
Mark,
does the Megaman serie is inside, 1 to 6 ?
thanks.
No, I'm afraid not but the machine I'll be covering this Wednesday has Megaman games on it, or Rockman since it's Japanese.
Always love the clone videos. This one seems pretty nice with a very decent game selection. 👍👍
It sure is. Not a bad little product.
I like it Mark.
Considering what you have to work with. it look like its worth spending the money to invest in one. Since, I like oddies and knock-offs, this one is a winner for me. 8^)
Nicely done as usual bro.
Anthony..
This is well and trully a winner, Anthony. For the price you're getting a solid bit of kit with good emulation and many great titles.
Those clones are really well made :)
The sound emulation is missing the bass triangle channel. Would've noticed as early as Mario 3 if you weren't talking over it. But I started to notice it by The Simpsons though...
I noticed on Blast Master. It doesn't seem to be an issue when playing through the actual console screen though. I'll need to do doubble check.
The price is most definitely right with this product. It's just a shame the sound emulation isn't 100% perfect.
Retro Core knew it but i dont remember you buys it, hmm maybe i need look it once again.
This is like the FC Pocket I own. Even almost having the same name.
Would you say the FC Pocket is as stylish as this?
Yeah.
Can't complain for £15ish can you :) not bad at all
Right. For the price this is a really nice bit of kit.
A great looking console
Is qbert and paperboy on this game?
I don't remember, sorry.
Great system. Love these kinds of cheap devices
Unavailable for purchase from the link in the description. ☹
Looks like it sold out.
Retro Core No worries. I found another seller with good feedback & many orders.
s.aliexpress.com/M7ZBZZbE
Spend few more dollars on Amazon get it faster.
Xolotl Xtrapolator Oh yeah? Can you share the link?
Love this Famicom pad design. The AV out jack is the type that brokes very soon. It remembers me the ATGames machines.
This is probably better built than the At@Games stuff.
What is the name of the game which is played just before Batman...???
Retro core love your channel keep up the good work 👍
Thank you Cali Gaming TV. Much appreciated.
I have to admit that this one is not bad at all, Mark. Actually is one of the best Knock offs I've seen. And about that "Sonic-Island" Hack... Still better than '06.
Haha, anything is better than Sonic 06.
Great knockoff!
Great video Retro Core!
Thanks, everyweek randoms.
Retro Core your welcome, wow, one of my most favorite UA-camrs responded to me!😁😁😁😁
Things like this approach here is the reason why clone consoles fascinate me so much.
There actually two colour versions. I went with this one since it resembles the original Famicom pad colour.
I got mine today. It works well, but there is a problem with the screen. In games like Super Mario Bros 3 or Adventure Island 3 while scrolling the screen right or left there is a strange effect. It means that the picture is slightly waving. This happens with the background in the game (with characters everything is ok). Do you have the same effect?

ua-cam.com/video/kH8Dzggase8/v-deo.html I made video. Look on trees in Castlevania or trees/stones in Adventure Island. The background somehow pulsates like water while scrolling to the right.
Man, that's a bummer. I'll check out the video later on.
Ah, I see the problem you have. Looks like your screen is having trouble displaying the image. It also seems to jerk whole scrolling.
Send that video to Aliexpress and tell them you have just noticed this effect. Hopefully they'll refund you. They've been pretty good with me in regards to refunds.
sold out on Aliexpress :/
Missing sounds.. Probably only one channel outputting to the speaker instead of both..
The general opinion is that the triangle wave is missing.
Very nice video. Congrats.
Thank you, Rudy Cassiano.
Is this emulation or a clone console? Might be worth looking into if it's a clone console, as it looks like it might be the best portable Famicom so far.
It's a clone console. Basically a NES on a chip clone.
does it load gameboy cartridge?
Nope.
Sound emulation sounds good, frame rate looks good, the system its self looks good.. (not finished watching video yet) Looks good for the price.. If its possible to add stuff or hack it then worth every penny.
It is pretty good for what you're paying.
Wow, i'm shocked at the quality with this one.
Actually worth investing in.
Good stuff
Yep, it's not bad at all. The audio seems to be missing the triangle bass channel mind you
Nice, I almost got one for my g/f but decided on a couple multi carts for gba instead.
Either is a good choice but in the future one of these consoles may be a nice surprise present.
7:11 USSA?! I guess that was supposed to be USSR...
Quite possibly.
Looks very cool, wish back in the 90s we had this things hehe.
Absolutely. The best we had then was the Game Mate from Taiwan and that was around 1996. It could play original Famicom cartridges with good enough compatability. Trouble was that the screen was awful.
How big is it?
5.5 inch by 2.7 inch according to the official spec sheet. The screen is a 3 inch one. I wish they'd write stuff in metric though.
that looks amazing, I would love to hack it to play other systems games
That's true but he could add extra games if he hacks the menu system. Not sure how easy that would be though.
Super Mario Bros 3 game looks broken in Chinese Knock off console
Does it have a game crad or a game card?
Crad if the Engrish manual is to be believed :)
Does this play d's games?
Sorry, only NES games.
You should bought the one which can plug and play the original cartridge
Ah, I've seen those. They're pretty ugly in reality. They look like this machine but bigger and very cheap feeling.
Your link to buy one is sold out.
Ralphy R they are on ebay.
Sounds like your unit has a different games list. Zelda isn't even listed on mine.
Yeah, often times devices like these are made by several different manufacturers at different facilities. Factor in revisions and there can be a large amount of variation in what would seem to be the same device.
That is very true. And they you have knock offs of knock offs which make it even more confusing.
Seems the sound is a bit off and there are some visual artifacts. But I bet this would be a great device for kids in a car. And its $20 :)
I think the vidal artifacts are due to the composite video out. It looks very clean when played on the built in screen.
The funny thing is that the buzzing only happens through the TV out so it maybe an easy fix. Just ground the audio signal.
Looks rather like a 1st generation Game & Watch, although a little bit too big and too cheap and too new and 511 too many games to be a real one.
Just received this. Very pleased with it! This is my 2nd knock off system but i already like it better than the first, which is a bittboy.
The plastic casing smells awful though.. washing my hands after each play session! :p
Ps: thanks for the vids, they are great!
Interesting that your system has a strange smell to the plastic. The one I have had no odor. Was yours the same colour as mine? I k ow they do a more brightly courted model.
Same color as the one you showed. Mayb it'll wear off.
Hopefully. You don't want stink hands after playing.
Looking at the games cartridge it looks to be the same as the guys that make the PVP station, which isnt too bad but it looks like it has a better quality screen (less interference)
Edit: I like that it comes with support for normal batteries, as those cheap lithium batteries fail after a few months, really surprised by the video out quality, might just pick one of these up for myself :)
Ah yes, I've seen the PVP systems that use these cartridges. I have a feeling it's just the cartridge shape which is the same. Unfortunately I don't have a PVP to hand to test the cartridge on.
I'd recommend buying one of these systems. They're really well put together.
Well at least the USB power supply it came with wasn't a Europlug.
If I remember I could specify which type I wanted when ordering. Still, it doesn't really matter with this system since a standard USB charger would work just fine.
That's a pretty good Chinese knock off , and some really cool games and the emulation is very good
finally a solid cheap handheld from China. Its pretty good IMO
Hopefully there will be more on the way soon.
20 bucks isn't bad at all.
I didn't know Keith lemon did game reviews
Keith Lemon is from (or supposedly) from Yorkshire :p.
Now where did I put my strawberry blond wig and 'tash.
wait, what was the deal with the right side? ...did i miss something? (edit: never mind, guess the back was off a little)
anyway, not too bad. sound might be a little off, but not as bad as some. of course, no battery backup means my android phone is still far better, but not too bad
This product is selling even in Japan
No, I've never seen it on sale here.
Twenty bucks for that level of quality? I dig it!
It may not be perfect but for the price it's a great deal.
Look out Nintendo. The Chinese knock offs are catching up in quality.
That's a shame. Although the link which I provided has sold out. Maybe you can get another in the near future.
I'm sure they got permission from Nintendo to include all those games.
China doesn't need permission :)
Tbh I wouldn't play any of those game for than 10 seconds each . And I'm 43yrs old .
Neither would I most likely. I have no nostalgia for the NES.
It is aesthetically pleasing, but if someone wanted to play retro games on the go why not just hack a used psp and load it with emulators
True point. I guess this device is aimed towards two types of customer. The one with no interest / ability to hack a PSP and those who want something a little different.
I wish it could be hacked to run OpenDingux.. :(
Ah, this isn't powerful enough. It's basically just a NES on a chip.
"Item is currently not available for purchasing "
Yep, it's sold out. Looks like many bought it after I posted the link.
But the audio is so bad
Cool machine😎😎😎😎😎😎😎😎
I love games like that
Does it gave Mario kart?!!!
Nope.
The butchering of excellent Blaster Master music saddens me, but then what do you want for $20
Some people have pointed out that the triangle wave form from the music is missing. This means there's no bass.
Looks dope
Retro Core the new Ashens lol
I've actually been making videos since 1995 when they were distributed on VHS :D
John S most of ps1s shovel ware is "hilarious" or at least a joke on original hardware.
Oh, I don't think they'll ever stop milking the FC :p the next unit I'll be reviewing promises to be something cool but.......
That's awesome😍😍😍
Yes, I was surprised by the quality for the price I paid. This isn't a expensive machine.
I don't understand why anyone would want a gaming system that doesn't allow game saving. It's perplexing. 🐙
Not really...I never save in retro games...it's for the weak to be honest, plus the games weren't designed like that.
*In old man voice* Back in my day there was no such thing as a gaming system that saved unless there was a battery in the cartridge. AND WE WERE HAPPY!
Lol I can appreciate that but this is 2018! Not even having a save state function? It's kind of off-putting.
Queer Melancholy
Dude...it's cheating. :D
Hmm, depends. I mean I can't save state on any of my hundreds of original Retro games and it doesn't bother me at all. Most games can be completed within an hour.
This device doesn't actually contain any games that would require a game save state to be honest.
video genial
Thank you!
Can you hack it????
I don't think so. Mostly the systems based on Dingoo hardware can be hacked.
Another Chinese made console that blatantly disregards IP rights and profits off it.
At least it's well made...Nintendo should make a handheld NES...it's their fault they haven't.
Although I do see your point.
Good IP is theft
What's new there. China have been doing that with everything from cars to food products for decades. They have no shame.
The AAA option is a clear winner. If only more of these systems offered that.
You can't go far wrong with a GB Light.
