Just a note and know Im late commenting...use parchment paper for heat pressing craft type projects!? Unless you want the wax for some reason parchment paper is high heat proof and doesnt have the wax to stick. Im old school and broke so watching a lot of videos to make my own stencils which I will be cutting by hand.Only just realized this vinyl is stold as removable. I was just going to buy spray adheasive but now Ive seen this idea of making mesh stencils will incorporate that into my plans. I dont have anything but iron and a hot knife! But im only just getting into crafts. The knowledge here is great no matter how I do it. Thanks so much. Oh I used plaster powder to make chalk paint but using chalk is great idea too. By adding the hand sanitzer you just made alcohol ink chalk paint!
I was watching this video to figure out how to make a silk screen stencil but then she shocked me with the sidewalk chalk! I've never seen that before. Genius money saver hack. Thanks for the video! 💜
Wow, I knew you could make screen stencils but didn't know that you could use regular sidewalk chalk and hand sanitizer to make a chalk paste. You are a wealth of knowledge Kerri! And you are so good with your Cricut for only having it the short time that you have. You blow me away each and every time. Well done! Hugs, Brenda
Mind Blown!!! My mind is swirling with so many ideas!! Thank you Kari for sharing your creative ideas, you fail to come up with out of the box ideas and creations. LOVE THIS!! EVERYWHERE
I saw a hack from Tanner at Makers Gonna Learn where he suggests you always leave your setting on custom so it reminds you to always check your cut settings. It’s working great for me! ❤️❤️❤️❤️
That was a fascinating video. I like silk screening and was learning how to make permanent screens when I bumped into your video. I didn't know anything about chalk paste stenciling so this was an eye opener. Thank you for sharing.
Fantastic tutorial. Also, thank you for giving all of us crafters the opportunity to win a cricut! I myself have only dreamed of having one after watching everything that can be done with them. I hope your birthday month was fantastic and congratulations to you and your family upcoming wedding ❤️❤️
I’ve watched every video on stenciling and all I found is transfer taping a word or design just to turn out to be a vinyl stencil.😟. Your tutorial is EXACTLY what I’ve been searching for! Ahh, heaven. Thank you 🥰🥰🥰
This is SO VERY HELPFUL!! Thank you so so so much! I just ordered everything off Amazon and will let you know how everything turns out! You’re the best!!
You should see my face right now! 😂😂😂this is MIND BLOWING! I like those chal couture stencils but I certainly do NOT like the price especially when you can’t have that image everywhere in your house! Now I can make my own w my cricut and I am THRILLED! Love it that you can re use then just like chalk couture! Will try the chalk idea as well! I am having a snow day in Kansas and may binge watch your channel! Blessings to you! 🥰🥰🥰🥰
Kerri - once again I'm impressed! How do you learn all these things? Thanks for taking the time to teach us. Have fun at the wedding and HAPPY BIRTHDAY!!
Happy birthday, Kerri! My brother is a true Halloween baby, born smack-dab at noon on Halloween! 👻🎃. Thank you for this tutorial. I’d love to try it someday. ~Debbie Z~
Excellent video!! Can't believe I found this since I have looked everywhere. I was wondering if your not worried about reusing your stencil can you skip the heat and bond part?

I don't know how I missed this video, but thank you. I want to get a cricut so that I can make stencils. I really need it for my business. I have a concrete business and I always have to have my niece print me my stencils to put onto benches. I really need to get one.
Love this video! I looked for the link in your description box, but I didn't find the link for the silk screen mesh. Maybe I overlooked it. Please, once you have a chance, guide me to it! 🙂. Thanks!
I loved the video! I’ve been wondering if small, reusable stencils like these could be done instead of using vinyl or HTV on my screen printing frame every time I want to make a quick design!
This a a great video but I am having some issues. My cricut is just tearing through the heat bond paper. I usually just adjust the settings but I have tried going up and down with the pressure. I can't seem to get it to cut. What would you suggest
I am currently trying to learn how to make my own mesh stencils. I made two today. The problem I have is pieces of the stencil does not stay adhered to the mesh. What can I do to fix this? I greatly appreciate your video!!
This video is old but I just seen it today, I am wondering if these mesh stencils can be used with inks for card making, or will the mesh cause issues when using the ink with an ink blending brush?

This is an awesome tutorial. Will the homemade chalk paste stick to fabric?
Do you wash with just water and if so how long do these stencils last as far as stickiness?
Extremely helpful thank you God bless

Have you done the new update? I actually had to contact cricut support after I did the latest update, because I was having problems with pressure
Hi😊 Can these stencils be used for screen printing?
Do you have a tutorial on how you use the cricket to cut the design on it? I've got a cricket I've never used. I'm not very good with all that .lol
I don't know if it's too late for the giveaway, happy to join anyway, " Everywhere"!❤
I like how you made that loo

This video is old but I just seen it today, I am wondering if these mesh stencils can be used with inks for card making, or will the mesh cause issues when using the ink with an ink blending brush?
Thank you!!!!😊😊😊😊
Nice job
Awesome
Does it matter what kind of vinyl? Does it have to be HTV or just any regular vinyl will do?
Have you found the adhesive uv film at an affordable price without using the silhouette or cricut machine
Why the heat and bond? Is that the same a printable heat transfer? Could add the screw mesh between two pieces of vinyl without heating?
If you use paint or a a thicker chalk paste, does it have a smooth finish like this one appears to have? I would love to try this.
