    I'm gonna try this. I saw one of the lady who did a tutorial using the whole kit. I can't afford that machine light. Thank you for showing the easiest way without damaging my pocket 😁. Thank you to mother nature it's free 😊.

    I was a little confused too, but reading your answers below helped a lot. Now you used chalk ink, and the kit uses Speedball ink. Can you use acrylic paint or other mediums too?

    Could you list everything that we would need for this? It gets a little confusing when I’m not sure what I need. This is one of my favorite videos because I waste a lot of time making throwaway stencils when this method makes a reusable stencil.

      Hey Joy, I'm not sure about photosynthesis, but emulsion seems to be the keyword here. I have not learned the entire technical process, but I know it's UV rays curing the exposed areas of the stencil. How that happens is part of the magic for me 😂 ---Becky

    Did I hear you say Ikonart? Is that where you get your supplies? I had been contemplating getting their materials to make stencils. But what you are saying is we don’t need the exposure light, we can just use Mother Nature!! Am I understanding this correctly?

      I believe so. Since the Sun has UV rays it works just as well! Or if you have an old yudu machine which I Plan on using for this. You could probably use any UV light source.

      Stephanie I think the Mylar sheet is to hold the design and film in place when you are exposing it.

      Yes, that's the film from the stencil. It didn't get cut out :)
