I'm gonna try this. I saw one of the lady who did a tutorial using the whole kit. I can't afford that machine light. Thank you for showing the easiest way without damaging my pocket 😁. Thank you to mother nature it's free 😊.
Hey Stacy! Absolutely! It's IkonArt brand and they offer a fun little kit on Amazon to set you up with what you need. Hope this helps! ---Becky www.amazon.com/Ikonart-Textile-Bundle-Printing-Squeegee/dp/B08G8SXJ72/ref=sr_1_3?dchild=1&keywords=ikonart+kit&qid=1615492642&sr=8-3
I was a little confused too, but reading your answers below helped a lot. Now you used chalk ink, and the kit uses Speedball ink. Can you use acrylic paint or other mediums too?
Hey Kelli! I would start off with one of the kits, you can get them on Amazon for around $42 and it comes with everything you need. Hey Amanda! This one in particular is from IkonArt, but there are a few other brands available on Amazon that I haven't tested out yet. Hope this helps! ---Becky
Did I hear you say Ikonart? Is that where you get your supplies? I had been contemplating getting their materials to make stencils. But what you are saying is we don’t need the exposure light, we can just use Mother Nature!! Am I understanding this correctly?
I believe so. Since the Sun has UV rays it works just as well! Or if you have an old yudu machine which I Plan on using for this. You could probably use any UV light source.
Hey Joan! Yes, this is IkonArt brand stencil material and you can absolutely use natural sunlight, it's all about those UV rays! Hope this helps! ---Becky

Question on another video you did on how to use cricut design space for sublimation...i did not know there was a design bundle for designs until yesterday. I need to know where i can buy from you the back ground and the cute red gnomes that you used in that video..i am also confused on the next steps to print and cut...

Hey Stephanie, yes the clear mylar stencil is just simply to sandwich the design in place and keep your pieces stable while exposing to the sunlight. Hope this helps! ---Becky

What type of up lamp could I buy to use with this. I know the ikon art is a 30watt up light. Can you use any 30 watt up black light lamp?
Can you add diatomaceous earth to the acrylic paint to thicken it up for use with the screen printing stencil?
