My concealed carry weapon choices for EDC

- Here are the two handguns I choose for EDC. The Glock 27 is my mainstay for 3 seasons of the year, and the Colt Agent 38 special snubnose is my carry gun for hot summer weather. This video was prompted as a Video response to Faliaphotography 15k sub giveaway. Congratulations to her for a great channel

Yes, G27 is awesome, makes a great EDC for all but really hot weather, when it proves to be a little heavy and bulky for light clothing, IMO. Thanks for watching, and your comments
That Colt agent 38 spl is so bad ass. love that gun
Hurray..someone actually carries a .38 revolver like me.Good vid,Thanks.
Ted Cregger good choice for EDC, glad others are out there too.
Ted Cregger I carry s.w. 36 ,38 Spl more then my 9mm .
The G27 and a snubbie are an awesome pair for CCW. Thanks for watching, Jon
yes I really have a fondness for the Colt. I picked it up really reasonable priced over 20 years ago.
Thanks for the vid! Nice guns and I especially enjoyed your shooting clips :) Good luck in the giveaway!
I resisted Glocks for many years, but I finally broke down and bought one, and I'm hooked. Still have several revolvers too. Thanks for subbing/
Great video! Love the revolver!
Yeh, night sights would be cool, but I'm reluctant to spend the money. I'm usually not out at night. For bedside gun I have a Glock 17 with Streamlight TLR3.
Great video. Well presented and quite informative.
Thank you.
The revolver for the win! I love my S&W 642 I can carry that for 12 hours 14 hours whatever and it's so light and easy to carry I barely know it's there. This is for sure an "always gun". Carry 5 more rounds in a speed strip. I think 10 rounds of .38+P should be good enough for 99% of self defense situations.
Thanks for watching and a great compliment.
I used a white crayon, rubbed across lettering, and then wipe off excess. It's not permanent, but it's easy to touch up as needed.
love the revolver. good video!
Nice Choices
Thanks Marley.
Great Information👍
that lil revolver is nice, i like the block 27 also, i own one my self. but i really dig that lil 38 snub nose.. thats a nice lil gun ..
Both are great choices. What kind of ankle holster did you find works best?
That's a heck of a wallop Mister, we don't want no trouble.
Does the hammer not bother you sticking out like that? both good carry options. I have the 26 and a Ruger 101.
Thanks, I like it, Jon.
I have a video that features the Colt snub and a Charter Arms snub too. I like the Colt as a backup, and EDC in warmer weather. Carries much easier than the Glock, less in weight and size. Thanks for adding to the discussion , and subbing. Jon
Thanks for sharing!
Great choices. Thanks for sharing.
Thanks for watching.
good vid. Glock 27 undiscovered master piece of engineering. don t you just love shooting/ carrying that s.o.b. gen 4 in california was able to get ahold a one had to pay a premium price though but well well worth it for such a great carry gun!
It's a shame Colt no longer makes their D frame revolvers like this. You can find them on the used market, but values have increased in the last few years. Thanks for watching and your comments.
well done
Great choice. I carry the Glock 26 and the S&W 360PD Air Lite 357 revolver. But I am about to buy the Glock 36 and carry that instead of the 26. You cant go wrong with 45 auto. "45 auto.. because shooting twice is stupid"
Glad the 23 works for you.
Great choices bro!
Thanks Jarhead6
I love the glock! How did you get the white inside the lettering?
Nice choices. I have yet to really carry a revolver.
Lcr 38 works good and perfect for Carrying all day
My choices are not dissimilar.
I carry a 38 snub daily, and occasionally carry a S&w shield.
They are both very comfortable to carry everyday abd never print.
Thanks Jon18...
I would like to give the LCR a try some day.
Excellent choices but when I carry my G27/26 I usually carry a G19/23/17/22 as a spare. I have both the G26 & G27 but the G26 I purchased from Gabe Suarez and it is outfitted with the threaded barrel using a TiRant suppressor tall trijicon night sights and a Docter III holo sight believe it or not I find it better than my Trijicon that I have on my FNP45 Tactical anyways I digress the G27 I use as a .40 and have the long wolf .40-9mm conversion which allows me more capacity and sometimes .40 is easier to get where as 9mm is always cheaper. But those are great choices. BTW are those Black Talons on the revolver?
Sounds like you have great CCW plan, Mine is pretty much the same as athis video. Rely more on the Colt than the Glock. The ammo for the Colt is Federal Nyclad swc hp. Thanks for adding to the discussion.
Nice point. the .38 in your pocket is better than the .44 in your closet.
That's a nice revolver.
This used to be my exact method due to the drastic Indiana weather changes until I found the xds-9 and it has solved the issue of deciding what gun to conceal with what clothing..It is super thin compared to the glock when carrying iwb, but still has near the capacity of the baby glock..Only 9+1 with the flush 27 and 7+1 with the flush xds9 and believe it or not the small thickness makes a huge difference, plus the undercut trigger guard lets me get a more full grip on the xds.JM $.02
The XDs is a good choice. I am considering a Kahr 9mm for my EDC, and that is similarly sized as the XDs. Thanks for adding to the discussion.
It is also a great choice, about 2yrs ago I was carrying a pm40...great gun and perfect size..the .40 was just too much pop for that size gun to be any sort of pleasure during practice. The triggers are smooth and require some practice to get used to since there is not discernible "shelf" to lean on.
kahr cm9! If I had not gotten cabin fever and wound up buying a new rifle dreaming of going woodchuck hunting and long range target shooting over the last 5 months, would have gotten one lol. very slim and easy to hide
A Kahr CM9 is also on my short list. I think it could replace both the Colt and Glock in top spot.
Oh forgot to say good vid, I'm on the fence in buying a G27 for EDC I have a G23 and like it but haven't carried it yet. My EDC currently is a SCCY 9mm. It's about the size of a G27 but has a DAO trigger which is hard to master.
bbariceo sounds like a fine choice for carry too, just gotta master the dao trigger.
I am tending to carry the snub more, even as the cooler weather makes it easier to carry the Glock. The Colt is less bulky and has less square edges to make carry uncomfortable. Thanks for watching
Perfect.
sounds a like a lot of work, but I may try it out. Thanks for watching
They look good, and are quite comfortable, and improve handling a bunch over the factory grips. Thanks for watching
That's funny because I carry a glock 23 gen 4 all year around and have no problems with printing or anything..and I'm 5"8" 150 lbs
It’s 2020... is this still your EDC CCW? Mine’s a Glock 19 and has been everyday since 2001.
Wow...typical Glock fanboy arrogance at work here! 🙄
I guess I don't understand why revolver is better for the summer?
Sam C. It's not. Some think it conceals more easily... i don't see it tbh. Especially when compared to the 27 sized firearms. It's not up to par imo.
I luuuuuuv your Colt Agent 38!
If you sell it let me know please!
Why did you choose the Nyclad for your 38 defensive round?
+Mark Pelenytschka it's what I had in the cabinet, vintage defensive load. 158gr hp,
I would argue that 18 rds of 38 Special is not that much less fire power than 21 rds of 40 Smith and Wesson. Some, but not all that much.
Thanks for watching.
what would be your maximum deadly range with that 38?
Rich Theisen I would think 12-15 yards would be a reasonable limit.
Thanks, I want to carry something during the summer but I think a revolver is still to beefy with shorts. Maybe a little Kel-tec.
+Rich Theisen I tried the kel tec pf9 and p3at....just got a 38 special taurus and I'd much rather pocket carry the revolver than the 380 kel tec. safer, don't need a holster, more powerful round and if your going iwb carry it you can get a better grip on the draw on the revolver than the kel tec as well. Just my 2 cents.
+Rich Theisen check out the taurus m85 ultralight. about the same price as a kel tec or ruger lcp, shoots 38+p and I'd slim and light as a feather.
u use almost the same guns as me for this reason
Great choices *****
glock27 i mean
a civilian needing a reload is very slim
Yes, John Arter but i'd rather have a reload, and not need it, than be without if needed.
thats true
I like the guns but bro 20 rounds of .40? That's not EDC. That's home defense. lol
+Bootalige Active shooter defense?
lol considering most gunfights end in about 3 shots I'd say he's *pretty well prepared*
my owner doesnt carry me concealed but when he takes me on field trips ,he has 40 30rd mags
Key word: MOST! Not all gun fights are 3 shots.. Plus most of the time when a gun fails, it's not the gun its the mag. so its nice to have a backup.
How is this a marvel of engineering? Every time I see a video of glockenspiel something has to be upgraded or changed? New shooter here looking for my first. glockenspiel won't be it!
Glad I waited for the Sig P365, no glockenspiel for me!
