This is so cool to see you build a car from ground up. Can't wait to see the finished product. Btw the GTO emailed me to say she was cold. Finish up already! Lol

🤣🤣 I just took the GTO for a spin around the block yesterday. Really need to drive that car more.
Yep it is neat for me also. Just think, about 80% of the welds on the car, are going to be done by me.
Hopefully by Christmas, Ill have the car on some sort of a suspension.... Hopefully

I’m always glad to see guys replacing the entire panel rather than cut it along the body line and that’s twice the work for what? Saving a couple feet of original metal? There’s very few people who can do it successfully without major warping and using a lot of filler to correct it. I do a lot of side work and there’s a lot of shops trying to hire metal guys like myself because “ we’re a dying breed “. With every panel you do you get so much better at finding ways to make them fit and get faster. A guy can make 2-6k extra a month from his garage by doing quarters and floor panel replacement. We need to keep these cars on the road! Love your work keep it up buddy you have my support

      Hey Jason!
I agree. That's why I went with the whole panel replacement versus patching. Time = money and a better finished result imo. That and I kinda suck at putting patches in like that lol. I've tried it over the years and doesn't work out to well for me. Maybe one of these days I'll get the hang of it.
Thanks for writing, watching and being a part of the journey!

Um. Up top was around 49.5" and lower 44. Something. I'll have to go measure the car in a bit
