This is the dream, man...

Dream job ‼️🔥 the van the cables the sound system you’ve got it all. As long as they pay you your job’s worth 💰 over kill don’t matter
What matters is what they paid for
I love the content but it blows my mind that you have so many high end pieces (COMBINE8, ULX, P9T, etc) but are still running ZLX for tops. I love the ZLX for what it is but you should really consider upgrading to something like a RCF ART932 with the 3" HF driver. It's a crazy difference (I own both). ETX or even EKX if you wanna stick with EV (I had all ETX and a couple ZLX before I moved to RCF). Nowadays I only use the ZLX when I need more wedges or for rental / ceremony systems. But I love the content and I actually moved to using the AC mesh because of you. 🤙🏽
I hear you dude! You’re not wrong about the EVs! It was more of business/financial decision when I started the company rather than an audio one.
I invested in quality components upstream because if I don’t have mics or IEMs that work consistently, and/or aren't easy to interface with, then ultimately the kind of speakers I have won't matter all that much. That’s my opinion.
Thanks for watching and I hope the mesh system works out for you!
@@SilverCreekAudio I agree with @JosephSoulMusic on the ZLX´s and 3" or 4" HF drivers, but I for sure also 100% understand that it can be necessary to prioritize $$$$/gear. What caught my attention the most was the ZLX as frontfill LYING down making the horn a 60 x 90 degr., for a one-time-use and not that wide of a stage okay, but as a budget-solution I like the LD Icoa 12 (or 15) where you can rotate the horn, btw very versatile speakers for frontfill, monitor, small PA solo or with subs, and rental.
I´m watching from Denmark, sub´ed 2-3 weeks ago and love the content, watched the rack video 2-3 times 👍👍👍 keep up the good work !
The Ferris Bueller quote was not missed 👍
YES! Glad someone caught that!
Overkill is always better than under-performing.
wise words to live by. Thanks for watching!
Great advice! I got buuurned on my first scream-o show and never made that mistake again!
good quote. I'm stealing that! : )
You should make a video showing off your mixing station layout and how you setup matrices for subs FF etc.
Good idea! Thanks for watching!
thanks for sharing these videos, love the process. wishing you both much success.
I made a 100' 12/3 SOOW extension a while back for a couple of outdoor events I had, where the nearest plug was about 80' away. watching your videos made me wanna cut it in half and just patch when needed instead of carrying the whole thing around hehe..
Don't want to connect two extensions together because you reduce the usable amperage. Always better to carry one of each length.
3:00 that bee almost got destroyed by the cable lol
lol didn't think anyone would notice that. good call out!
I use the ELX 18SP subs too! How do you like their performance, pros and cons? I really appreciate their lightweight design.
With your current setup, what’s the largest crowd you could comfortably cover? I'm thinking of it in terms of DJ mixes and making sure there’s enough punch for everyone.
Why didnt you attach the subs together?
I'm always startled as an European, to see you walking around in sneakers and jeans. If I were to show up at an event like that, people would start asking questions. LOL
Would love to see more in dept mixing video. Like what choices do you make for (voc) FX, and why. What mics you use and why etc. Love the content. keep up the good work.
Where do you suggest getting a shock mount rack case from? I’ve been enjoying all your videos and must have missed that.
I love it when people think a rig or snake is overkill, lol. I'm like, NAH, it makes my life easier, I will use it!
whatever works best for your workflow is the way to go!
keep up the great work man love the vids
Will do! Thanks for watching!
Unreal. You should have been able to drive right up to the stage for load in lol I’d refuse
Now I agree it’s better to have more but for that gig it really wasn’t overkill those tops aren’t that powerful nor those subs overall, I really enjoyed your video. Great job great equipment.
glad you like it dude! thanks for watching!
You deserve my subscription man! May more business coming to you.
Thanks for the sub man!
so much work when two bluetooth boomboxes (like jbl), two subwoofer like the mth30 (with amplifiers), and an aux splitter would do the same... great enthusiasm tho! keep it up ^^
Dj controllers are not bluetooth
At least not all of them. He is not streaming music djs are performing
What a GOATed setup!
lol thanks man!
That's a long haul load in/load out!
lol love the tone and editing of this vid
Thanks man!
Lante.
Siempre Con La Bendición De Dios.
Un fuerte abrazo.

Peru! That's awesome man! Thanks for watching the channel!
one man rig bro
great setup.... keep up the good work..
Hi brother how are you feeling today ❤️ super video ❤ Love from Sri Lanka 🇱🇰
🇱🇰
Very nice video. I'm also an engineer. What kind of cool straps do you have there? I hate it when the rest of them fly around. yours are so much more organized
They're called Rhino USA Retractable Ratchet Tie Down Straps: amzn.to/4cNWQbh Love these things!
I think the firt thing you should do, when you get power and such to the speakers, is to play that song that is in this video. Loudly!
Another great video thanks for share
Thanks for watching man!
Nice work! How do you like thE siamese power/audio cables…? I am thinking of getting a few for the mains.
Love them! Worth every penny! They're also about to be 5 years old.
Great vid! Just please upgrade those speakers asap! Only weak link in the rig and sadly the biggest difference maker imo
saving up! thanks for watching!
This is the Stuff, right here! By the way, what camera is being used?
It's a Canon R6 mkii. Thanks for watching man!
@ Of course and always!
😮 no extra hand, load, unload, set up, break down, all in, ☺️
Guys gotta do what a guys gotta do!
The ramp for the van?
Good job bro 😊😊
thanks dude!
Love the content!!!
Thanks man!
Nice setup.💪🏾🤟🏽
Thanks!
Such a cool setup! My only complaint, as a DJ, is that the table seems to be too low. You wanna have one eye on the crowd while you're mixing to see people's reaction of the songs and with a table this low, you're probably leaned too much forward to see over the edge of the stage. I guess it depends on the height of the DJ, but I feel most comfortable when the table is 1m. I guess taller DJs think that's too low as well, or maybe their backs develop a permanent curve over time 😆
lol the table is way too low! They brought there own but I needed to bring one just in case. DJ almost always brings their own setup.
@@SilverCreekAudio I've recently started to not bring any equipment if there's already PA and lights coming from a rental, let them set up everything if they're already doing their thing. Always great to see how others do stuff and not have smelly armpits during the event lol
What is the rolling cart you have your mains on? I like that.
Sound Town Rugged Plywood Caster Board: amzn.to/3VGLtLy
hi, i am just really curious.
all the juice for the sound and light come from that 2 power?
The long lonely load in.
They better pay you BIG!!!
I’m guessing this is probably a closely guarded secret, but any way you can throw hints out at what this kind of job is going for now days? I’ve been out of the game for a while, but occasionally get asked to do things and don’t have a clue what to ask.
If you want to message me on instagram we can talk about it. Thanks for watching!
Why you dont bring the car close to the stage ?
my van won't drive up stairs
@@SilverCreekAudio I didn't see the stairs earlier, a place that big should be accessible by car, anyway you did a great job, I’m enjoy watching your video 😃
Where did you buy the Ramp on the Van?
JR's Custom Auto Service in Irving, TX.
How much head room do the zlx’s give? And do they compare with the qsc k12.2s
K12's can be pushed harder and more efficiently
You need a team!
for a small speakers on sticks dj show? nah man. especially if he wants to actually make a profit on a show like this
nice video !
Thanks man!
why use an analog snake if its just 3 inputs & your mixer is next to the stage?
also what type of hooks do you use in your van for hanging cables?
There's a couple of reasons!
1. It's new. I love using my new gear.
2. It's 3 inputs and 4 outputs. Way easier and quicker (for me) to have it centered and in one spot. All cables coming from the rack tends to make a mess of things.
3. I love using snakes. Call me old fashioned.
At the end of the day, all that matters is that setup works with your workflow. I think these are the hooks amzn.to/4hAKwyA
Thanks for watching!
@@SilverCreekAudio i second the snakes thing. even in smaller/less complicated setups, it can be super nice for organization to have all my stage i/o in one spot. and, its another degree of protection from cables being yanked and damaging gear. i'd rather lose a connector on my snake than on my mixer.
what tripods do you use. I need ones that go up high like these. I'm a one man production 😎
I'm using these in this video Ultimate Support TS-99BL TeleLock: sweetwater.sjv.io/rQ7N2v
Maybe I missed in the video, how long was setup?
I have similar gigs with similar rigs and am just trying to see if I'm too slow.
I didn't even think to put that in the video. I would say the total time from load in to finishing setup was about 2 hours.
Sre those elx118p? I have a pair of those and I feel like they have no power… same with my pair of ekx15sp
How much you charge this setup per dj gig
what rachet straps.. the green ones. thanks
Rhino USA Retractable Ratchet Tie Down Straps: amzn.to/4cNWQbh
❤❤❤❤❤
thanks for watching!
You definitely shoulda had packed croud. I’m too poor to get all that equipment for a low count of a crowd. I love this too much. Nawwww
my dad had 2 zlx 12" but he sold them to my uncle. my dad kept his ekx-15p and bought 2 zlx-12ps and a zxa1 sub for like 500 dollars from fb market place (used for a few months looked brand new minor scratches).. and he only uses it in his garage and friends house no gigs nothing like that..
new subs here brother..shout.out from philippines cebu city
always appreciate that! thanks dude!
big brother i really want to work with you, I'm very passionate for working with live audio system like mixing cabling etc etc
Couldn’t you get the van any closer?
It doesn't drive up stairs very well.
What about if it's rain... Can you manage to cover all of it by your self...
we have tarps but it's a chore
Tell your wife you are a better-looking James Ransone.
Great video experience, by the way.
I setting up build like this alone from 17 yo. maybe some physical help by other, but all other on me
You can’t drive up to the stage?
Only stairs up to the area. You can see them during the load in briefly.
Bang seru bangat videonya
thanks for watching!
Love your stuff bro - cool to see some av stuff on UA-cam - is rare. Have a suss of my av videos If you’re keen to see some of the stuff I do in Aus 😊
Thanks man! Thanks for watching!
I love DIY from the beginning, I don't appreciate Lego Systems that much. Namastè.
