My personal EDC. Make sure your EDC suits your life. Stay safe and thanks for watching.
Shirt: www.endoapparel.com/
Thanks for watching my vid! I love my M&P. I used to be all "Team Glock", but I tried an M&P and I switched over. I would recommend an M&P to and for anyone. I have at least 3000 rounds through my 9mm M&Pc and have NEVER had a hiccup.
You are the first person that I've heard mention a locked and unlocked phone as part of the EDC. Great tactical thought. Thanks.
Best comment is 2 is 1.. 1 is none... That's a very good way to think about it honestly
You could easily replace the second phone with a laminated piece of paper with emergency contact info...not to mention cheaper.
You have a very comprehensive setup. I like the way you professionally presented it. I also think you should upgrade your knife. Every man needs a quality knife to carry everyday. Buy a good one with a quality steel, and good lockup. Keep it clean, oiled, and sharp. It will serve you for a lifetime. I would recommend Benchmade, Spyderco, Emerson, or Zero Tolerance they all make great knives.
Also, I've never thought of making sure my phone isn't locked! Definitely keeping my phone unlocked from now on. Very good safety feature for car accidents, etc. Folks can call your family, but they can also use it to call for help.
+James Joseph No, leave it locked... Cops can unlock phones.. Let them do their jobs.
i like the key swinging idea- was thinking of putting a kubuton at the end of it
I really enjoy your videos. Always well thought out. Changing holsters for the seasons never crossed my mind, something i will have to look into. Thanks for sharing
I really like the clean format of these videos.
Thanks for watching brother... That was just the knife I grabbed that am, that's why I smiled when I looked at it in the video... didn't realize that I had it!! Usually carry a SOG!
Same way here bro.
Two Ruger's SR9C LCR
Great video, nice job with this, very helpful and informative from your personal perspective.
I also have the S&W Bodyguard 38. as my EDC. Looking forward to seeing more of your videos.
Very much enjoying your videos so far! Keep 'em coming!
Take away one of the semi-autos and that is my edc. The guns are the biggest part, but the whole kit is quite manageable. Thanks for subbing and watching! Stay safe!
Interesting, thanks for the response. How do you carry things like money, drivers license, credit cards, CCW permit, receipts... Do you use a money clip? Do you just put them in your pocket?
just looking at you Sargeant slaughter I wouldn't FWY .....
This is a lot of good information. I am fond of the old fashioned clear plastic Bic pens. They have always seemed to be a good striking weapon. Graduated to Second Grade and was issued one. Went to Catholic School. Learned the value of that pen years ago. I agree about the idea of any pen working to strike. I like two. One for a jab, positioned with it's base in my palm and it's point extending out between my ring and middle finger on my jab hand. The other is for my strong hand swiping. Being in the first five kids in line for my entire school experience, I had to learn to fight.
Always looking for edc products and ideas. Practical and concise. The second phone is where I might differ. Thanx.
One note on pens. I do carry one, but not so much to use as a weapon. Mine's got a glass-breaker on it, which nobody thinks to really carry as often as, say, a knife, but it could really save one's ass if trapped by any number of closed windows. Car accidents were definitely on my mind when I bought it.
Great presentation! I like your philosophy! AEB 2 is 1 and 1 is none! OORAH! Semper Fi
Outstanding holster! I trust it and yes I own one!
Love your channel! Also, love that you carry S&W products, as I have found them to be great as well. (M&P380 or a 38 snubby)
Great vid. Nice edc setup
You're the first person I've ever seen that carries two phones. Interesting.
well hes got his burner phone that he sells coke with, and then his phone for everything else.
MachTwo57 my drug dealer carries 3
ICE: In Case of Emergency. Create a contact in your phone and label it ICE with the number of your emergency contact. Add additional numbers. Most phone OS's allow you to add notes to the contact for additional info that you would want first responders to know
Good job. Keep up the great work!
Awesome it's refreshing to hear young well spoken guys sharing realistic viewpoints of the world and speaking truth.
I just subscribed.. Thanks for sharing.
hey man i have to recommend to you the "UZI tactical defender pen" i bought mine and i use it every day. it has a fisher space pen cartridge (a pressurized ink cartridge), it has a glass breaker on the top of the pen, you can unscrew the top to reveal a compartment with a general key to handcuffs and to top it off its made of aircraft aluminum alloy. also only $18 at thinkgeek.com
good vid AJ...(that S&W Bodyguard is a nice little EDC revolver huh?)...had that and a M&P 9c ...both great guns...
Subscribed for Wisconsin! Great Vid, thanks for sharing!
Nicely done!
is that mag holder iwb? I'm looking for a good iwb mag holder.
Have you ever tried n82 tactical holsters?
Got the shirt from ENDO Apparel... The link is in the description and on my channel... Thanks for watching!!
I really respect how veterans think, they always are prepared for whatever!
I've been looking at getting a crossbreed holster and I'm curious if yours is made of the normal cowhide or did you opt for the horse hide? Thanks!
Two guns, two flashlights, two phones--but only one knife? And no Leather Man, and no back-up multi-tool? Whoa, you're taking your chances there, dude. And no bottle opener? What will you do if you have to drink an emergency bottle of beer?
haha dont forget a lighter...emergency joint
Damn straight! That's why every Boy Scout goes prepared with a lighter when he goes to camp!!!
+wickedenchanter It's all okay.. because he has his tactical Jesus cross... God Mode ON...
+khyoon14 Ha! Ha! Ha! Ha! Ha! Oh, that's funny, dude! It also explains why he doesn't carry condoms in his EDC--preparation for abstinence only!
That's why I always carry my cheat sheet on a post it. up up down down left right left right a b select start. I'm invincible. (it's an 80's thing on nintendo)
...the pen commentary killed me. Good stuff...LMAO!
I like your way of thinking! Picked up a new subscriber.
The paracord key chain handle, smart idea. May not cause any damage, but a great diversion while attacking with a knife in the other hand.
like the two gun concept. i carry my m&p 40 compact and my 40 Shield. Being disabled, I also have a cold steel heavy duty sword cane, and the cold steel spartan.
Great video man
That's not the only reason I have two phones. That one just happens to be unlocked in case of emergencies. And if I changed my wallpaper, how would I see my beautiful children when I am away from them all day and need a "kid fix"? ;)
Thanks for watching the video though. Stay safe and stay the course.
great EDC!
Awesome! You da man!! Thanks for the video
Good info, thanks. I enjoyed your video.
is your 5.11 tactical FL an LED or xenon?
Nice information , thank .
Yes thank you! I also carry my phone with no lock in case i get into an accident or get hurt to where i cant use it and need someone else to do it. With family being on my home page (with music and youtube of course lol)
Good video dude. Very informative
this is well thought out. Impressive. Does the leather on the holster cause sweating?
on my holster I have like that, it very much so does. My undershirt is usually covered in sweat, but i'm a sweater.
Fenix line of lights are excellent EDCs & very affordable. I have used the LD20 and LD22 for over 5 years now with great success. Runs AA batteries @ 180 lumens and has a strobe feature, with 4 different output selections. With rechargeables, I only charge once a month with everyday use. SOG Trident is an excellent crossover utility/defensive blade. Rec turning your paracord lanyard into a monkey's fist to use as a sap vs slinging your keys. Check ITS Tactical video for reference. Nice job.
Keep them coming homie. I'm diggin what you said. My EDC for Wisconsin is very similar. I'd like to compare notes with you one day soon. Get at me.
Anything can happen in any part of the world, it's always good to be prepared than not be prepared especially with the threats we face now a days.
Nice vids. Smart and to the point. Subbed!
I like your thinking mind! You are smart and thinking this entire video through.
Just checked you out great vid. I found a cool mag option to try, MAGHOLDER, they have a m&p holder.
I do similar. I carry pens, paper, and a video camera, even better if i can get a hidden one. I carry 2 firearms as well. Tie between CZ75 P-07 and P226 on right, and an FNX 45 on the left. Partly as backup but also in the case where one side is unobtainable (such as holding off the attacker i dont have to switch hands, or if holding an item).Instead of carrying 2 phones some offer the option to put messages on screen such as numbers to call.
This vid is a bit old. Cell phones now usually have a way to dial emergency contacts so they can call those one or two people if you are unresponsive. Lock your phones now protect your data.
Or an emergency contact card....i mean, the battery doesnt die. You know?
great video!
Well said bro.....
most police/licensing databases contain Next-Of-Kin info, there's really no need to carry a second unlocked phone. my phone has a mssg on the lock screen, some have apps you can make accessible from the lockscreen (without unlocking the device). beyond that you could add a medical data mini-USB or stainless steal plate to your paracord bracelet.
I'm working on getting a thigh holder for when I'm wearing a dress or skirt.
Hostile environments? None... Personal phone, work phone. House keys, work keys. ANd I never mention my bottle opener for Brew:30... Gotta crack a cold one from time to time... Do you not leave the house at night? Have you never need light for something? Flashlight, yes... Two guns, OF COURSE... You don't carry two guns? Weirded out? Not at all... Prepared for whatever life throws at me, FOR SURE! Thanks for watching!
Saw your video with FateofDestinee and added you. Good stuff, keep it up!
I was gonna ask if the paracord was Smith and weston
first and foremost
Same here, I was about half way through and noticed it. I thought it was the U.S.A. at first. lol. Great video!
Hey guy...nice video. good info. It really does seem like a lot to carry....but each to there own. like I said good video.
Man. First brother I've seen on YT doing an EDC video! Ha! You're a welcome sight. Good video IMO. Nice setup. Not too much. But enough to get the job done. May I suggest though (I'm sure you've thought of it) upgrading your folder, they make great firearms...folders....eh- not so much. You only have 5 vids and all those subs? Add me onto that total. Hope to see more from you. :-)
You live in Wisconsin what part I'm in Milwaukee
Great video man. Your doing a great job. Everything on the table is what I carry give or take but you left out one thing.......... Your wallet! Lol...... I only carry one firearm and one unlocked phone because I need to save the last space for the ole moneybag lol..... Im proud of you, Keep up the good work dude.
Don't forget the ICE number in your phone (In Case of Emergency).
Great vids bro!!
Hahaaa too funny you might as well be S&W spokesman. Good Video!
most phones have an ICE (in case of emer) contact setting. even when locked those three contacts are visible to first responders
I don't carry large amounts of cash... I usually just have cash, DL, CCW permit, health insurance card, debit and credit cards all secured by a small rubber band. I don't like my pockets to have visible bulges. This method helps to reduce that signature.
On Wisconsin!
This is late as hell but instead of carrying an extra phone I would suggest a iPod/media player or tablet because they also allow you to have contacts on them without having that star bill.
Are you ex military or are there not as many strict gun laws in wisconsin as here in california? Thanks
He probably was
What does that have to do with anything? I'm a military veteran, doesn't mean rules don't apply to me, but I did not have to take a concealed carry class, I was able to submit my 214 instead of taking a class. I don't receive any special treatment though, the law still applies to me. I live down South, and we have very lax gun laws. You don't need a license to carry open or carry in your car. Also if you can buy a gun, then you also qualify for concealed carry.
where I live you arent allowed to carry guns or knives, so i just have my keys, phone, wallet, and sometimes a small flashlight
I wish I could live in an infinite space like he does.
Great content! I'm subin'
Ohhhhhhhhhhhhhh No no no. We are not allowed to even touch that phone! That a court case waiting to happen.
Nice
Good for thought. Thanks for the share. I subbed you.
Lol, I am glad you clarified that because I was about to say, Damn bro what's up? You work for S&W or something?
Sweet Go WI
I live in Commie California, so it is extremely difficult to obtain a CCW permit. If I could I would consider an M&P 9mm or M&P 9mm shield. Also .380 would be a lot easier because they are generally smaller and thinner than compact 9mm's. In the summer I don't think I would want to carry more than a small pistol, my keys, cellphone and wallet.
ever consider buying a recurve bow and practicing archery? Don't laugh too soon because an arrow is a deadly weapon and regs on it in anti-gun states are very lenient.
Bob McGarry At least carrying it in your car.
Need to do more videos bro!
A little overkill. I don't think I'm a big enough guy to carry all that.
Horsehide. It's tougher, last longer, forms to your body better and wears better... But it's up to you.
Great video. The only thing I was thinking, instead of two phones, why not just keep a laminated card, like a business type card, in your wallet? That way, using your example, first responders don't have to spend time figuring out which phone is locked and so on. Just pull out the card, there it all is.
very nice video
This happens to be a smith and Wesson no promo.
5.11 flashlight ‘shows logo and website.
so u carry a note 2 but still need a ink pen?
At the time, yes I did. I carry a Note 5 now. But tell me how the phone would help if I need to write on paper? The pen also acts as an improvised weapon if need be. Thanks for your time.
Are you former military or just a citizen who values self defense , and the constitution?
nice video
I normally carry my leatherman and and my colt 45
I live in oak creek wisconcin
Carrying two phones seems a hassle. Just have the contact information as a wallpaper if your phone doesn't display contact information - like my old Windows Mobile phone does - when it's locked.
