I have this one, did not make review about it want to test it out. even ripped it apart because this little mini retro machine is totally different. Like allways great video Retro Core :D
I was looking at this off Ebay Mark. The price was about right to me, and think it was worth investing into one. I personally like it and can do wonders if someone's good imagination is put into it. Nice work as always bro. Loved your works as usual. 8^) Anthony...
@@RetroCore That would be a dream, but then I assume you would need something overlapping like Retroarch or similiar to handle the 2P Stuff, no idea how active the Dingo Community is, seems they saved the day quite often.
Saturday Night Slam Master is actually a CPS1 game, but it looks very good and it's easy to get confused. Though this shows that emulation quality still depends on the game as well. And it looks like that the RS-12 unfortunately has not been hacked yet, but hopefully it will be soon. Excellent video, as usual.
I think what a lot of people are trying to say with the analog stick is that, as you mentioned the deadzone is pretty big, which is a sign that its most likely one of those super cheap "analog" sticks, the ones you usually find in 5$ ps3 controller ripoffs that aren't actually analog, they work just like a D pad like an on/off switch and there is no in between
You need to put the game files into a folder called "game" on the SD card in order for them to appear in the menu. Weird that you got the wrong manual.
I saw that comment about the analog stick. An easier way to say it is...it's an analog stick that WORKS digitally. It isn't a real analog stick where you can push a little to the left and your character will move slowly like in an arcade. I wish there was still external controllers ports and still had the TV out instead of that "audio cable" to link two of these machines together. Too bad it doesn't have 6 buttons either.
I bought one of these over a year ago... Finally got a chance to try it out and none of the games will start for me. Everything I select just crashes back to the menu.
mame games like mappy, frogger, pacman, galaga, space invaders, dig dug and such... is this a good choice? I play emulators on pc and the POWKIDDY V90 mainly, but I want a joystick arcade machine just for old retro arcade games.
This is great! It's a shame only 4 buttons, meaning all the capcom 6 button fighters are a no go. Plus points for the internal battery, the neo geo mini and data east 10 inch don't have one. Is there a games list for this anywhere?
The internal battery is a great extra for sure but as you mentioned, only having 4 buttons is a bummer when it comes to the Capcom fighters. As far as I know there's no games list but it's kind of irrelevant since you can add your own games via the micro SD.
I actually came across a 1/4 scale SF2 to try out and although the controls were authentic I was jiggling the whole cabinet a lot so that is something an analog stick is less prone to given the size of the unit. Just looking on the bright side or something. :| Annoying having to explain the difference between analog and digital joysticks. :S Very nice camera setup, it's like I'm using it. Sound emulation on CPS1 games is so bad even a newcomer should hear that stutter/echo/buzz, CPS2 seems fine. Nice you can change the software but when you're knocking off anyway the maker could use the best emulator every time, same sources we all use. O_o???
I really don't understand why the makers of these things don't update their software. It's out their for free. Anyone can access it. They're really boost their credibility if they improved the products. Then again I guess money is more important than credibility in China.

Hi, I bought this console, but it only turns on the green LED on the back and does not give image or sound, could you help me? I already tried with other cables and it's the same
Sounds like it's broken to me. If the green light is lit then it should boot to a menu. Are you using an iPhone power brick? If you are I'd stop using that. Those give off different apmage to standard USB or Android power bricks.
aaaah ok there is a 6 button version and a 4 button version. i see the 6 button is the one where you can hook it to the tv. but the 4 button has coop via link cable :-D is the screen smaller on the 4 button servion? the 6 button looks like it has a 16:9 aspect ratio?
I'm pretty sure I covered a 6button one a while back with a 4:3 screen. Then again I cover that many I start to loose track. This one does have a 4:3 screen though which is perfect.
MD is with sound, but off :) It`s nevertheless playable. It could be possible to run GB/GBC games when they`re converted in GBA format with "goomba". Will try that. Are there custom roms out there?
Tested Gameboy (Goomba GB->GBA) on it. Works. Played Super Mario Land. I don`t like the green/black color, but this should be more like the old original. Will try GBC too
Funny that someone could think you don't know what an analogue stick is. :D Even if it "works digitally" it's still an analogue stick which really puts me off. I'm very intrigued about the link play idea, haven't seen that since the old Game Boy.

Are you talking about the image on a TV screen? If there is no image there are two possible issues. First is your device is set to the wrong region compared to your TV. I don't know where you live but if its Europe then you will need a PAL signal but the machine might be in NTSC mode. Maybe you can change this in the settings? The other issue maybe that your machine has an old firmware that doesn't suport TV out. Maybe you can search the net for a new firmware.
